Seated UTG+1, Jonathan Church opened to 12,000. Short-stacked Mohammad Joian (Small Blind) was the sole caller.
Joian donk-shoved 42,500 on the A♥9♣7♠ flop. Without a shred of hesitation, Church made the call.
Mohammad Joian: 10♦7♥
Jonathan Church: A♣A♦
Things were looking like Joian would become the unfortunate bubble boy, but the J♥8♦ runout extended his tournament life as he hit a runner-runner straight.
Jonathan Church: 455,000
Mohammad Joian: 90,000
