Francisco Garrido Cruz opened to 500,000 on the Button, and Barbara Jiménez swiftly moved all in for 4,050,000. Cruz made the call as fast as humanly possible.
Barbara Jiménez: A♠8♥
Francisco Garrido Cruz: A♠8♥A♦Q♦
Cruz had Jiménez covered, and in very rough shape. It was looking like this was going to be the hand. He maintained his lead on the 2♣9♠J♠ flop. He took an even firmer grip on the 6♠ turn. Poker can be a brutal game, though; Jiménez hit the magical 8♣ on the river to double up and extend the battle.
Francisco Garrido Cruz: 10,750,000
Barbara Jiménez: 8,350,000
