With around 27,000 in the middle on a flop of 6♣6♦3♠, defending champion Rokas Skridulis led out with a bet of 7,000, and called a raise to 14,000 from Audrius Šiaulys.
On the 3♦ turn, Skridulis check-called a bet of 16,000 from Šiaulys.
The K♥ river completed the board, and Skridulis jammed with the covering stack. Šiaulys snap-called for hid remaining stack of 125,000.
Skridulis tabled A♦5♦, playing the board two pair after missing his flush draw, but Šiaulys had K♦K♣ for the full house.
Audrius Šiaulys – 348,000 Rokas Skridulis – 62,000

Albert Ostrovskij still tops the standings at the first break, with the top stacks as follows:-
Albert Ostrovskij – 532,000 Justas Vaiciulionis – 395,000 Sergej Babincev – 347,000 Stanislovas Viničenka – 345,000 Vadims Milovs – 332,500 Artūras Daukševič – 300,000 Tomas Kovalenka – 290,000
Late registration has now closed for the event, with the final figures reaching 121 entries, creating a €114,950 prize pool. Payout information will be confirmed as soon as it is available.
Start of Day 2 chip leader Albert Ostrovskij opened to 5,000 from the cutoff, and received calls from Matas Budginas on the button, and Adomas Juozapavičius in the big blind.
On the Q♥5♠3♠ flop, action checked to Ostrovskij, who continued with a bet of 5,500, which failed to shake off either of his opponents.
The 8♠ turn and 10♠ river were checked through, and Juozapavičius took the pot with Q♦J♥.
Adomas Juozapavičius – 285,000 Albert Ostrovskij – 450,000 Matas Budginas – 64,000
Martins Poritis opened to 6,000 under the gun, and received calls from Linas Leščiauskas in the next seat, and Kriss Riekstins in the big blind.
Action was checked to Poritis on the J♥10♠8♥ flop, who fired out a bet of 8,000, which only Leščiauskas called.
On the 9♥ turn, Poritis double-barreled with a bet of 31,000. Leščiauskas called, leaving himself only 5,500 behind.
The 9♥ hit on the river, and Poritis fired out a bet of 6,000. Leščiauskas quickly called off, and tabled A♠Q♥ for the one-card straight flush, while Poritis had Q♦Q♠ for the straight.
With around 56,000 in the middle on a board of Q♣10♥2♥8♦J♥, 2024 Kings of Vilnius Main Event champion Aurimas Stanevičius jammed for 35,000, sending Gytis Lazauninkas into the tank.
After around a minute, Lazauninkas flicked in a calling chip. Stanevičius tabled J♠J♦ for the rivered set of jacks, and after taking a bit of time to study the board, Lazauninkas mucked.
Teemu Salminen was all-in for 44,000 and at risk against Svajūnas Šeduikis.
Teemu Salminen: 3♠3♦ Svajūnas Šeduikis: Q♥Q♠
Salminen was crushed, and although he found a set on the turn, it proved to be irrelevant against his opponent’s flopped top set, the runout coming Q♦J♦9♥3♣5♠.
Aleksandrs Horjonoks opened to 6,000 from early position, and received a call from Martins Poritis in the cutoff, before WSOP bracelet winner Vincas Tamašauskas three-bet jammed from the button for 54,000.
Horjonoks folded, but Poritis made the call for his total stack of 50,000.
Martins Poritis: Q♦Q♠ Vincas Tamašauskas: K♠10♠
Poritis had set the trap with queens, and Tamašauskas was dead by the turn on the Q♥4♦3♣3♦A♣ runout.
“Nice flat”, acknowledged Tamašauskas, who continued, “I’m ahead of you all day”, gesturing to Horjonoks with a smile.
Martins Poritis – 111,000 Aleksandrs Horjonoks – 81,0000 Vincas Tamašauskas – 4,000
Adomas Juozapavičius opened to 4,000 from the hijack, and received a call from Kristaps Vismanis in the cutoff, before Viktors Caikins three-bet jammed from the button for 32,000.
Juozapavičius took some time to think before four-bet jamming for around 175,000, and Vismanis got out of the way.
