Seated in the Lo-jack, Luka Potocnik opened to 32,000. Jevgenijs Zotovs was the sole caller, as he decided to defend his Big Blind.
After an initial check from Zotovs, Potocnik fired a 20,000 continuation bet on the J♣9♠4♦ flop. Zotovs snap-called, and the dealer revealed the 2♥ turn. Action now went check, check, and on the 3♠ river, Zotovs took over the aggression with a 65,000 bet. “Not in my house,” Potocnik must’ve been thinking, as he raised to 150,000. A rather swift fold from Zotovs saw Potocnik secure the pot, roughly 10 minutes before the next scheduled break.
Jevgenijs Zotovs: 790,000
Luka Potocnik: 760,000
