PokerPro will provide live updates from both the €1,100 High Roller and the €555 Main Event. Don’t miss the action straight from Olympic Casino Lietuva.
After eliminating Vygerdas Jonikas in a relatively quick heads-up battle, Finland’s Rasmus Sihvonen is now crowned the €555 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker Main Event winner. For this feat, he is awarded a first-place payout consisting of €28,760, and even better, his name is forever printed into not only Lithuanian but global poker history.
Sihvonen is the first-ever Finnish winner of the OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker Event; he joins Paulius Žilinskas, Vitoldas Rogoža, and Aurimas Stanenvičius in the hall of fame of previous winners, and deservedly so.
That concludes the live coverage of OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker by poker.pro. It’s been a pleasure and the poker.pro crew thanks all the players, dealers, staff and organizers for putting up such an incredible event.
Rasmus Sihvonen attempted to call 80,000 from the small blind, but Vygerdas Jonikas raised to 400,000. Sihvonen called after a minute worth of consideration.
Jonikas continued his aggression, betting 400,000 on the 10♠2♥4♦ flop. Sihvonen wasn’t going anywhere; he threw in four pink chips to make the call.
The turn was the 6♦ and Jonikas now fired 900,000. Sihvonen made the call fairly quickly and the 5♥ fell on the river.
Jonikas now went all in for 2,000,000 and Sihvonen called after just a couple of seconds.
Vygerdas Jonikas: A♥7♦ Rasmus Sihvonen: 10♥8♥
With that, Jonikas’ count went to zero and he recieved €19,310 for his second place finish.
After Vygerdas Jonikas folded on the button, Rasmus Sihvonen forced Nerius Rutkauskas all in blind VS blind for roughly 700,000. Rutkauskas made the call.
Rasmus Sihvonen: 7♥2♦ Nerius Rutkauskas: J♦10♦
Even though holding the worst starting hand in Texas NLH, Sihvonen managed to eliminate Rutkauska as the board ran out 3♥7♣8♦K♠4♥. Rutkauska’s impressive run came to an end and Sihvonen is now heads-up against Jonikas for the title.
The three players remaining in the Main Event are now on break. Rasmus Sihvonen is the overwhelming chipleader and the final table has reached a very interesting ICM-spot. The players will return to Level 28 with blinds 40,000/80,000 and a big blind ante of 80,000.
Action was folded to Lukas Kviecinskas in the small blind who decided to go all in for 870,000. The decision was on Rasmus Sihvonen who didn’t seem to comfortable, but eventually, he made the call.
Lukas Kviecinskas: A♥Q♣ Rasmus Sihvonen: A♣7♦
“I was afraid of this”, Rasmus said referring to him being dominated by Kviecinskas, but he followed up with saying “a seven is always coming”.
The Finn was right; the board ran out 2♣7♠10♠9♠6♦ meaning Kviecinskas was eliminated in 4th place for €10,200.
Lukas Kviecinskas opened to 100,000 from the button prior to Nerius Rutkauskas making it 250,000 from the big blind. Kviecinskas made the call and the players were treated with a K♥7♥7♣ flop. They both checked and the turn was the 5♠. Rutkauskas bet 250,000 and Kviecinskas chose to call.
On the river A♣ Rutkauskas slowed down and checked, and Kviecinskas immediately went all in for 800,000. Rutkauskas folded in a heartbeat and Kviecinskas got some chips back from one of their previous encounters.
Nerius Rutkauskas has been aggressive on the final table and he doesn’t seem to have any intentions to slow down. After an initial open from Vygerdas Jonikas to 100,000 and a call from Lukas Kviecinskas, Rutkauskas 3-bet to 350,000 from the small blind. Jonikas folded but Kviecinskas decided to stick around.
Action went check-check on the 3♣10♠K♠ flop. On the turn 10♦, Rutkauskas fired 175,000 and Kviecinskas made the call. The river was the 4♠; Rutkauskas sized up and bet 600,000, enough to make Kviecinskas fold.
Rasmus Sihvonen made it 110,000 from the button, and Vygerdas Jonikas decided to defend his big blind.
Both players checked the 5♣7♠8♦ flop. On the turn 3♥, Jonikas check-called the 120,000 Sihvonen-bet. Jonikas also checked the 7♥ river prior to Sihvonen moving all in for 1,100,000.
Jonikas pondered for about 5 minutes and a small crowd gathered around the table. Eventually he announced fold, showing the 3♠.
Raivis Pucurs opened to 100,000 from the button. Nerius Rutkauskas called from the small blind and after Vygerdas Jonikas folded his big blind, it was time for a flop.
On A♣9♦9♠, Rutkauskas checked and Pucurs fired a 125,000 bet. Rutkauskas called which brought the Q♣. A 200,000 bet from Pucurs was called by Rutkauskas and the dealer dealt the 4♦ river.
Now, Rutkauskas forced Pucurs all in for 500,000. Pucurs did not make the call and Rutkauskas won a decent pot, leaving Pucurs with just 10 big blinds.
Nerius Rutkauskas led the way at the break with 3 million in chips. Start-of-the-day chip leader Lukas Kviecinskas is in second place with 2 million followed by Finland’s Rasmus Sihvonen with 1.7 million, Latvia’s Raivis Pucurs with 1.2 million, and Lithuania’s Vygerdas Jonikas with 1 million.
Even the short stacks are deep with every player with at least 20 big blinds with blinds at 25,000/50,000 with a 50,000 big blind ante when the action resumes.
Lukas Kviecinskas opened to 105,000 under the gun. Action folded to Julius Griežė on the button who went all in for 700,000. In a heartbeat, Nerius Rutkauskas re-shoved from the small blind for just north of 2,000,000. Kviecinskas looked agonised as he folded; it was time for showdown between Griežė and Rutkauskas.
Julius Griežė: A♣J♥ Nerius Rutkauskas: A♥A♦
Griežė was in rough shape and he didn’t suck out on the Q♣2♣7♦4♣5♠ runout. He finished in 6th place and after this hand, the remaining five players went on a 15-minute break. Poker.pro will soon return with chip counts!
Rasmus Sihvonen opened to 80,000 from the hi-jack. Egidijus Liutkevičius decided to defend his big blind.