Viktors Caikins: A♠J♠ Adomas Juozapavičius: 8♠8♣
It was off to the races, and Juozapavičius’ snowmen were not melted by the 4♣3♦2♣10♣K♠ runout.
Adomas Juozapavičius – 215,000 Kristaps Vismanis – 69,000 Viktors Caikins – 0
Matas Budginas opened to 4,000 from early position, and Romans Lihacovs defended the big blind.
On the K♥9♥6♦ flop, Lihacovs check-called in the face of a bet of 4,000 from Budginas.
The 4♦ turn was checked to the 2♣ river, where Lihacovs led out with a blocker bet of 2,000. Budginas called and tabled K♠7♠ for a pair of kings, and that was good versus Lihacovs 10♥6♦ for a pair of sixes.
After Paulius Kisielius sealed a maiden live title in the €555 NLH Championship yesterday, poker.pro‘s coverage of the 2026 Olybet Showdown Vilnius festival moves to the flagship tournament, the €1,100 Main Event.
We are picking up the action at the start of Day 2, from noon on May 15, after the completion of three starting flights. A total of 45 players qualified from 98 entrants, creating a €93,100 prize pool, but with late registration open until the start of Level 15, those numbers are sure to swell further.
Albert Ostrovskij of Lithuania (383,500) holds the chip lead at the start of play from Vadims Milovs of Latvia (325,500), while Artūras Daukševič of Lithuania (279,000) completes the podium places.
Ostrovskij has produced strong results in 2026, finishing sixth in the OlyBet Showdown Voodoo Spring Edition Main Event in Riga in March, and tenth in the OlyBet Showdown Main Event in Tallinn in April, and will no doubt be hoping to finally get his hands on an OlyBet Main Event trophy.
Milovs has total recorded cashes of $168,172, while his biggest score is a €40,000 payday for a runner-up finish at an event at EPT Berlin back in 2010. Daukševič has lifetime earnings of $115,513, and finished third in the OlyBet Showdown Vilnius Main Event in 2023. (All figures courtesy of The Hendon Mob)

The players will return to Level 13, with blinds of 1,000/2,000, with a 2,000 big blind ante. The clock is set to 60-minute levels, and Day 2 entrants will receive a starting stack of 50,000.
Late registration is open until the start of Level 15, and play will conclude in Day 2 after nine levels. The survivors will return to Olympic Casino, Lietuva, at noon on May 16 for the final day.
Stay tuned to poker.pro for your coverage of all the action from the 2026 Olybet Showdown Vilnius €1,100 Main Event.
Paulius Kisielius tasted the pain of a runner-up finish in the Kings of Vilnius Main Event in November 2025, and although the blow was softened by a career-best score of €47,630, secured after a heads-up deal with the eventual champion, Mantas Bagocius, the Lithuanian has nursed a burning desire to go one better since.
Today, Kisielius got his wish as he emerged as the last player standing in the 2026 Olybet Showdown Vilnius €555 NLH Championship, from a Day 3 field of nine, to finally get his hands on a live trophy.
Another heads-up deal came into play when the 169-entry field was reduced to its final duo, after Andrej Sidinevskij eliminated short-stack Robertas Visockas in third.
Andrej Sidinevskij (Photo: Mantas Repecka)
Despite holding a more than 2:1 lead over Kisielius, Sidinevskij was content to agree a chop of €14,000, with only the destination of the trophy, and the final €3,100 of the €80,275 prize pool, still to be determined by the heads-up contest. Kisielius quickly turned the deficit around, and the end came when he had his opponent drawing dead on the turn with two pair.

Winner’s Reaction
Kisielius was surprised by the deal, saying “Yeh it was a bit of a strange agreement, I definitely didn’t expect it. He was tired after three days of playing I think, although today had been quick. It was a tough field, got a bit lucky at certain points, but yeh it all ended well.
“I’m really happy because it’s my first trophy. I’ve had some runner-ups and thirds, so finally got it. So it’s really nice, and yeh pleased and proud of myself.”
Kisielius would describe himself as a serious amateur, and maintains that despite his recent successes, his business commitments do not allow him time to pursue the game in a more serious capacity. He fully intends to play whenever he can, however, and as a regular at OlyBet events in Vilnius, he is thinking about spreading his wings further afield and joining the action in Riga and Tallinn.
