A.M. was all-in for 34,000 and at risk against Alex Aubrey.
A.M: A♠K♥ Alex Aubrey: Q♥Q♦
A.M. hit the front after the K♠7♠2♠ flop, which included the nut flush draw, reducing Aubrey to one out. It did not arrive on the 10♦K♣ turn and river.
Raneel Bhatti opened to 5,500 in early position, and was met with a three-bet jam from Jaime Staples from the cutoff for 34,000. Prior to that a queen had been exposed when a player folded.
Bahtti hesitated, but made the call.
Jaime Staples: A♣5♣ Raneel Bhatti: A♥Q♠
“Sorry it was only because of the queen”, said Bhatti, conscious that it may be perceived as a slow roll.
Despite a queen being gone, ace-queen high with a board pair of fours was enough for Bhatti to send Staples packing.
Cards were on their backs and stacks were in the middle on a flop of 6♥5♠2♥, with Akin Mahnut all-in and at risk against Lorenc Boci.
Akin Mahnut: A♦K♥ Lorenc Boci: 10♥10♦
Boci was ahead, and despite pleading with the dealer for an ace or king, Mahnut bricked the J♠J♥ runout.
“Unlucky” commented a table mate as Mahnut got up out of his chair and started to leave. “Why unlucky?” queried Boci, a cheeky grin on his face. “You’re right, I’m just being nice, you were ahead the whole time” laughed the other player.
Day 1c of the Main Event is just underway, featuring 25-minute levels, with late registration open until the start of Level 10.
As with all Day 1 flights, 25% of the field will progress to Day 2. The final hyper flight, Day 1d, kicks off at 11 a.m. tomorrow and features 15-minute levels.
pokerpro’s coverage will focus on Day 1b, but updates and full counts for the remaining starting flights will follow.
The tournament director has confirmed Day 1b received 150 entrants, meaning 38 players are scheduled to make the Day 2 cut.
Sean Kozak tops the standings as play resumes after dinner break, with PartyPoker Ambassador Sam Acheampong building a decent stack. Fellow ambassadors Matt and Jaime Staples are in the field, and Dara O’Kearney has also sat down:-
Sean Kozak – 245,000 Henrik Horwing – 220,000 Jody Shelley – 220,000 S.Z. – 190,000 Sam Acheampong – 185,000 Dara O’Kearney – 100,000 Jaime Staples, 50,000 Matt Staples – 34,000
Michael Delaney opened to 3,200, and was faced with a three-bet to 11,100 from Jen-Yue Chiang, before Marian Sirbu cold four-bet jammed from the big blind for 24,700.
Delaney folded but Chiang made the call.
Marian Sirbu: 10♠10♣ Jen-Yue Chiang: A♦J♦
It was off to the races, but the ace was in the window on the A♥7♠4♠K♥4♣ runout, sending Sirbu to the rail.
Jen-Yue Chiang – 95,000 Michael Delaney – 60,000 Marian Sirbu – 0
E.L. opened from the button to 3,500, and Wantao Tang defended the big blind.
The 8♠8♣4♣ flop was checked to the J♣ turn, where Tang check-called in the face of a bet of 3,200 from E.L.
The 8♥ river was checked through, and E.L. was dismayed to see his A♣2♣ for the turned nut flush was no good versus Tang’s J♠7♥ for the rivered full house.
Day 1a of the PLO Masters is underway, with 36 entrants received thus far.
Late registration remains open until the start of Level 10, with three further starting flights to come, and Day 2 scheduled for 4 p.m. on 21 December.
The prize pool has risen to £104,575, breaking the £100,000 guarantee, with late registration still open in Day 1b and two more starting flights still to come.
A pot of around 50,000 had developed by the turn, on a board of 10♣6♠2♠K♥, in a hand between Vadims Veskins in early position, and S.Z. in the small blind.
S.Z. check-called a bet of 15,000 to see the 6♦ river, where he checked once more. Veskins fired out a bet of 40,000, covering S.Z.’s remaining stack.
S.Z. went into the tank, and there was a fair bit of chatter between the two, Veskins intimating he knew S.Z. had queens or jacks.
S.Z. said “One minute you’re trying to talk me into a call, the next you’re trying to talk me into a fold.” He ultimately made the call, and saw his Q♥Q♣ was good versus Veskins A♣7♣.
G.P. limped under the gun, and Chris Yong followed suit on the button, before PartyPoker Ambassador Barry Carter jammed for 21,600 from the small blind.