The flop came 5♥3♥5♣ and Liutkevičius checked. Sihvonen bet 60,000 and Liutkevičius moved all in for 340,000 in a heartbeat. Sihvonen let out a heavy sigh before making the call.
Egidijus Liutkevičius: A♦2♣ Rasmus Sihvonen: K♣9♣
Liutkevičius was ahead, but not for long as the full board would run out 5♥3♥5♣K♠6♦. He bid farewell, picked up his €4,830, and Sihvonen collected the pot.
Vygerdas Jonikas opened to 80,000 from the cut-off and Raivis Pucurs defended from the big blind.
On a 3♠3♦A♠ flop, the action went check-check. When the turn brought the 9♥ Pucurs bet 100,000 and Jonikas threw in the chips for a call. Pucurs continued the aggression on the K♥ for 150,000.
Jonikas called and Pucurs instantly mucked his hand. Jonikas wasn’t forced to show his hand as he collected the chips.
Julius Griežė opened to 80,000 and Vilius Žamžickas called on the button. Then, Rasmus Sihvonen raised to 260,000 from the small blind. Griežė folded prior to Žamžickas moving all in for 800,000. Sihvonen called in a heartbeat.
Vilius Žamžickas: Q♦Q♣ Rasmus Sihvonen: K♥K♦
Sihvonen set the trap and he wasn’t punished on the A♦6♣8♦7♠3♣ runout.
Rasmus Sihvonen raised to 400,000 from under the gun, leaving himself 15,000 behind. Action was folded to Lukas Kviecinskas who used his monster stack to isolate the rest of the players. Sihvonen called and the two players went to showdown.
Lukas Kviecinskas: 7♠7♣ Rasmus Sihvonen: A♦9♦
Sihvonen hit the nut flush on the K♥5♦6♦J♦10♣ board, keeping the possibility alive that the trophy will go to Finland.
Vilius Žamžickas opened to 60,000 from the button. Action folded to Raivis Pucurs in the big blind who forced Žamžickas all in for 310,000. Žamžickas made the call.
Raivis Pucurs: K♠10♠ Vilius Žamžickas: A♦K♦
Pucurs didn’t manage to suck out as the board spelled out 8♥6♣5♣6♥2♠. Žamžickas doubled up which made a big dent i Pucurs’ stack.
Nerius Rutkauskas continued his aggressive manor as he opened to 60,000 from the hi-jack. Lukas Kviecinskas called from the small blind before Ernestas Taunys went all in from the big blind for 440,000.
Rutkauskas called Taunys’ shove, and then Kviecinskas moved all in for 1,200,000 in a heartbeat. Rutkauskas folded and the blinds went to showdown.
Ernestas Taunys: A♠10♥ Lukas Kviecinskas: K♠K♦
“One time”, Taunys said as the flop came 7♠2♥7♣. “One time!”, he yelled in sheer joy as turn came A♦. Then, he couldn’t believe it when he saw K♣ fall on the river. He collected his €3,290 paycheck as Kviecinskas became the chip leader.
Nerius Rutkauskas has been quite aggressive during the start of the final table. From UTG+1, he opened to 60,000 and then called a 145,000 3-bet from Lukas Kviecinskas, seated in the hi-jack.
The flop came A♣3♦6♦, and Rutkauskas check-called an 80,000 bet from Kviecinskas. On the 10♣ turn, Rutkauskas now led out for 100,000. Kviecinskas called pretty quickly. Action went check-check on the river 2♣.
Nerius Rutkauskas was the first to show and revealed A♥10♦ for two-pair. Kviecinskas mucked as Rutkauskas collected the chips.
Raivis Pucurs opened to 55,000 from the cut-off. The only caller was Egidijus Liutkevičius from the big blind and the players were treated with a K♣3♣6♣ flop. Liutkevičius checked, Pucurs bet 75,000 and Liutkevičius made the call.
Both players checked the J♣. When 8♦, Liutkevičius bet 75,000 as fast as humanly possible. Then, Pucurs decided to raise to 250,000. Liutkevičius wasted little time going all in for roughly 600,000 and Pucurs folded after just a couple of seconds.

Liutkevičius won the battle of the Egidijus’, as the board ran out A♣4♦Q♥3♥7♦. As Oleinik went to collect his €2,770 paycheck, the remaining 9 players got ready for a final table photo. They will return at 14:00. Poker.pro will get back with chip counts and seat draw as fast as possible.
Vilius Žamžickas went all in from UTG for 205,000. Action folded to Nerius Rutkauskas in the big blind who made the call.
Vilius Žamžickas: A♣K♠ Nerius Rutkauskas: J♥10♥
Žamžickas survived as the board ran out 3♠2♥Q♠5♠6♠. He doubled his stack and the 10 players are continuing to play hand-by-hand, all of them hungry for a place at the 9-handed final table.
Vilius Zabarauskas committed 130,000 out of his 140,000-stack to a pre-flop raise from UTG+1. Ernestas Taunys made the call.
With just 10,000 left, Zabarauskas went all in on the A♠10♠9♠ flop. Taunys recieved the odds to make the call.
Vilius Zabarauskas: A♦J♣ Ernestas Taunys: K♣Q♥
Zabarauskas was in the lead, but that would change as the board completed A♠10♠9♠Q♦Q♠. Taunys eliminated Zabarauskas who went to collect his €2,770 paycheck.
Ernestas Taunys opened to 55,000 from under the gun. Lukas Kviecinskas called from the cut-off, prior to Paal Vermundsdammen going all in from the button for 650,000. Taunys folded and Kviecinskas made the call as quick as humanly possible.
Paal Vermundsdammen: K♠K♣ Lukas Kviecinskas: A♠A♦
A brutal setup for Vermundsdammen; as the board ran out Q♠9♥4♠10♦A♥, his Main Event adventure came to an end.
Rasmus Sihvonen opened to 40,000 from the hi-jack on the 6-handed table. Raivis Pucurs called from the small blind and Lukas Kviecinskas also joined the party from the big blind.
All three players checked the 4♣Q♥8♥ flop. On the 7♠ turn, Pucurs bet 50,000. Kviecinskas called whilst Sihvonen got out of the way.
The river was the K♣ and Pucurs now bet 100,000. Kviecinskas called and Pucurs didn’t seem too happy.
