There were roughly 600,000 in the middle when the board read A♦10♦J♥2♥7♣. The player who began Day 2 with the second-most in chips, Sally Smith, bet 100,000 on the river. Her opponent, Arcin Izzigil, was visibly uncomfortable. He utilized two time-bank chips before making the call.
Smith turned over A♣K♦. Izzigil’s hand hit the muck and Smith now plays more than 1,000,000.
Sally Smith: 1,123,000
Arcin Izzigil: 225,000