Fabian Donovan was in the big blind, and he three-bet jammed for around 44,000. G.P. tanked for a bit, but made the call. Yong folded to create a three-way all-in scenario.
Barry Carter: A♣10♦ Fabian Donovan: Q♥Q♣ G.P. – A♥K♥
Donovan looked in good shape to scoop a big pot, but the A♠J♠8♣ flop put G.P. in front.
The A♦ improved him further, and Carter nor Donovan could find any outs on the 7♠ river.
G.P. – 250,000 Barry Carter – 0 Fabian Donovan – 0
Sebastian Constable, fresh off a fourth place finish in the Mini Main, limped from the small blind, and called a raise to 3,000 from M.R. in the big blind.
On the 10♦5♦2♥ flop, Constable check-called a bet of 2,000 from M.R.
The 4♦ hit on the turn, and the same pattern followed, this time in respect of a bet of 15,000 from M.R.
The 5♣ river completed the board, and Constable checked once more. M.R. jammed with the slightly covering stack, and Constable snap-called for his 29,400 total stack.
M.R. tabled K♣K♦ for two pair, kings and fives, but Constable had turned the straight with A♠3♣.
Rhys Doe opened to 2,000 from middle position, and received calls from Daniel Ball in the hijack and K.K. in the big blind.
On the K♥5♥2♦ flop, action was checked to Doe, who fired out a bet of 2,200. Ball called, before K.K. produced a check-raise to 5,200. Both Doe and Ball called.
On the J♣ turn, K.K. fired out a bet of 9,200, forcing folds from both of his opponents.
The players have been sent on their second 15-minute break of the day.
K.K. – 72,000 Rhys Doe – 44,000 Daniel Ball – 39,000
A pot of around 22,500 had developed by the turn on a board of J♣7♦6♣3♥, in a hand between P.O. in middle position, and Lorenc Boci in the small blind.
Boci fired out a bet of 19,500, and P.O. called to see the 10♣ river, which brought potential flushes.
Boci checked, and P.O. jammed for around 60,000, covering Boci. Boci went into the tank, and ultimately made the call, but was dismayed to see his 6♥6♦ for a set of sixes had been rivered by P.O.’s K♣2♣ for the king-high flush.
Benn Varney was getting up out of his seat, after calling an out of turn jam on the river from Lorenc Boci of around 20,000 into a roughly 30,000 pot, on a board of J♣8♥4♣A♦J♠.
Boci tabled Q♣J♥ for rivered trip jacks, usurping Varney’s A♥8♣ for a turned two pair that was counterfeited on the river.
A player opened to 1,200 under the gun, and Anatolie Haruc called in the next seat, before Natthaphon Kanjarnavoranum produced a three-bet to 4,200 next along.
K.C. cold-called in the big blind and the opener folded, before Haruc produced a four-bet to 100,000. Kanjarnavoranum quickly folded, but K.C. called off for his roughly 42,000 total stack.
K.C: A♣Q♦ Anatolie Haruc: Q♥Q♣
Haruc had laid a trap, and it worked perfectly after K.C. could not connect with the 10♥10♦9♥8♠7♥ runout.
Timothy Hughes opened under the gun, and received a call from PartyPoker Ambassador Natalie Bromley in the next seat, before Vadims Veskins produced a three-bet to 4,500 next along.
Action folded back to Hughes, who quickly produced a four-bet to 15,000. Bromley folded pretty quickly, and Veskins followed suit, promptly open-folding A♦K♠.
Bromley claimed she had folded queens, and Hughes tabled pocket kings.
After a preflop raising war, Charles Smith was all-in for around 30,000 and at risk against PartyPoker Ambassador Sam Acheampong. Before the cards were tabled, Smith said to Acheampong “You’ve got me”.
Smith tabled A♦A♥ and Acheampong exploded with laughter, saying “This guy, you’ve got me he says, and turns over aces! Wait till you see, they’re getting cracked.”
In unbelievable fashion, the jack was in the window on the J♣8♦7♦, causing the entire table to erupt, with Smith also seeing the funny side.
Smith could not find a miracle escape on the 4♣ turn or Q♥ river, and gave Acheampong a big hug as he left the table, everyone creasing themselves.
A chunky pot of 23,000 had developed by the turn on a board of J♣10♦7♠9♦, in a hand between L.S. in early position, and Goonjan Mall on the button.