Raivis Pucurs: J♠10♠ Lukas Kviecinskas: J♥2♥
Kviecinskas had attempt,ed a hero call but just came up short. Kviecinskas most likely didn’t bet for value on the river but in the end, the pot went his way.
Norwegian Paal Vermundsdammen came into Day 3 as the short stack. From the cut-off he went all in for 120,000. Rasmus Sihvonen raised from the button and successfully isolated the blinds; he went to showdown against Vermundsdammen.
Paal Vermundsdammen: A♠Q♠ Rasmus Sihvonen: J♥J♦
10♠5♠4♠ was not a bad flop for Vermundsdammen. The full board spelled out 10♠5♠4♠8♦9♠ and he doubled up early.

During the very last hand, Rasmus Sihvonen opened to 35,000 from UTG. Jonikas Vygerdas (hi-jack) and Aklilu Laitinen (button) both called, before Lukas Kviecinskas made it 150,000 from the small blind. Laitinen was the sole caller.
Kviecinskas wasted little time and forced Laitinen all in for 400,000 on the 8♣6♣2♠ flop. Laitinen mucked his hand, securing his Day 3 spot. While the dealer pushed all the chips the way of Kviecinskas, the winning player revealed A♠A♣.
Poker.pro will be back as soon as possible with seat draw and chip counts for Day 3, as well as a shorter wrap-up of Day 2. Make sure to be with us tomorrow at 12:00 when we’ll follow the Main Event until a winner is crowned!
Dalius Ulevičius and Darius Liesis both hit the rail in succession in 14th and 15th places respectively for €2,150. The final dirty dozen each locked up a haul of €2,420 with hopes of advancing to a win during tomorrow’s final day.
Vygerdas Jonikas opened to 31,000 from the lo-jack. When it came around to Darius Liesis, he moved all in for 340,000 from the small blind. After recieving the count, Jonikas called.
Vygerdas Jonikas: A♠K♥ Darius Liesis: J♠J♦
Fortunate 8♥3♣A♥3♦2♠ board for Jonikas, as he eliminated Liesis in 15th place. Shortly thereafter on the other table, Dalius Ulevičius busted in 14th. Liesis and Ulevičius both recieved €2,150.
Vygerdas Jonikas: 1,000,000 Darius Liesis: 0 Dalius Ulevičius: 0
United Kingdom’s Gordan Goodall and Lithuania’s Marijus Dirgela cashed for €1,910 in the Main Event. Goodall arrived a few nights ago with his friend Ian Morris, who not only won a trophy earlier this week, but also had a deep run himself in the Main Event finishing in 22nd place for €1,550. The final 15 players each locked up at least a €2,150 payout in the Main Event with time ticking away on Saturday’s penultimate day.
As Marijus Dirgela was eliminated in 17th place and collected his €1,910 paycheck, the final 16 players now have moved down to two tables. Roughly 40 minutes of play remain for Day 2.
There were 610,000 in the middle, and the board read 8♦10♠3♠7♥Q♦. Aklilu Laitinen was faced with a 210,000 all in-bet from Nerius Rutkauskas. Eventually, he made the call.
Nerius Rutkauskas: A♦Q♥ Aklilu Laitinen: A♣8♣
A queen on the river meaning Rutkauskas now has more than one million in chips.
As the final level of Day 2 has commenced, Aurimas Stanevičius has busted in 18th place for €1,710. The WSOP Circuit-winner can be pleased with his performance and he’s been showcasing some great poker skills all throughout the tournament.
Aurimas Stanevičius, Kasparas Drazdauskas, and Raivo Grislis all ended their run in the main event in 18th to 20th place for €1,710. At least one of this trio is still playing but virtually, as Grislis was noticed in the €150 OlyBet Vilnius Showdown Online Progressive Bounty.
A short-stacked Kasparas Drazdauskas had 25,000 in chips, having already committed half of his ownings to the big blind and ante. He faced an under the gun-opening from Gordon Goodall and decided to go for it.
Gordon Goodall: 6♥6♦ Kasparas Drazdauskas: Q♥10♦
The only thing we know about the runout is that it didnt’ feature a queen or a ten. Drazdauskas fought well in the tournament and was praised by Goodall who’s sitting at a healty stack.
Vilius Zabarauskas opened to 25,000 from the button. Egidijus Liutkevičius went all in from the small blind and after Aklilu Laitinen got out of the way, Zabarauskas called with Liutkevičius being the player at risk.
Ernestas Taunys opened to 25,000 from the cut-off. Aurimas Stanevičius called from the button and the two of them were treated with a flop.
Taunys checked the 6♣7♥2♠ flop before Stanevičius bet 27,000. Taunys called which brought the turn 4♣. Taunys once again checked and Stanevičius this time sized up to 82,000, enough to make Taunys fold.
Nerius Rutkauskas led the way at the break over the final 20 players in the field with 1.241 million in chips. Meanwhile, Latvia’s Raivis Pucurs was also a chip millionaire at the break with 1.189 million.
Check out the full chip counts from the final 20 players below:
While the remaining 20 players are on their last 15-minute break for the day, the staff are doing full chip counts. Poker.pro will update the chip counts in the live blog as soon as possible.
2 more 60-minute levels will be played before Day 2 is over.
Finland’s Jari Mahonen and Ian Morris both will go home with trophies from side event victories earlier in the week. They earned a €1,550 prize alongside Lithuania’s Aurimas Bagdonas for finishing in 21st to 23rd place.
The blinds are high and you can tell there’s been some short-stacked players; in just a matter of minutes Mindaugas Simkus, Aurimas Bagdonas, Ian Morris, and Jari Mähönen all busted.
At table 2, Raivis Pucurs opened to 25,000 from UTG+1. Darius Liesis decided to defend his big blind and the 2 were heads-up to the flop.
On Q♣10♦6♦, Liesis check-called 25,000 from Pucurs. Action repeated itself on the 10♣, only difference was that the sizing from Pucurs this time was 50,000.
Liesis checked for a third time when the 5♦ fell on the river. Pucurs wasn’t afraid of a flush; he bet 125,000 and Liesis cards hit the much fairly quickly.
