The action began with Tal Barasofsky opening from the early position with A♥6♥ and chip leader Veli-Pekka Penttinen three-bet to 1,400,000 with J♥J♦. Christina Solli, with the shortest stack at the table, looked down at 8♣7♣ in the big blind. With two blinds already invested in the pot, she took a moment before deciding that was reason enough to move all-in. Barasofsky quickly folded, and the cards were tabled.
The flop came 3♠8♥9♣, pairing Solli’s eight and giving her hope. The 10♣ on the turn dramatically increased her equity, adding an open-ended straight flush draw for a total of 15 outs.
The river brought a black card, but the wrong one in the 5♠. With that, had to say her goodbyes as seventh place finisher of the Main Event, pocketing €27,250 for her efforts.