“I play for fun, and it’s good to compete against strong players. You can win, many are stronger than me, but you can win if you try. I will probably get to Tallinn, it’s difficult to take too much time away, but any time I can you’ll see me!”
Paulius Kisielius
Final Day Recap
Ville Keranen started the day with a decent lead over Sigitas Raila and Sidinevskij, while the champion was sitting in the middle of the pack.
Kisielius got moving early, after being on the right end of an aces versus queens cooler against Onni Harmaala. The Finn was left short, and was the first casualty of the final table shortly after, falling to Sidinevskij.
The final duo tangled in a big four-bet pot, which went Sidinevskij’s way following a jam over Kisielius’ flop lead, to send him to the top of the standings. Algirdas Saveikis was now the short-stack, and he hit the wall when he ran into Visockas’ ace-king to lose a flip.
Alex Heinonen had less than ten bigs when he jammed the small blind with a weak ace, but ran into Visockas’ pocket nines to exit in seventh. The champion had now become relatively short, but he doubled in crucial fashion with a dominating ace against Visockas.
Robertas Visockas
Raila proceeded to pick up rockets at the perfect time, ending up in a three-way all-in situation with Keranen and Sidinevskij, both of whom had decent hands, but which proved to be no match for the strongest of pocket pairs, sending Keranen to the rail in sixth.
Kisielius picked up crucial chips when he check-jammed the turn in a chunky three-way pot to take it down unopposed, before Tomas Kovalenka came off worst in a flip versus Raila in a big blind versus button scenario, to reduce the field to four.
A huge cooler erupted between the chip leaders, Raila and Sidinevskij, in what proved to be the key hand of the tournament prior to the deal. In an under the gun versus big blind spot, Sidinevskij four-bet jammed with aces and was snapped by Raila’s jacks. There was no escape for Raila, who was left with dust, and was finished off in fourth by Sidinevskij in the next hand.
Sigitas Raila
Visockas was next to go, after jamming his short-stack from the small blind into Sidinevskij’s stronger ace, and it appeared the stage was set for a heads-up contest between Sidinevskij and Kisielius, Sidinevskij holding a more than 2:1 advantage.
However, the heads-up deal was swiftly agreed, and Kisielius quickly reversed the position to get his hands on the trophy and final portion of the prize pool, securing a handsome €17,100 payday.
That concludes poker.pro‘s coverage of this event, but be sure to join us from noon tomorrow for our coverage of Day 2 of the €1,100 Main Event.
Paulius Kisielius has emerged as the last player standing in the 2026 Olybet Showdown Vilnius €555 NLH Championship, banking €17,100 for his efforts, after the heads-up deal with Andrej Sidinevskij.
Stay tuned for an interview with the winner and a recap of the final day.
Sidinevskij’s lead was gradually whittled away after a number of three-bet-folds, and he was all-in here for around 1,500,000 and covered by Paulius Kisielius.
Andrej Sidinevskij: K♦8♥ Paulis Kisielius: 7♥5♣
With the trophy and €3,100 on the line, Sidinevskij was ahead. However he was dead by the turn on the J♦7♠3♥5♥3♣ runout, Kisielius making two pair.
The players warmly shook hands, and Kisielius was left to lift the trophy.
Paulius Kisielius – 6,760,000 Andrej Sidinevskij – 0
Despite holding a big lead, Andrej Sidinevskij has agreed to a heads-up deal, whereby both players will bank €14,000 and will play on for €3,100 and the trophy.
Andrej Sidinevskij – 4,900,000 Paulius Kisielius – 1,860,000
Robertas Visockas raised to 130,000 from the small blind, and snap-called an all-in from Sigitas Raila in the big blind, for his total stack of 580,000.
Robertas Visockas: K♠K♦ Sigitas Raila: A♣4♣
Visockas had a premium, and he held across the 9♣5♦4♠3♦8♥ runout, dodging plenty of outs, much to his delight.
