The very first hand after the dinner break, Simonas Juocys moved all in for 110,000 UTG. Big stacked Jukka-Pekka Nordman made the call from the Small Blind.
Simonas Juocys: 7♥5♥
Jukka-Pekka Nordman: A♦3♥
Nordman was ahead by the slightest of margins, and the odds were still in his favor as both players improved to a pair on the 5♦2♠A♥ flop. He maintained his lead on the Q♠ turn, but the fortunate 7♠ river saw Juocys surviving. “Lucky,” he said as he raked in the chips. Nordman is still quite healthy.
Jukka-Pekka Nordman: 1,200,000
Simonas Juocys: 260,000
