Neil McCulloch, Pui Ng, Robert Patrascu, Liam Platt, Krisztian Toth and Damian Urban will have to fund another bullet in order to find a bag for Day 2.
M.P. opened to 3,200 from the hijack, and received a call from 2025 Player of the Year runner-up Deniz Orhan on the button, before PartyPoker Tour ambassador Daniel Garcia produced a three-bet to 14,500 from the button.
M.P. got out of the way, but Orhan made the call.
The K♥9♠6♦ flop was checked to the 10♣ turn, where Garcia check-called versus a bet of 10,700 from Orhan.
The 7♥ river completed the board, and Garcia check-jammed with the covering stack in the face of a double-barrel of 32,000 from Orhan.
Orhan called off for his 52,400 total stack, and tabled K♠8♠ for top pair which improved to a rivered one-card straight.
That improvement was required, as Garcia had K♦J♣.

Day 1c is scheduled to kick off at 8 p.m., and represents the penultimate chance for players to have a shot at emulating Michael Breen as a PartyPoker Tour Main Event champion.
Players will start with a 50,000 starting stack, and the clock will be set to 25-minute levels. Late registration remains open until the start of Level 10.
The final chance qualification route is the Day 1d hyper flight, which begins at 11 a.m. on July 11 and features 15-minute levels.
25% of the field qualify from each flight for Day 2, which is scheduled for July 11 at 4 p.m.
David Lappin’s first bullet was an unfortunately short spell at the felt, and he kindly recounted the story of his exit to poker.pro.
Lappin defended 7♠4♠ in the big blind and flopped a flush draw on A♥9♠5♠, and led with a bet of 3,500 three way. After the opener folded, the small blind check-raised to 11,000, and Lappin put her to the test for her 22,000 total stack.
A quick call didn’t look good for Lappin, and he was in bad shape up against A♠2♠. The runout were bricks, and Lappin was left with 31,000.
He got it in a couple of hands later four-bet jamming ace-queen from the button versus the small blind, and was up against pocket tens, with the Irishman again receiving no help from the runout.
Not to be deterred, Lappin is straight back into the action.

In the first, players receive a 20,000 starting stack, with the clock set to 15-minute levels, and late registration is open until the start of Level 9.
In the latter, £25 of the buy-in is apportioned as a bounty, and players again receive a 20,000 starting stack. The clock is set to 10-minute levels, and late registration remains open until the start of Level 10.

Day 1a of the £20,000 guaranteed, £250 buy-in PLO Masters kicked off at 5 p.m., and is the first of three starting flights.
Players will sit down to a 50,000 starting stack with the clock set to 30-minute levels, each of which will be ante free, and late registration is open until the start of Level 10.
A total of 15% of the field in each Day 1 will qualify for Day 2, scheduled for July 12 at 3 p.m., with the other flights at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on July 11, the final flight featuring 20-minute levels.
With 13,600 in the middle on a board of Q♦8♦3♦, Kartik check-called in the face of a bet of 4,000 from Sebastian Constable.
The same pattern followed on the 6♠ turn, this time in respect of a bet of 9,500 from Constable.
Constable checked back the 2♣ river, and the floor had to be called as to who should show first. It was Kartik, and he tabled Q♠J♥ for top pair, forcing Constable to muck.
Vitalie Grecul was counting out a bill of 37,400 to Conor O’Driscoll while looking slightly stunned, and the cause was a nut versus second nuts cooler.
There was around 42,000 in the middle, and the board read J♦6♣2♥10♣8♣, with A♣7♣ in front of O’Driscoll and K♣2♣ beside Grecul.
“Nice hand” acknowledged Grecul, after his debt had been settled.
David Lappin has just jumped in, and opened under the gun to 1,600.
He received a call from Kevin Marney, and while the A♦Q♠J♣ flop looked spicy, it was checked to the 8♣ turn.
There was no action there either, and the 7♥ hit on the river to complete the board. Lappin quickly check-called a bet of 3,000 from Marney, and his J♦7♦ for the rivered two pair was good versus Marney’s Q♥10♦.
Jitin Dhawan opened to 1,400 under the gun, and received calls from Dimitar Dimitrov in the hijack, Tai Tran on the button, and Robert Patrascu in the big blind.
The K♠7♣6♣ flop was checked to the 4♦ turn, where action was checked to Tran. He fired out a bet of 3,000, and Patrascu called, before Dhawan produced a check-raise to 10,000.
The move caused consternation from his opponents, and after a spell of thought from each individual, all three ended up sending their hands to the muck.

