Mike Spiruda made it 70k to go under the gun, and Leo Zhang called from the button, as did Neil Smith from the big blind. They all checked the Q♣6♥6♦ flop, but it all kicked off on the 9♠ turn.
Smith checked again before Spiruda potted to 250k, leaving just fumes behind. Zhang mucked his hand, but Smith put Spiruda all in. Spiruda called with A♦K♣J♠10♦ for the straight wrap, but Smith had flopped the boat with Q♦Q♠7♠4♦. The A♣ river was no help to Spiruda, and he was out in 4th place.