Mindaugas Simkus, Paulius Zakas, €350 Deepstack champion Steinn Thanh Du Karlsson, and Aleksandr Naumov all hit the rail in 25th to 27th places to earn a €1,420 pay slip.
The remaining two dozen players each locked up at least €1,550 with plenty of more to come.
A short-stacked Aleksandr Naumov moved all in for 35,000 UTG. Action folded to Ian Morris who called from the big blind.
Aleksandr Naumov: A♥6♦ Ian Morris: 10♣2♥
The Doyle Brunson-hand didn’t suck out as the board ran out in Naumov’s favour. Just before this hand, Deividas Peleckas busted from the tournament, collecting €1,300.
The field is becoming more international by the minute as the first seven players to hit the rail in the money were from the home country of Lithuania. Deividas Peleckas, Ričardas Bartašius, trappist and friend of poker.pro Dominykas “OG Version” Jezerys, and Arminas Skardžius were the four players to cash for €1,300 with the final 27 players locking in at least a €1,420 payout.
From the cut-off, Ričardas Bartašius moved all in for 125,000. Darius Liesis isolated the blinds and he met Bartašius at showdown.
Ričardas Bartašius: A♣J♠ Darius Liesis: K♥K♠
Liesis didn’t need to improve, but the board ran out 5♥J♦K♦7♣5♣ – he flopped a set for good measure, while Bartašius left the table to collect €1,300 for his 29th place finish.
A trio of Lithuanias were the first on the rail for a min-cash of €1,190 in Jurgis Beinoras, Audrius Navickas, and Robertas Jasnauskas. The final 31 players each earned a pay jump to an at least €1,300 payout.
In a blind vs blind scenario, Aklilu Laitinen and Marijus Dirgela clashed all in. Dirgela was the player at risk with 136,000 in his stack.
Aklilu Laitinen: A♥Q♥ Marijus Dirgela: 10♠10♥
A bad start but a good finish for Dirgela as the board spelled out A♣3♦6♣10♣7♠. He’s still alive in the main event. However, that is not the case for Robertas Jasnauskas, who was the first player to collect a paycheck.
After a classic coinflip situation, the bubble has now burst in the tournament.
Rasmus Sihvonen opened to 16,000 from the cut-off. From the button, Vasilijus Piskunovas raised to 60,000 – leaving himself only 43,000 behind. Action was folded back to Sihvonen who forced Piskunovas all in. Piskunovas called in a heartbeat.
Tension in the air as the dealer slowly dealt out the 3♣8♠K♦9♠4♠ board. The 2 players shaked hands in a very respectful manor; Piskunovas left the tournament area and the remaining 34 players are now in the money, guaranteed a €1,190 min-cash.
The action is on the money bubble at the dinner break. While all 35 players have the opportunity to fill their bellies, and 34 will feel satisified with one of these players going home without a Main Event payout slip.
Latvia’s Raivis Pucurs led the way with 762,000 with the Lithuania duo Nerius Rutkauskas (534,000) and Dalius Ulevičius (451,000) as his closest competitors.
Meanwhile, last break’s chip leader Rasmus Sihvonen (370,000), the first break chip leader Lukas Kviecinskas (264,000) still have healthy stacks while the start-of-the day chip leader Marius Verikas was on the rail a few levels ago.
Check out the full chip counts of the final 35 players in the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker Main Event.
Despite a handful all ins, the bubble didn’t burst prior to the dinner break. The 35 remaining players will return in 45 minutes, hopefully fueled up.
On the second to last hand before the break, Aurimas Stanevičius – who poker.pro interviewed earlier – raised to 15,000 from the button. In the big blind, Marijus Dirgela forced Stanevičius all in for 67,000 in total. Stanevičius made the call.
Marijus Dirgela: K♥J♥ Aurimas Stanevičius: A♠A♣
Aces on the bubble for Stanevičius who managed to dodge a flush on the 2♠7♦5♥Q♥9♣ board.
Vilius Zabarauskas raised to 15,000 from UTG+1. Action was folded to big stack Raivis Pucurs who forced Zabarauskas all in for 103,000. Zabarauskas made the call.
Raivis Pucurs: A♦J♠ Vilius Zabarauskas: K♥K♠
Zabarauskas let out a sigh of relief after the board completed 9♣2♠10♥4♣J♦. The bubble-play goes on!
Vilius Zabarauskas opened to 12,000 from UTG, and Tadas Šimas called from UTG+1. When action came to Raivis Pucurs in the small blind, he raised to 43,000. Zabarauskas got out of the way, but Šimas went all in for 95,000. Pucurs made the call.
Tadas Šimas: A♥Q♠ Raivis Pucurs: Q♣9♠
Šimas wasn’t too pleased with the 9♦A♦7♠9♣J♦ runout. He busted in 37th place as Pucurs’ stack soars to the top.
Marko Hynynen went all in for 34,000 and got called by Jurgis Beinoras who had him covered.
Marko Hynynen: 10♠10♣ Jurgis Beinoras: J♥J♦
The board ran out 7♦2♥8♦Q♣K♥ meaning Hynynen busted in 39th. There’s now only 3 players waving the Finnish flag remaining in the tournament: Jari Mähönen, Aklilu Laitinen, and Rasmus Sihvonen.
During the last few hands Paulius Kostickis, Jaroslav Filipov, Vadims Milovs and Darius Kvedaras all busted, taking the number of players still alive in the Main Event down to 39. In other words, only 3 more players will go out before the remaining warriors are in the money.
Darius Liesis opened to 11,000 from early position. It was folded to Andrius Mažeika in the big blind who went all in for 60,000. It was an easy call for Liesis.
Andrius Mažeika: A♣Q♦ Darius Liesis: A♦K♣
No queen on the J♦4♠2♣7♠6♠ board which meant Mažeika had to leave in 44th place. Prior to him, Aivaras Kerušauskas and Jonas Lapinskas also busted.
Lithuania’s Lukas Kviecinskas, who held the chip lead as of the last break, is just a blind behind with 418,000 with Darius Liesis (350,000), Aklilu Laitinen (340,000), and Darius Kvedaras (333,000) in the top five as well. Check out some of the biggest stacks of the room below:
The second 15-minute break of Day 2 just started. Just minutes before the last hand was dealt Tomas Bassus, Bartosz Gorski, and Augustas Bareiša bust from the tournament, which means the total number of players in right now is at 46.
