Seated UTG, Aigars Petrovs min-raised to 24,000. Action folded all the way to Oleh Pritsak, who three-bet to 122,000 from the Big Blind. Petrovs made the call.
Pritsak continued the aggression with a 80,000 continuation bet on the 3♣4♥6♠ flop, and Petrovs made the call. The dealer revealed the 2♣ turn, and Pritsak now decided to move all in for a hefty 260,000. This sent Petrovs deep, deep into the tank; a small crowd gathered around the table to watch the enormous pot unfold. Ultimately, Petrovs made the call, and with 942,000 in the middle, the players tabled their holdings.
Oleh Pritsak: K♥K♠
Aigars Petrovs: Q♣J♣
Pritsak was ahead with the Cowboys, and as Petrovs didn’t hit his flush on the A♥ river, Pritsak claimed the pot that was just shy of the million. Chances are good Pritsak is the current chip leader.
Oleh Pritsak: 942,000
Aigars Petrovs: 258,000
