Event #17 is complete, and Chris Ruddell was the winner of the final event for the Spring Super Stack. He took it down over Andy Truong on a final hand where Truong flopped middle pair against a diamond draw for Ruddell. Ruddell found the diamonds on the river to take it down.
They are in the money on the side game, and Chad English has already cashed out for a min-cash of $534. That leaves them 10-handed on the final table, but I’m still watching the Main Event, so I won’t be able to get final table photos for this one just yet.

The side game players are on a break following Level 15, and the field is down to 14 remaining. That puts them 3 off the money spots, but I’m still not watching this one very closely, as there are still 12 players remaining in the Main, so it’s possible this game may get virtually no coverage.
The final prize pool of the 2026 Spring Super Stack is now up, and 114 entries are confirmed for Event #17. That means 11 players will share in $21,375 in prizes later tonight, with $5,700 in total bounties in the field today. Keep in mind that I’ll be focusing on the Main Event until it completes, so this game won’t get much coverage until the end of the night.
Entries are now closed for the 2026 Spring Super Stack, with the final event now in Level 10. The final number on the board is 114 entries, and if that holds, 11 players should get a piece of $21,375 in prizes later tonight (with an extra $5,700 in bounties in the field).
I’ll confirm all the numbers when the prizes are posted shortly.
There are about 20 minutes remaining in entries for the final game of the series, and the field is at 110 entries. That puts $5,500 into the bounty pool, and $20,625 in the prize pool for a combined total of more than $26k.

The side game is on the first break of the day, with 89 entries, and 63 players still alive. There are just under 2 hours left to enter the final game, with the registration desk closing for good at about 5:30 tonight.
Jamie Bateman had chipped down to less than 10k, and when he woke up with a pair of sevens, he got his stack in. He was called by a bigger stack and at risk, but in good shape against pocket sixes.
The sevens held on the runout, though after the hand, another player at the table said they folded a king, which would have rivered both pairs.
The side game field is up to 70 entries, with Level 3 nearly complete. That puts the combined prizes at almost $17k, with about 2.5 hours left to enter.
I’ve just had another wander around the room, and among the players I spotted in action were Kevin Kemna, Terrill Coughlin, Sam Brouillard, Viet Do,, Nu Teliani, Chad Englis, Mal Hagan, Mohsen Shafizadeh, and Sebastien Crema.
The final game of the series is nearing 60 entries, with Level 3 just underway. That puts the current prizes at $13,775 combined, with $2,900 in bounties and almost $11k in the prize pool for later today.