L.S. checked, and Mall fired out a bet of 20,000, leaving himself only 600 behind. The bet just covered L.S., and he took a quite a bit of time for thought before he made the call.
Katie Swift opened to 800 from early position, and received a call, before P.O. produced a three-bet to 2,800 from the cutoff. Swift produced a four-bet to 7,500, the caller folded, and P.O. called.
On the J♣9♠6♠ flop, Swift continued with a bet of 5,500, which failed to shake off P.O.
The J♥ turn and 3♣ river were checked through. Swift announced “Ace-high”, and mucked when P.O. tabled A♥K♥ for ace-king high.
P.S. opened to 800 from middle position, and received a call from Antonis Poulengeris in the hijack, before Christopher Vernon produced a three-bet to 2,300 from the button. The opener folded but Poulengeris called.
On the J♣9♥7♠ flop, Poulengeris check-called a bet of 3,000 from Vernon.
The 3♠ turn and 3♣ river were checked through. Poulengeris said “I missed” as he tabled Q♥10♦ for queen-high.
Vernon had missed as well, but his K♠10♥ for king-high was good enough for the pot.
Christopher Vernon – 56,000 Antonis Poulengeris – 47,000
A pot of 8,000 had brewed by the river, on a board of Q♦2♦Q♣2♠A♥, in a hand between Pavinder Kumar under the gun, and Jonathan Spelman in the cutoff.
Kumar led out with a bet of 2,000, and was met with a raise to 7,000 from Spelman. Kumar commented “This is a bad call”, before flicking in calling chips.
Kumar tabled A♦3♦ for two pair, aces and queens, but Spelman had 8♥2♥ for the full house.
There was 6,500 sitting in front of S.C. under the gun, and G.P. in the hijack, before Sean Kozak jammed for around 45,000, forcing folds from both of his opponents.
A huge pot of 45,000 had developed by the river on a board of J♥9♦4♥K♠2♦, in a hand between Steven Thompson and Philip Grazette.
Thompson jammed for around 35,000, and was snapped by Grazette.
Grazette tabled pocket aces, but was dismayed to see Thompson had flopped a set with 4♠4♣. “I might just have a few hours off now”, joked Thompson, as he raked in a huge early double-up.
The flagship event of the 2025 PartyPoker Tour London, the £500 buy-in £100,000 guaranteed Main Event, kicked off yesterday at Genting Casino, Stratford, with players hoping to add their name to an illustrious list of debut season champions.
Getnet Kassa became the inaugural PartyPoker Tour Main Event champion, triumphing in London back in April for a £38,408 payday, while Deniz Orhan succeeded him in Manchester for a £19,843 score.

Zhen Zhen then overcame a stacked final table in Glasgow, including David Lappin and PartyPoker ambassador Jaime Staples, to become the first female winner, boosting her bankroll by £22,500, while Tai Hoang locked-up £27,420 after victory at the penultimate stop in Birmingham. The win capped a remarkable week for Hoang, who also finished runner-up in the Mini Main for £9,080.
Day 1a attracted a total of 95 entrants, and 23 players bagged and tagged for Day 2, representing 25% of the field. Kartik Kartik rose to the summit of the standings after accumulating a 618,000 stack, giving him a substantial lead over Andreas Orthodoxou (410,000) and T.S. (368,000).
Triple Crown winner Niall Farrell (111,000) also found a bag, while Player of the Year contenders Alexander Georgiev (188,000) and Orhan (217,000) are both in the mix.

After a rapid six-hour final day, Andre Leal of Portugal has emerged as the last player standing in the 2025 PartyPoker Tour London Mini Main Event, taking the trophy and first-place prize of £14,530, defeating Bulgarian Antanas Hristov heads-up.
Leal overcame a 726-entry field, which created a £90,750 prize pool, smashing the £50,000 guarantee, with the final table results as follows:-

Final Day Action
Only 16 players returned to Genting Casino, Stratford for the final day, with Sebastian Constable leading the way at the start of play from Adewale Keshinro and Sidharth Menda. Menda unfortunately suffered an alarm malfunction, and only took his seat on the final table bubble. Only the poker gods will know if matters would have turned out differently.
Dean Clay was the first casualty of the finale, busting to Keshinro, and he was swiftly followed by Benjamin Cox and Amber Loader, who also fell to Keshinro.
Triple Crown winner Niall Farrell was next to depart, after he lost a blind on blind all-in confrontation with Constable.
