Jose Maria Nieto Martin opened to 325,000 on the Button. Seated in the Big Blind, PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Barbara Jiménez made the call.
Jiménez came out firing on the 3♦6♥Q♦ flop with a 225,000 donk bet, and was faced with a 625,000 raise from Martin. Jiménez made the call, and the dealer revealed the 9♣ on the turn. Jiménez now check-called a hefty 1,150,000 bet from Martin. On the 5♥ river, Jiménez wasted little time before going all in for 1,585,000, and Martin snap-called.
Barbara Jiménez: 8♦7♦
Jose Maria Nieto Martin: Q♥3♥
A rivered straight saw Jiménez win quite a significant pot. As Martin was left with a few Big Blinds, Jiménez became the chip leader.