One who’s not out of the tournament though is Aurimas Stanevičius. The Lithuanian came to OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker with a lot of confidence; at the end of 2024, he won the €1,100 Kings of Vilnius Main Event for €61,455. During the first minutes of the break, this reporter, Christoffer Karlén, had a small chat with Stanevičius.
Stanevičius recognizes the heater but shared he hasn’t changed much other than high confidence and consistency.
“I think so, I’ve been in really good shape recently,” shared Stanevičius about his recent amazing run. “I haven’t been doing anything differently but I’m playing with much confidence; I’ve been playing good consistently and now I’m harvesting the fruits.”
Stanevičius had a deep run two days ago in the €1,100 High Roller but eventually bowed out in 10th place for €2,550 on the final table bubble. Regardless, his love of OlyBet events in the Baltics including the 2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker always shines.
“It’s awesome,” Stanevičius said about the Vilnius Ace Breaker. “I always love playing the OlyBet events in Vilnius, Tallinn, etc. They are my favourite events!”
Meanwhile, Stanevičius is alive and well with the money bubble approaching with 150,000 in chips on his third bullet of the event. Will the trifecta of OlyBet Main Event titles be completed in less than a year? There is still a long way to go, but one thing we won’t do is ever count Stanevičius out as long as he has chips.
Aurimas Stanevičius also won the €1,500 WSOPC Tallinn 2024 Main Event.
There’s no exaggeration that Stanevičius came to Vilnius with a lot of confidence. When asked if there’s been any memorable hand during the week, he recalls a spot in the €1,100 High Roller where I called down a tripple-barrel bluff with king high and winning at showdown. Stanevičius knows what he’s doing at the poker table and he has another poker trip coming up soon to Cambodia.
Thanks to Aurimas Stanevičius for the chat, and we wish him good luck in the tournament!
As the 45 minute dinner break is approaching, 49 players are currently alive in the tournament. The 5 players who most recently hit the rail were Arūnas Kontautas, Matas Budginas, Edvinas Grimalis, Ofir Yakim, and Vytautas Kačerauskas.
Aurelijus Sipavičius went all in for 46,000 from the lo-jack. Action was folded to Mindaugas Simkus in the big blind; he looked down on his 2 cards and called as fast as he could.
Aurelijus Sipavičius: 5♥5♠ Mindaugas Simkus: Q♥Q♣
The board ran out 6♣10♣J♥2♥10♦ and Sipavičius had been eliminated in 57th place. Before him, Sergejs Piratovs and Vincas Tamasauskas also had seen their tournament life come to an end.
Prior to this hand Virginijus Lapėnas, Michailas Miserkejevas, Aki Pyysing, Sarunas Leonavicius, Serhii Leonov, Aleksandras Rusinovas, Grzegorz Zimnoch, Tal Shani, Elvinas Vitkevicius, Edgaras Truskauskas, Dominykas Rimkevičius, and Modestas Kryžanauskas had to bid farewell from the tournament.
From UTG+1, Vasilijus Piskunovas opened to 6,000. To his left, Jonas Lapinskas raised to 12,000. Piskunovas 4-bet to 24,000 and Lapinskas made the call.
Piskunovas was first to act on the 2♠8♦10♦ flop and went all in for 45,000. After recieving the count, Lapinskas made the call.
Vasilijus Piskunovas: A♣J♦ Jonas Lapinskas: 9♥9♠
Lapinskas had Piskunovas in rough shape, but the runout 2♠8♦10♦A♦3♣ saw Piskunovas doubling up.
Prior to this hand, Alexey Mishuk busted out from the tournament in 73rd place.
Jonas Lapinskas: 240,000 Vasilijus Piskunovas: 130,000
Since late registration closed Andrius Mazurkevicius, Kęstutis Jungevičius, Jevgenijs Sapronenko, Alenas Pelegrimas, Mindaugas Murauskas, Marius Verikas, Arūnas Garunkštis, and Mantas Urbonas all have been eliminated from the tournament.
After late registration has closed and the prize pool has reached an impressive €140,600, reigning champion Aurimas Stanevičius is still in the mix.
He opened to 6,000 from early position and Marius Verikas proceeded to go all in for 42,000. Everyone else at the table folded and when action came back to Stanevičius, he made the call in an instant.
Marius Verikas: 9♣9♦ Aurimas Stanevičius: A♥K♠
The board J♣K♣5♠6♠J♥ favored Stanevičius who is a very serious contender for the Main Event title.
The 2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker €555 Main Event attracted 296 entries to create a €140,600 prize pool. The top 34 players will go home with at least a €1,190 min-cash for more than double the buy-in, while Sunday’s winner is slated to earn a whopping €28,760.
Best of luck to all of the remaining players and check out the full payouts below:
Lukas Kviecinskas was the only player over 300,000 at break and he is closer to 400,000 with a stack of 375,000. Check out the chip counts of some of the bigger stacks from around the room.
The 2 first 60-minute levels of today have been played, and the players are now on a 15-minute break. After this break, late registration will be over.
Poker.pro will soon return with the biggest stacks, as well as payouts.
Jonas Lapinskas was seated in the cut-off when he decided to open to 6,500. Dmytro Bryndzya decided to call from the button, and the blinds folded.
Lapinskas continued the aggression on the 10♥8♦9♣ flop firing a 5,500 bet. Bryndzya called and the turn brought the 2♦. Lapinskas didn’t slow down; he put out 12,500 and was once again called by Bryndza.
The river was the Q♣ and Lapinskas sized down, betting 6,000. Bryndza took his time, and then, he raised to 26,000. This move seemed to catch Lapinskas off guard; he leaned back in his chair and contemplated for roughly 2 minutes before he decided to let his cards hit the muck.
Grzegorz Zimnoch made it 5,500 from the lo-jack. From the cut-off, Dominykas Rimkevičius raised to 11,000. Zimnoch was having none of it and pumped it back to 24,500. Rimkevičius called.
The flop came J♠4♣Q♦ and Zimnoch bet 26,500 into the 56,000 already in the middle. Rimkevičius folded and Zimnoch collected the pot.