Robertas Visockas – 1,280,000 Sigitas Raila – 1,925,000
Robertas Visockas limped under the gun, Tomas Kovalenka followed suit in the small blind, and Paulius Kisielius checked his option.
On the K♠7♣5♥ flop, action checked to Visockas, who fired out a bet of 100,000, and which failed to shake off either opponent.
The same pattern followed on the 4♦ turn, where Visockas slid out a bet of 130,000.
Kovalenka called, before Kisielius check-jammed for 600,000. Kisielius forced a fold from both opponents, after Visockas spent a significant period of time in the tank.
Visockas flashed the K♣ after Kovalenka folded.
Paulius Kisielius – 1,450,000 Tomas Kovalenka – 900,000 Robertas Visockas – 810,000
Sigitas Raila opened to 100,000 from the cutoff, before Ville Keranen three-bet jammed for 565,000 from the button. Andrej Sidinevskij was in the small blind, and he cold-called.
Action folded back to Raila, who four-bet jammed for 720,000, with Sidinevskij quickly making up the difference, to create a huge three-way all-in scenario.
Ville Keranen: K♦J♦ Sigitas Raila: A♠A♣ Andrej Sidinevskij: A♥Q♦
It was a dream spot for Raila, and he held across the 9♣8♣3♠10♣2♦ runout, despite a sweat on the turn, to eliminate Keranen and effectively triple-up.
Sigitas Raila – 2,125,000 Andrej Sidinevskij – 1,650,000 Ville Keranen – 0
Paulis Kisielius opened to 60,000 from under the gun, and was faced with a three-bet to 130,000 from Andrej Sidinevskij on the button.
Action folded back to Kisielius, who produced a four-bet to 260,000. After some thought, Sidinevskij called.
On the J♥8♠3♠ flop, Kisielius fired out a bet of 225,000. Sidinevskij contemplated the spot for a good minute, sat back in his chair in a relaxed posture. He leaned forward and put his head in his hands for a bit, before moving his remaining stack of 730,000 into the middle.
Kisielius went into the tank with 600,000 behind, and after about two minutes, Alex Heinonen called the clock. It seemed a tad premature, but Kisielius was put on the countdown, and ultimately folded.
Andrej Sidinevskij – 1,560,000 Paulius Kisielius – 600,000
With around 180,000 in the middle on a board of J♣4♠4♦3♠, Ville Keranen led out with a bet of 60,000 from the big blind, and Paulius Kisielius called from the hijack.
The K♠ river was checked through, and Kisielius mucked when Keranen tabled A♦J♦ for two pair, jacks and fours.
Ville Keranen – 1,525,000 Paulius Kisielius – 1,075,000
After Onni Harmaala chopped a pot with Andrej Sidinevskij, both with weak aces, Sidinesvkij jammed from the small blind on the same opponent, who called off for his final 110,000.
Onni Harmaala: Q♣4♠ Andrej Sidinevskij: J♣10♦
Harmaala was ahead, but his opponent found a jack on the K♣J♥7♦5♣10♥ runout, making Harmaala the first casualty of the final table.
Play is underway here at the final table of the Olybet Showdown Vilnius €555 NLH Championship, stay tuned to poker.pro for your coverage of all the action.
Only nine players will return today at noon to Olympic Casino Lietuva still in contention to lift the Olybet Showdown Vilnius €555 NLH Championship trophy and chunky €18,685 first-place prize, and Ville Keranen of Finland starts the day in pole position.
Keranen returns to a stack of 1,460,000 at the start of play, and holds a reasonable lead over Lithuanian pair Sigitas Raila (1,020,000) and Andrej Sidinevskij (935,000).
Keranen is aiming to push his recorded career earnings over the $300,000 mark, while Raila’s biggest tournament cash is a fourth-place finish in the Kings of Vilnius Main Event in 2024 for $23,900.
The trophy will either end up staying in Lithuania or taking a trip across the Baltic Sea to Finland, with all the combatants hailing from those countries. Keranen is joined by fellow countrymen Onni Harmaala (720,000) and Alex Heinonen (505,000), while Lithuanians Robertas Visockas (415,000) and Algirdas Saveikis (345,000) start at the bottom of the standings.
