Action folded to PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples, who opened to 11,000 from the Hi-jack. Seated in the Big Blind, Dean Perry was the sole caller.
Perry check-called a 20,000 bet from Staples on the 5♥3♠9♦ flop. Action repeated itself on the 7♣ turn, the only difference being the sizing from Staples now was 20,000. Perry completed the check trifecta on the 9♥ river, and Staples now pulled the trigger. He moved all in for 98,000, and Perry flew back in his chair, releasing a heavy sigh. After a minute’s contemplating, he folded, revealing his 7♦5♦ holdings.
Dean Perry: 459,000
Jaime Staples: 251,000