Grzegorz Zimnoch: 155,000 Dominykas Rimkevičius: 140,000
Under the gun, Algis Griškevičius went all in for not much more than 8,000. Nerius Rutkauskas called from the button, and Vasilijus Piskunovas decided to call from the big blind.
Rutkauskas fired a continuation bet on the 10♥Q♠9♠ flop. Piskunovas got out of the way; Rutkauskas and Griškevičius went to showdown.
Nerius Rutkauskas: A♦Q♣ Algis Griškevičius: K♦6♦
No help from Griškevičius as the board completed 3♣Q♥. Rutkauskas had a top 5 stack entering Day 2 and he just keeps winning chips.
From the hi-jack, Dominykas Chrypa went all in for 22,000. Action folded to Charles Goodall who went all in himself for 89,000. From the big blind, Serhii Leonov couldn’t have called any faster.
Dominykas Chrypa: Q♥J♠ Charles Goodall: 10♦10♠ Serhii Leonov: A♥A♠
Quite the rollercoaster on the A♦Q♠K♠10♣5♣ runout, which saw Chrypa taking home the bigger main pot.
Dominykas Chrypa: 73,000 Serhii Leonov: 40,000 Charles Goodall: 32,000
From the lo-jack, Egidijus Oleinik min-raised to 4,000. Aleksandras Rusinovas and Vitalijus Briazkala called from the small- and big blind.
The flop came 7♠6♣8♣. Rusinovas and Briazkala checked this fairly wet board prior to Oleinik betting 4,500. Rusinovas folded but Briazkala decided to stick around.
On the turn 10♥, Briazkala check-called a 7,000 bet from Oleinik. Both players decided to check the 2♣ river.
Vitalijus Briazkala: 7♦5♣ Egidijus Oleinik: A♠9♠
Oleinik got the better of Briazkala and he’s off to a decent start in Day 2.
The players have taken their seats, the Day 1-advancers have opened their bags, and a handful of new players have justregistered.
The first level of the day has the same blinds as the last level for the Day 1 flights. Play will end after 10 levels today, or when a final table is reached.
After 3 Day 1-flights, it’s time for Day 2 of the €555 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker Main Event.
There’s been some good poker at Olympic Casino Vilnius during the last couple of days, and 99 players have advanced to Day 2 which kicks off today at 12:00. The prize pool currently sits at a staggering €125,280, and this will continue to grow; late registration is open until after the first break for the first two blind levels of Day 2.

Payouts will, of course, be announced after late registration is over. Leading the field going in to Day 2 is Marius Verikas. Together with his 265,000 chip stack, the Lithuanian will do everything in his power to get his biggest career title. The competition is tough though and there are many well-respected poker players still in the mix.

Our team at poker.pro will be with you all throughout Day 2, delivering live updates. Make sure to tune in to the live blog frequently to get all the latest updates!
Day 1c attracted a tidy field of 30 entries to grow the total field size to 261 entries for a €123,975 prize pool and counting. Late registration will remain open to start Day 2.
Despite the small field, one player shined above the rest in Marius Verikas, who absolutely crushed the final opening flight to take the overall chip lead from Day 1a chip leader Rasmus Sihvonen with 227,500 after bagging up a whopping 265,000 from his opening stack of 30,000 to lead the 99 total survivors. Check out all of the Day 1c chip counts below and be sure to return tomorrow when Christoffer Karlen is back on the floor reporting the blow-by-blow coverage at poker.pro.
The last hand in Day 1b of the €555 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker Main Event has been played, and the 33 survivors are now bagging their chips for Day 2, which starts tomorrow (February 1) at 12:00.
They’ll be accompanied by the 49 Day 1a-advancers, those who moves on from tonight’s Day 1c, and those who choose to buy in during the first 2 levels tomorrow.
The PokerPro crew will work as fast as they can to get the chip counts from Day 1b published; re-visit the live blog in about an hour!
Day 1a witnessed a healthy field of 138 entries to add €66,240 to the prize pool with still two opening flights to go on Friday and late entry available until the end of the first break on Saturday’s Day 2.
Finland’s Rasmus Sihvonen led the 49 survivors after parlaying his 30,000 opening stack into 227,500 after 12 blind levels of 40 minutes each. Latvia’s Raivis Pucurs, who has been grinding all week for a trophy, finished in second place with 202,000 with Lithuania’s Vilius Žamžickas (170,000), countrymate Darius Kvedaras (158,000), and Latvia’s Vadims Milovs (154,000) rounding out the top five.

Kęstutis Jungevičius attempted to limp from the button, but Marko Hynynen put in a raise to 6,000 from the small blind. The big blind folded and when it was back to Jungevičius, he decided to call.
Both players checked the 2♣4♣5♦ flop. When the 8♥ fell on the turn, Hynynen bet 8,000 and was called by Jungevičius.
On the river 6♦, Hynynen checked prior to Jungevičius betting 15,500. Hynynen made the call.
Kęstutis Jungevičius: J♥6♥ Marko Hynynen: Q♠Q♦
The queens awarded Hynynen the pot who’s building a stack to bag for Day 2.
Marko Hynynen: 80,000 Kęstutis Jungevičius: 64,000
It’s the last 20 minutes of Day 1b and players are busting out left and right.
Serhii Leonov opened to 5,000 from under the gun and was called by Andris Rasins in the cut-off. Action folded to Ernestas Taunys who went all in for 15,000 from the big blind. Leonov re-raised all in for another 40,000, enough to make Rasins get out of the way.
Ernestas Taunys: A♠7♥ Serhii Leonov: 10♥10♣
No fortune for Taunys on the Q♦6♥4♥6♠Q♣ runout and his second bullet in the Main Event came to an end.
Cut-off player Edgaras Truskauskas found himself all in for 40,000 against Arūnas Kontautas who was seated on the button.
Edgaras Truskauskas: 10♦10♣ Arūnas Kontautas: A♦J♦
Truskauskas clapped his hand in disappointment when he saw the 2♥7♠5♣A♥J♠ runout. The dealer pushed the chips the way of Kontautas whos stack is starting to look really impressive.
As Day 1b of the Main Event is entering its last level, Day 1c has just begun. The structure is the same as for 1a and 1b, the only difference being that the levels are 25 minutes long.
