There were 50,000 in the middle when the board read Q♦7♠6♥K♠. George Holmes bet an additional 26,500 and was called by Scott Waine and Andreas Constantinou. Needless to say, the pot was getting big.
The river was the K♣. And Constantinou bet 27,000. Then, Holmes went all in for 96,000. Waine folded, before Constantinou made the call.
George Holmes: Q♠Q♣
Andreas Constantinou: K♦7♦
Boat over boat and Constantinou took the larger chunk of Holmes’ stack.
Andreas Constantinou: 310,000
George Holmes: 8,000