Niall Farrell (Photo: Nunzia Esposito)
Sofia Irene proceeded to secure a double knockout when she woke up with cowboys against two inferior pairs, and the final table was set when Hristov brought D.B.’s run to an end in tenth.
Final Table Summary
Irene came into the final table with the lead, closely followed by Keshinro, while Leal was sitting in third.
Sofia Irene (Photo: Nunzia Esposito)
Keshinro claimed the first scalp, and the chip lead, when he outflopped Safak Senyuksel’s pocket queens.
Irene wrestled the lead back when she disposed of Barry O’Shea in eighth, but took a hit when she doubled Menda, and sustained some further damage when Leal turned a one-card flush.
Menda woke up with cowboys to bust John Squibb in seventh, and Irene took a big chunk out of Keshinro when she spiked the river to hit two pair with an inferior ace. Keshinro was left with crumbs after falling into a trap set by Hristov with Big Slick, and Constable finished him off shortly after in sixth.
Adewale Keshinro (Photo: Nunzia Esposito)
Menda was next to go when Leal spiked a pair on the river in a flip, and Leal was on the right end of another flip to bust Constable in fourth.
That set the stage for three-handed combat between Leal, Irene and Hristov, with Leal and Irene almost even, and Hristov trailing, albeit only a double behind.
A brutal cooler between the champion and Irene resulted in her downfall. Irene flopped top pair, but Leal had hit trips. All the chips hit the middle on the turn, leaving the victor with a 4:1 advantage over Hristov at the start of heads-up play.
Leal only required one hand to bring the contest to a swift conclusion. Both players were dealt an ace, and while the Bulgarian had Leal dominated, the Portuguese went runner-runner to make the nut flush and take the title.
That concludes poker.pro‘s coverage of the Mini Main Event, but be sure to stick with us for the rest of the week for full coverage of the remainder of the 2025 PartyPoker Tour London, including the £100,000 guaranteed £500 buy-in Main Event.
Andre Leal has emerged as a deserving winner of the 2025 PartyPoker Tour London Mini Main Event, overcoming a 726-entry field to take the trophy and a £14,530 payday, after defeating Atanas Hristov heads-up in short order.
In the first hand of heads-up play, Atanas Hristov opened to 800,000 from the button, and was met with a three-bet jam from Andre Leal in the big blind with the covering stack.
Hristov made a quick call to put himself at risk, and put the title on the line.
Atanas Hristov: A♦Q♣ Andre Leal: A♥8♥
Hristov had his opponent dominated, and the K♠6♥4♦ flop was clear.
However, the K♥ turn paired the board and brought Leal the flush draw, and he went runner-runner with the 5♥ river to hit the nut flush in cruel fashion, and take the title.
The players shared a warm handshake, and Leal was left to lift the trophy.
Andre Leal opened to 800,000 from the button with K♣6♠, and was met with a three-bet to 2,400,000 from the small blind from Atanas Hristov with A♥9♣, leading to a swift fold from Leal.
Sebastian Constable opened to 600,000 under the gun with A♣K♦, and received calls from Atanas Hristov with Q♣10♣ and Sofia Irene with 8♥7♥ in the blinds.
On the 10♥10♠6♦ flop, action was checked to Constable, who fired out a bet of 700,000.
Hristov responded with a check-jam to 3,700,000, forcing folds from both opponents.
Atanas Hristov – 6,500,000 Sebastian Constable – 3,200,000 Sofia Irene – 11,000,000
Sebastian Constable opened to 500,000 under the gun with A♣7♣, and received a call from Atanas Hriistov in the cutoff, before Adewale Keshinro three-bet jammed for 1,300,000 from the button.
Constable got out of the way, but Hristov quickly called, who was slightly covered.
Adewale Keshinro: A♦7♦ Atanas Hristov: A♥K♣
Hristov had set the trap, and Keshinro had fallen into it.
Keshinro bricked the Q♣9♠3♠3♦K♥ runout, and was left with 625,000.
Andre Leal opened to 500,000 from the hijack, and was met with a three-bet jam to 835,000 from Atanas Hristov in the cutoff. Action folded back to Leal, who made the call.
Atanas Hristov: 9♠9♣ Andre Leal: K♠Q♦
It was a fair fight, and Hristov’s pocket pair held across the 6♠5♠4♦7♣A♦ runout.