The prize pool has reached €116,850 and will continue to grow until late registration closes after Level 14, i.e. the second level of Day 2.
The blinds are getting high and the pressure is on in Day 1b. Most recently, Linas Jautakis, Tomas Muraška, Mattias Andersson, Martynas Račinskas, Jakub Kutyš, Valdemaras Apolianskas, Ramūnas Pocevičius, Kasparas Drazdauskas, Ernestas Stalemekas, and Martins Priede were eliminated from the tournament (but once again, they have the chance to re-enter if they desire).
Level 10 has finished and the players can enjoy a 10-minute break before the last 2 levels of the day will commence. These are 5 of the biggest stacks in the room right now:
Action was folded to Marko Hynynen in the small blind who raised to 3,600. Valdemaras Apolianskas saw his opportunity from the big blind and went all in for 21,000. To his surprise, Hynynen called him off in a heartbeat.
Marko Hynynen: K♠K♣ Valdemaras Apolianskas: 9♥9♦
No help for Apolianskas on the 4♥7♠3♦8♣Q♦ runout and his bullet came to an end, seeing as Hynynen had him covered.
From the cut-off, Tomas Muraška made it 2,500. Vitalijus Briazkala called from the small blind before Jonikas Vygerdas decided to make it 15,000 from the big blind.
After some consideration, Muraška went all in for 49,000. Briazkala folded and Vygerdas called as fast as physically possible.
Tomas Muraška: J♥J♠ Jonikas Vygerdas: A♣K♥
A classic encounter which this time went the way of Vygerdas, seeing as the board spelled out A♠10♥5♥Q♥7♠. Muraška bid farewell to the table, seeing as Vygerdas had him covered with roughly 20,000.
Linas Jautakis is one of the 55 players currently in Day 1b of the Main Event. Given his success here throughout the years, Jautakis is presumably comfortable at Olympic Casino Vilnius.
At the OlyBet Showdown Vilnius in the summer of 2023, Jautakis won the €1,100 High Roller for €18,880. This is the second-best cash for Jautakis; in 2021, he won the €250 Betsafe Fisherman Challenge Main Event for €41,160.
To top it off, Jautakis seems to be in great form, considering his latest three Hendon Mob scores are all first-place finishes.
Jautakis is one of many great players left in the field. The quality of poker is high at Olympic Casino Vilnius, and the atmosphere is electrifying!
Rolandas Aglinskas raised to 2,000 under the gun. He got called by Egidijus Liutkevičius from the cut-off, and big blind-player Paulius Kostickis also joined the party.
On the K♠2♠9♥ flop, Kostickis checked prior to Aglinskas betting 2,500. Liutkevičius called, but Kostickis threw his cards into the muck.
Turn was the 8♠ and Aglinskas continued the 2,500 betting trend. Liutkevičius called once again and the players were introduced to the Q♦ on the river.
Aglinskas now checked and Liutkevičius was the one betting – you guessed it – 2,500. Aglinskas called and Liutkevičius turned over K♦K♥. Top set was enough and Liutkevičius won a decent pot.
Grigorij Rudnik opened to 1,700 from the hi-jack. To the left of him, Aki Pyysing raised to 5,100. The other players on the table folded before Rudnik made the call.
The flop came A♣7♥4♦ and Rudnik check-called a 2,100 continuation bet from Pyysing. On the turn 9♦ Pyysing bet 4,000. Rudnik went all in for roughly 25,000 and Pyysing called as quickly as humanly possible.
Grigorij Rudnik: A♥3♥ Aki Pyysing: A♠K♥
The river was a brick; Rudnik’s tournament life came to an end, while Pyysing’s already impressive stack became even bigger.
At table 2, th flop was J♥3♣4♠ and there was roughly 90,000 in the middle. The tournament director told us that after some raising back and forth pre-flop, Ernestas Stalemekas had moved all in for 27,100 and got called by both Rolandas Aglinskas and Lukas Sivaskovas.
Sivaskovas and Aglinskas checked the flop, and the action repeated itself on the J♠ turn. On the river 6♠ however, Sivakovas bet 25,000 and Aglinskas called.
The prize pool for the €555 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker Main Event has officially surpassed €100,000 – and it will grow even bigger! Recent casualties are Aklilu Laitinen, Tomas Muraška, Matas Budginas, Justinas Adomauskas, Andrius Mazurkevicius, Tal Shani, Arūnas Kontautas, Donatas Pilinkus, and Augustas Bareiša.
Keep in mind though, the tournament has the unlimited re-entry option!
From the lo-jack, Ramūnas Pocevičius opened to 1,100. Alenas Pelegrimas, Charles Goodall, Ignas Lasauskas and Linas Jautakis all decided to call.
On the flop Q♦6♠2♠, it was checked to Pelegrimas who bet 3,500. Goodall and Jautakis called.
The turn brought the 8♥. Jautakis checked prior to Pelegrimas betting 7,300. Goodall threw is right hand up in the air as a “what is going on”-gesture, before announcing all in for 35,500. Jautakis got out of the way but Pelegrimas, after a minute’s consideration, made the call.
Charles Goodall: K♦Q♠ Alenas Pelegrimas: A♦Q♣
No magical king as the river fell 2♥. Goodall survived but the majority of his stack went the way of Pelegrimas.
At Table 6, Arūnas Kontautas and Ramūnas Pocevičius engaged in some pre-flop shenanigans before clashing all in. Pocevičius was the player at risk with 15,200 – 800 less than Kontautas.
Arūnas Kontautas: A♥K♣ Ramūnas Pocevičius: J♠J♣
The board ran out A♦J♥A♣9♦4♥ which brought quite the laughter to the table. Kontautas was left with crumbles.
On a 6♣6♥6♠K♣ board, there were 24,000 in the middle. In a blind-VS-blind battle, Matas Budginas continued being the aggressor and put in another 6,000. Edgaras Truskauskas wasn’t going anywhere, though, and he made the call.
The river was the 7♥, and Budginas now went all-in for 14,000. This move sent Truskauskas into the tank; he only had 18,000 left himself, and this could’ve been the biggest pot of the tournament so far.
After maybe 3 minutes, Truskauskas made the call.