Paulius Kisielius (655,000) is in good form, fresh off a runner-up finish in the Kings of Vilnius Main Event in November 2025 for $55,078, and will be a dangerman.

Time has been called on Day 2 of the €555 NLH Championship at the OlyBet Showdown Vilnius 2026, and after the dust settled at Olympic Casino Lietuva, Ville Keranen of Finland soared to the top of the standings after bagging 1,460,000 to lead a final table of nine players.
Keranen has put himself in pole position to claim the €18,685 first-place prize, representing the lion’s share of the €80,275 prize pool created by the 169-runner field, while the final nine have guaranteed themselves a €2,140 payday.
The final table will kick off at noon on May 14, and will be contested between Finland and Lithuania, with the combatants split between the two countries. Keranen is stalked by Lithuanian pair Sigitas Raila (1,020,000) and Andrej Sidinevskij (935,000), while local duo Robertas Visockas (415,000) and Algirdas Saveikis (345,000) bring up the rear. Keranen, meanwhile, is joined by fellow Finns Onni Harmaala (720,000) and Alex Heinonen (505,000).
Keranen’s stack was gained primarily through waking up with rockets at the perfect time against fellow big-stack Matas Budginas’ ace-king. All the chips hit the middle on the basis of the starting hands, and Keranen comfortably held. At that point the Finn was close to the two million mark, but he took a couple of hits towards the end of play.
Keranen is a regular at OlyBet events, but surprisingly does not yet have a Lithuanian flag on his record. A sixth-place finish here will push him over $300,000 in recorded live earnings.
Raila’s biggest tournament cash is a fourth-place finish in the Kings of Vilnius Main Event in 2024 for $23,900, while Sidinevskij appears to have a limited recorded live record. Paulius Kisielius (655,000) is in good form, and will be a dangerman, having bagged a runner-up finish in the Kings of Vilnius Main Event in November 2025 for $55,078. Day 2 Recap
A total of 48 players had qualified from 138 entries across two starting flights, but with late registration open for two levels in Day 2, the final figure reached 169 entrants.
Those statistics meant 20 places would be paid, with a minimum cash good for €1,150. Heinonen led the way from Sergej Babincev at the start of play, who would ultimately fall in twelfth.
The knockouts came thick and fast from the outset, and as the bubble approached, Keranen had risen to the top of the standings. With the tension rising after about 30-minutes of play, Morten Bremseth of Norway was the unfortunate player to leave empty-handed, and it was in the most brutal fashion, his pocket aces being two-outered on the river by Justinas Adomauskas’ pocket nines.
Justinas Adomauskas
Keranen cemented his lead by busting Žygimantas Skvarčevskis with a full house, the first player to exit in the money, and Skvarčevskis was soon followed by Adomauskas and Jonas Lapinskas.
Budginas got lucky to bust Gerardas Lukšėnas with an inferior ace, but any thoughts he might have had of a run at the title proved to be short-lived, as he got coolered with Big Slick by Keranen’s aces shortly after.
Harmaala proceeded to claim the scalps of Saulius Visockas and Babincev, before Tomas Kovalenka got in on the act, busting Kęstutis Jungevičius and Marijus Dirgela to set the final table, and bring a close to the day’s play with 35 minutes left in Level 25.

The final table will get underway at noon on May 14, so stay tuned to poker.pro as we see who can claim the title and first-place prize of €18,685.
With play in Day 2 due to conclude when the final table of nine is reached, play has become extremely cautious, with barely any substantive action in the last 15 minutes.
Alex Heinonen opened to 30,000, and Dominykas Morkunas defended the big blind.
On the A♦8♥8♦ flop, Morkunas check-called a bet of 30,000 from his opponent.
The same pattern followed on the 3♥ turn, this time in respect of a bet of 35,000 from Heinonen.
The 9♥ river completed the board, and Morkunas checked once more. Heinonen jammed with the covering stack, and after a bit of thought, Morkunas called off for the roughly 190,000 he had left behind.
Heinonen tabled A♣K♠ for two pair, and that was good versus Morkunas’ A♠7♠.
Onni Harmaala opened to 24,000 under the gun, and was met with a three-bet to 72,000 from Sigitas Raila.