Adewale Keshinro opened to 500,000 under the gun, and was met with a three-bet jam to 5,200,000 from Sofia Irene in the hijack. Action folded back to Keshinro, who snap-called with the covering stack
Sofia Irene: A♥J♠ Adewale Keshniro: A♣K♦
Irene was dominated and looked to be heading for the exits after the A♦9♠4♥ flop and 2♦ turn, but the J♣ hit on the river in unbelievable fashion to send her the double-up with two pair.
Sofia Irene – 11,000,000 Adewale Keshniro – 4,400,000
Sidharth Menda opened under the gun to 400,000, and Sebastian Constable called in the next seat with A♠Q♠.
John Squibb was in the big blind, and he moved all-in for 680,000. Menda rejammed for 3,400,000, and Constable folded after a significant period in the tank.
John Squibb: 9♥5♦ Sidharth Menda: K♠K♦
Squibb was crushed versus Menda’s cowboys, and there was no help on the J♣6♦4♥7♣5♠ runout.
Safak Senyuksel was all-in for 1,555,000 and at risk against Adewale Keshinro.
Safak Senyuksel: Q♠Q♣ Adewale Keshinro: A♦J♣
Senyuksel was in great shape versus a single overcard, but the ace was in the window on the A♥K♦6♥3♣10♣ runout, making him the first casualty of the final table.
Lotfi Boughanmi jammed for 1,075,000, and was called by Daniel Hunt, before Sofia Irene rejammed for around 2,800,000, with Hunt calling for the rest of his roughly 1,700,000 total stack.
Lotfi Boughanmi: 4♠4♦ Daniel Hunt: J♦J♣ Sofia Irene: K♦K♠
It was a battle of three pairs and Irene was in great shape with cowboys. She rivered trips to secure a double knockout on the A♣8♣7♥Q♣K♥ runout.

Lofti Boughanmi jammed from the button for 630,000, and was called by Daniel Hunt in the small blind, before Sebastian Constable three-bet jammed from the big blind with the covering stack. Hunt took a time bank before folding.

It was a flip, and Boughanmi held across the Q♠10♥3♥8♥6♥ runout.

Niall Farrell has lifted some of the most illustrious trophies in poker, and the affable Triple Crown winning Scotsman is looking to add PartyPoker Tour London Mini Main Event silverware to his mantle piece today, as he enters Day 3 sitting 8th out of 16 qualifiers, on 1,120,000.
The event attracted a total of 726 entrants, creating a £90,750 prize pool, obliterating the £50,000 guarantee, and a Day 2 field of 111 players was reduced to 16 by the end of play last night. All players have guaranteed a £680 payday, but will be targeting the £14,530 first-place prize.
In a field featuring relatively uneven chip distributions, Farrell’s 11 big blind stack is far from the shortest, and he will be hoping to leverage his experience of deep tournament runs to wrestle the chip lead from current leader, Sebastian Constable (5,150,000).
Sebastian Constable (Photo: Nunzia Esposito)
Constable caught serious momentum at the perfect time yesterday in Day 2. He had nursed a short-stack for most of the day, but in the final session was on the right end of two huge coolers, one resulting in a double knockout, that propelled him to the top of the standings.
Constable has already locked up his biggest recorded live tournament score, and he leads from Adewale Keshniro (4,055,000) and Sidharth Menda (3,180,000).
Sofia Irene (2,295,000) and Amber Loader (935,000) meanwhile will be hoping to become the first female winner of the Mini Main, taking inspiration from Zhen Zhen’s performance in Glasgow, where she bagged the Main Event title.

The players will return to Genting Casino, Stratford, at 3 p.m. local time today, where the clock will be increased to 40-minute levels, and play will continue until a winner is crowned.
Remaining Payouts
The remaining payouts the players are battling for are as follows:-
After 15 levels of play in Day 2 of the Main Event, a field of 111 players has been reduced to the last 16 players for the final day, with Sebastian Constable soaring to the top of the standings after bagging 5,150,000. Constable holds a slim lead over Adewale Keshinro (4,055,000), while Sidharth Menda completes the podium places (3,180,000).
Constable was a short-stack for much of the day, but caught some heat when he was on the right end of a cooler with rockets against Daniel Sumile’s queens, and then spiked the turn with Big Slick to bust two players in a monster pot in one of the last hands of the night.
Triple Crown winner Niall Farrell (1,120,000) also remains in the hunt for the title.