Matas Budginas: A♥Q♣ Edgaras Truskauskas: 2♥2♦
Truskauskas was visibly pleased with his call. As he collected the chips, Budginas left the tournament area. Prior to him, Povilas Astašauskas had become the first person to bust out from the tournament.
There’s been nu bust-out so far, but the all in-triangle has been put on the felt a couple of times.
With 14,000 in the middle, the board read Q♣8♣10♣9♦10♠. Valdemaras Apolianskas went all in for 12,000. Povilas Astašauskas folded before Rolandas Aglinskas decided to make the call.
One can understand the thought process of Aglinskas, blocking the nut flush. This time however, the pot went the way of Apolinskas leaving Aglinskas fairly short-stacked.
The board read J♣8♣10♠4♠J♦ and there were 7,500 in the middle. Mantas Urbonas bet 6,500 and Donatas Pilinkus was visibly uncomfortable with Urbonas’ move. After a minute’s consideration, Pilinkus called.
Urbonas turned over A♦J♠ for three-of-a-kind with top kicker. Pilinkus looked at his hand for a good 15 seconds; he revealed the J♥ before mucking his hand.
Ridas Bitauskas raised to 800 from the hi-jack. Grigorij Rudnik (cut-off)and Justinas Adomauskas (big blind) both called.
Adomauskas checked the 8♠4♠J♦ flop prior to Bitauskas betting 1,100. Rudnik quickly raised to 2,700. This caused Adomauskas to fold, while Bitauskas decided to call.
Both players checked the J♣ turn, and Bitauskas continued the passive line as he also checked on the 7♥ river. Rudnik bet 2,000 and Bitauskas called.
Rudnik turned over Q♠Q♦; a pair of queens was obviously enough to win the hand seeing as Bitauskas mucked his hand.
As of the first break, none of the 44 players are yet out from the tournament. While the players enjoyed their break away from the tables, this PokerPro reporter did his best identifying the top 5 stacks in the room.

The players will return to Level 4; 100/300 (300).
The full board reveals 3♥6♣5♦6♦4♦ when there’s 14,000 in the middle. Edgaras Truskauskas fired a 6,600 bet which seemed to have Ernestas Stalemekas somewhat confused. After some consideration, Stalemekas did make the call.
Truskauskas turned over K♦2♦ for a flush and Stalemekas mucked his hand.
The full board read 6♥Q♥J♦8♣J♠ when Justinas Adomauskas bet 6,000 into the 4,000 pot. Mantas Meskevicius leaned back in his chair and scratched his chin for a minute or two before making the call.
From UTG+1, Simonas Juocys raised to 400. He was called by Dominykas Rimkevičius from the button, before Augustas Bareiša raised to 1,500. Tal Shani called from the big blind and so did Juocys and Rimkevičius.
The flop came 9♣3♠A♠ and Bareiša led out for 2,000. Shani called and the rest of the players decided it was time to get out of the way.
The turn brought the 4♦. Bareiša didn’t slow down and fired a 6,000 bet. This was enough to make Shani fold.
As Day 1b of the €555 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker Main Event progresses, one must not forget that’s much more fun going on at the Olympic Casino Lithuania. The full schedule for today looks as follows:

Naturally, the majority of the tournament fields during OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker are from Lithuania, but there are several other nations being represented. At Table 4, for instance, Sweden’s Mattias Andersson and the Norwegian Paal Vermundsdammen are seated next to eachother.
Andersson just raised to 300 from the hi-jack and got called by Egidijus Liutkevičius from the button, and by Mantas Urbonas who was the big blind.
Urbonas checked over to Andersson on the J♦8♥7♣ flop, and the Swede bet 600. Liutkevičius called and Urbonas folded.
The turn was the 4♦ and Andersson now bet 1,500. Liutkevičius made the call almost instantly. The river brought the 3♠ and Andersson fired a 3,000 bet. Again, Liutkevičius called as quickly as possible.
Typically, there aren’t too many vital hands during the earlier stages of a tournament. The action will of course pick up the deeper into Day 1B the players get.
Mantas Urbonas opened to 300 from the cut-off and Mantas Meskevicius defended his big blind. Both players checked the 2♠J♠3♣ flop. On the 6♠ turn, Meskevicius led out for 600 and was quickly called by Urbonas.
The river came 2♥ and Meskevicius now bet 700. Urbonas shuffled a chip in his hand for a couple of seconds before he made the call.
Mantas Meskevicius: K♦10♠ Mantas Urbonas: Q♦J♦
A pair of jacks was enough for Urbonas to take home the pot.
As more and more players keep entering Day 1B, there are some names that may be familiar.
Mantas Urbonas is seated at Table 4. The Lithuanian scored his biggest cash in 2018 when he came 4th in the €550 Battle of Malta Main Event, and he’s currently 28th on the Lithuania all time money list on Hendon Mob.
Ernestas Stalemekas finished 2nd in the €200 Olympic Spring Cup Main Event 2016, and he’s still looking for his first title on home soil.
Rolandas Aglinskas is also here seeking revenge from last year, when he finished 4th in the OlyBet Showdown Ace Breaker 2024 for €12,865.
The number of players keep going up by the minute and of course, there’ll be many more familiar names in the mix today.
It’s “shuffle up and deal” in the €555 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker Main Event! There are 9 participants from the get-go, but people can register all day.

Day 1C is a turbo flight; the same structure applies, the only difference being that the levels are 25 minutes in length.
PokerPro will be with you all throughout Day 1B, delivering updates from what is expected to be a thrilling day of live poker.
The last hand for Day 2 has been completed, and 13 strong survivors are currently bagging their chips. They will return tomorrow at 12:00 to play it out for glory, the trophy, and the first-place payout of €28,760.

2025 OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Ace Breaker Main Event Final Table
The start-of-the-day chip leader Lukas Kviecinskas has padded his lead and will kick off the final table with a cool 2 million in chips as the table captain. Lithuania’s Nerius Rutkauskas (1,560,000) and Raivis Pucurs (1,160,000) also will begin as chip millionaires. Check out the full seat draw below and best of luck to all of the players.
Egidijus Oleinik had 310,000 when he went all in from under the gun. When action came around to Egidijus Liutkevičius in the big blind, he made the call.
