Action folded to Italian Mario Colavita, who min-raised to 16,000 from the Cut-off. Aurimas Stanevicius made the call from the Small Blind, and the two of them were soon heads-up to the flop.
After an initial check from Stanevicius on the 3♦5♦4♠ flop, Colavita continued for another 16,000. Stanevicius then forced his opponent all in for 75,000 in total, and Colavita made the call faster than you could say “Big Slick.”
Aurimas Stanevicius: Q♦J♦
Mario Colavita: A♦K♦
Both players were chasing the same draw; no one got there on the 3♣9♣ runout, and Colavita had the best hand with ace high.
Aurimas Stanevicius: 248,000
Mario Colavita: 75,000
