Action folded to “Mr. X,” who opened to 1,300 from the Lo-jack. Michael Moore (Cut–off) and George Demetriou (Button) both decided to make the call.
“Two sharks and one fish,” “Mr. X” joked as he was first to act on the 9♠3♣J♦ flop. He decided on a 2,200, and both his opponents called. Action went check-check-check on the 7♣ turn, and “Mr. X” then bet 3,600 on the K♥ river. Moore made the call in a heartbeat, before Demetriou decided to fold.
“Queen high,” “Mr. X” laughed as he urged Moore to show his hand. Being a good sport, Moore turned over K♦J♠ for two pairs and was awarded the pot.
Michael Moore: 68,000
George Demetriou: 48,000
“Mr. X”: 31,000