Justinas Adomauskas was in the big blind, and he cold four-bet jammed, covering both opponents. Harmaala quickly folded, but Raila moved his total stack of 321,000 into the middle.
Sigitas Raila: A♦Q♥ Justinas Adomauskas: A♥K♣
Raila was crushed, and looked to be heading for the exits up to the turn, but went runner-runner to hit the broadway straight on the J♦J♠7♠10♦K♠ runout.
Sigitas Raila – 672,000 Justinas Adomauskas – 240,000
Teemu Salminen was getting up out of his chair, and his roughly 120,000 stack was being passed to Tomas Kovalenka, after Kovalenka’s 8♣8♥ came off best against Salminen’s 6♣3♠ on the Q♣4♠3♣K♦J♠ runout.
Sigitas Raila opened to 20,000 from the hijack, and was met with a three-bet to 65,000 from Jonas Lapinskas in the cutoff.
Action folded back to Raila, who four-bet jammed with the covering stack. Lapinskas, with around 122,000 behind, seemed pained and went into the tank, but ultimately folded.
Matas Budginas opened to 12,000 from early position, and received calls from Dominykas Morkunas on the button, and Arturas Subbotinas in the big blind.
The 10♥8♠3♠ flop was checked to Morkunas, who fired out a bet of 20,000. Subbotinas quickly folded, but Budginas responded with a check-raise to 62,000, and earned a swift fold from Morkunas.
Rasmus Sihvonen had been on the wrong end of a straight over straight cooler a couple of hands previously, and moved all in for 33,000 from under the gun.
Algirdas Saveikis made the call with the covering stack, putting Sihvonen at risk.
Rasmus Sihvonen: A♥7♣ Algirdas Saveikis: Q♥Q♠
Sihvonen had run into a premium, and although he turned a gutshot, he bricked the 10♦5♥3♦6♠Q♣ runout.
Around 104,000 was in the middle on a board of K♣9♠9♥A♦, in a hand between Kestutis Jungevicius from under the gun, and Jurgis Beinoras in the small blind.
Beinoras check-called in the face of a bet of 21,000 from his opponent to see the 2♣ river, where he checked once more.
Jungevicius fired out a bet of 96,000, and after a reasonable period in the tank, Beinoras called. Jungevicius showed A♠9♦ for the turned full house, and Beinoras smiled, nodded and mucked.
Kestutis Jungevicius – 420,000 Jurgis Beinoras – 145,000
Ville Keranen opened to 11,000 under the gun, and received a call from Robertas Visockas, before Nam Le three-bet jammed from the big blind for 129,000.
Keranen moved all in for his total stack of 124,000, and Visockas open-folded J♥J♠ after some time in the tank.
Ville Keranen: A♠K♠ Nam Le: A♥10♥
Keranen was in great shape, and the 8♠6♣2♣5♥K♦ runout was sweat free.
Gatis Reigass raised to 17,000 from the small blind, and after quite a bit of thought, Dmytrii Zahrebelnyi three-bet jammed for 123,000 from the big blind.
Reigass made a relatively quick call with the covering stack.
Dmytrii Zahrebelnyi: 6♦5♦ Gatis Reigass: A♥J♦
Zahrebelnyi was behind, and remained so after the J♣9♠6♣ flop led to a top pair versus bottom pair scenario.
The K♦ turn was a brick, but the 6♥ rolled off on the river in stunning fashion to give Zahrebelnyi trip sixes and the double-up, much to Reigass’ disbelief.
A pot of around 34,000 had brewed by the river, on a board of J♥5♦4♠8♦, in a hand between Matas Cimbolas in the cutoff and Jonas Lapinskas in the big blind.
Lapinskas checked, and Cimbolas fired out a bet of 24,000. Lapinskas spent quite some time in the tank, before suddenly announcing he was all-in for 61,500. Cimbolas quickly called.
Jonas Lapinskas: J♦9♣ Matas Cimbolas: K♣K♠
It was top pair versus Cimbolas’ overpair cowboys, and Lapinskas was up out of his chair.
The stand-up trick worked a charm as Lapinskas drilled the 9♦ river to make two pair and secure the double-up.
