Action folded to Jacopo Barnabo on the button who raised it up to 5,000. Simone Alati decided to defend his big blind.
On the flop J♦9♦2♦, it was Alati who led out for 3,000. Barnabo called and the turn 5♠ presented itself. Action went check-check and on J♥ Alati fired a 10,000 bet. Barnabo went into the tank for a minute or two before finally calling.
Simone Alati: K♦7♦
Jacopo Barnabo: 10♥2♥
Alati and his flopped flush raked in the chips as Jacopo leaned back in his chair and announced that he was a “non-believer”.
