Eric Taylor isn’t going down lightly, and he’s just evened out the stacks in a big hand. He’d been chippin away at Nate Habte’s lead for a while, and he found a huge spot for a double to tie.
Taylor potted to 180k preflop and Hatbe called to see A♦Q♣9♣. Habte check-called for 220k to see 7♦ on the turn. Havte checked again, then called when Taylor shoved his remaining chips. Habte was looking for clubs with K♣J♣10♦4♥ against Taylor’s A♥10♣8♣4♥.
Taylor was ahead with top pair, but Habte had flush outs for the win. The river 6♥ was a brick, however, Taylor doubled to even stacks.