The tournament director has confirmed the final figures after the closure of late registration.
A total of 169 entrants resulted in a €80,275 prize pool, which is to be split between the top 20 finishers as follows, with a minimum cash worth €1,150, and the champion set to bank €18,685:-
Late registration has now closed, with the the tournament attracting a total field of 169 entrants. There are 58 players still seated, with the following leading the way at the first break:-
Alex Heinonen – 420,000 Mindaugas Satkauskas – 372,000 Tomas Kovalenka – 355,000 Iryna Tsikhanskaya – 280,000 Onni Harmalla – 275,000
With 44,000 in the middle on a completed board of A♦7♦2♠8♥10♥, Tomas Kovalenka checked from the big blind to Teemu Salminen in the cutoff, who fired out a bet of 24,000.
Kovalenka responded with a check-jam of 155,000, sending Salminen into a world of pain.
“Why so big? It can only be a bluff right?”, said Salminen was he sat pondering the position. Eventually he said “I can’t fold this”, and made the call, with around 245,000 behind.
Kovalenka tabled J♠9♦ for the runner-runner straight, and Salminen mucked with frustration, his A♠7♣ for a flopped two pair being retrieved from the muck.
Jurgis Beinoras opened to 5,500 from early position, and received a call from the button, before Sami Pulliainen three-bet jammed for 24,000 from the big blind.
Beinoras thought things through for a bit before rejamming, forcing out the button.
Sami Pulliainen: A♠K♠ Jurgis Beinoras: A♣J♥
Pulliainen looked in great shape, but his opponent found top pair on the J♦10♣4♠ flop.
Pulliainen had a gutshot, and while the 7♦ turn was a brick, he hit the Q♣ river to make the broadway straight.
Sami Pulliainen – 60,000 Jurgis Beinoras – 130,000
Arturas Selivoncikas opened to 5,000 from middle position, and received a call from Volodymyr Bezverkhyi in the next seat, before Tomas Kovalenka produced a three-bet to 17,000 from the cutoff.
The opener folded, but Bezverkhyi called to see the K♣4♣4♦ flop, where he check-folded versus a bet of 11,000 from Kovalenka.
Tomas Kovalenka – 170,000 Volodymyr Bezverkhyi – 135,000
Žygimantas Skvarčevskis opened to 4,000 from under the gun, and was met with a three-bet to 12,000 from Egidijus Matonis in middle position.
Jonas Lapinskas cold-called in the hijack, and Skvarčevskis called.
The A♣9♣3♣ flop was checked to the 5♥ turn, where Skvarčevskis quickly fired out a bet of 15,000. Both of his opponents spent quite some time considering their next move, but both ended up sending their cards to the dealer.
With around 60,000 in the middle on a board of 10♦9♣5♠6♣, Vladimiras Mečkovskis moved all in for around 75,000, sending Rolandas Aglinskas into the tank.
After around 30 seconds, Aglinskas elected to send his cards to the muck.
Vladimiras Mečkovskis – 135,000 Rolandas Aglinskas – 115,000
Dominykas Morkunas and Sergej Babincev started the day in the top three stacks, and here Morkunas opened to 4,000 from the cutoff, and received a call from Babincev in the small blind.
On the A♠K♣Q♠ flop, Babincev check-called in the face of a bet of 5,500 from Morkunas.
The 4♥ turn was quickly checked to the Q♦ river, where Babincev led out with a bet of 8,500.
Morkunas called, and quickly mucked when Babincev tabled A♥9♣ for two pair.

Play will continue in Day 2 until the field is reduced to the final table of nine players, who will return at noon on Thursday, May 14, for the final day, where poker.pro will be on the floor until the trophy is lifted.
Our coverage will then switch to the flagship event of the festival, the €1,100 Main Event, where we will join the action in Day 2, so stay tuned for your coverage of all the action from the OlyBet Showdown Vilnius 2026 festival.
The tournament director has confirmed that 15 places will be paid, with a minimum cash worth €2,290, while the significant sum of €29,370 awaits the champion.

The tournament director has also confirmed play will conclude in Day 2 after nine levels, or once the final table of nine is reached, whichever is earlier.