A pot of 21,000 had brewed by the turn on a board of 10♠8♥6♠7♠, in a hand between Getnet Kassa in the big blind, Mohammed Kapadia in middle position, and K.A. on the button.
Action was checked to K.A., who fired out a bet of 11,500, which only Kassa called.
The 4♥ river was checked through, and Kassa’s 8♦7♥ for the flopped straight was good versus K.A.’s Q♠10♣ for top pair.
A chunky pot of 12,400 had brewed by the turn on a board of A♦7♥4♥Q♠, in a hand between inaugural PartyPoker Tour London champion Getnet Kassa on the button, and Ioan Deac in the small blind.
Deac check-called a bet of 11,000 from Kassa to see the 2♣ river, where he took an age before checking.
Kassa also took some time before knuckling his option, and Deac grimaced as he tabled 7♣7♦ for a set of sevens, Kassa not falling into his trap with Q♥6♥.

Ben Skinner of England has emerged as the last player standing from a 617-runner field in the 2026 PartyPoker Tour London (Summer Edition) £150 Mini Main Event, taking the trophy and securing a career-best score of £14,300 after a heads-up deal with Carlos Estivill of Argentina (£11,950).
The deal left only the destination of the trophy, and the final £2,500 of the £87,125 prize pool, to be determined, and Skinner fought back from a significant deficit to wrestle the trophy from his foe.
It was the second comeback from Skinner on the final day, after he started the final table as the short-stack on five big blinds. A double-up with kings, and a triple-up with ace-jack, got the champion moving in the right direction, and he rode that momentum all the way to the title, overcoming PartyPoker Tour Ambassadors Sam Acheampong and Jaime Staples in the process.

Winner’s Reaction
Skinner, a Genting Casino Stratford regular, was delighted to be standing with the trophy, and said “It feels very surprising. At the start of the final table I was short, got the triple-up, and then won pretty much every all-in I needed to.”
“I turned down the deal three-handed as I just didn’t think it made sense. At heads-up, the numbers looked better and we agreed things very quickly. The redemption point heads-up was the queen-ten hand, and that was good timing, as I had started to think this is maybe looking difficult. That gave me a good boost, and from there I just stuck to my strategy, and thankfully it worked.”
Skinner, who describes himself as a serious amateur, welcomed the bankroll boost, saying “It will help with maybe playing a few more tournaments around the UK, and maybe more online. I love the PartyPoker Tour, the structures are great, especially on Day 1. It never turns into too much of a turbo, and its pretty unique with so many different variants in the side-events.”
Final Day Recap
Only 14 players returned for the final day, with PartyPoker Tour Ambassadors Sam Acheampong leading the way, and Jaime Staples in hot pursuit, while Skinner was second last in the standings.
Sam Acheampong (Photo: Nunzia Esposito)
Acheampong claimed the first knockout of the day when Baptiste Auger jammed with an inferior pair, before Ayush Gandhi and Dimitar Dimitrov disposed of two anonymous players. Florin Stirzu was next to go, and the final table was set when James Korek ran into aces.
Acheampong still led the way at the outset of the final table, and Skinner was in dead last. The eventual champion picked up kings quickly to double through Acheampong, whose aces were then derailed by Estivill’s deuces.
Staples held in a flip to make Dimitrov the first casualty of the final table, and rockets were kinder to Acheampong the second time around to bust Timothy Scott in eighth.
In the key hand of the tournament for the champion, a huge three-way all-in erupted between Skinner, Staples and Acheampong, with Skinner securing the triple-up with ace-jack, while Acheampong sent Staples to the rail in the side pot.
Skinner took the lead for the first time when he took a three-bet pot from Acheampong, but Acheampong quickly held in a flip against Mohamed Kader to regain momentum and send Kader out in sixth.
Acheampong crashed out in fourth after losing successive hands against Estivill, who then proceeded to take the overall lead with some aggressive play, after brief deal discussions failed to bear fruit.
Carlos Estivill (Photo: Nunzia Esposito)
Stanley had battled hard to make the podium places, but he would have to settle for bronze after being eliminated by Skinner. Skinner would start heads-up play at a slight disadvantage, and the deal with Estivill was quickly agreed, leaving £2,500 and the trophy to play for.
A lengthy heads-up battle of almost two hours ensued, with neither party being prepared to go down without a fight. Estivill extended his lead after hitting trips, and left Skinner on the ropes after successive brutal hands.
A fascinating heads-up battle was brought to its conclusion when Estivill committed his stack with a pocket pair, but was counterfeited on the river by the victor, leaving Skinner to celebrate a career-best score and famous win on home soil.
Ben Skinner has taken the trophy in the £150 Mini Main Event, completing a remarkable comeback as the final table short-stack, and then again when facing a significant heads-up deficit against Carlos Estivill.
Skinner banks a new career-best live tournament score of £14,300. Stay tuned for a recap of the final day and an interview with the champion.
Ben Skinner raised to 800,000 from the button, and quickly called a three-bet jam of 7,500,000 from Carlos Estivill.
Carlos Estivill: 6♥6♦ Ben Skinner: A♣J♥
With the title on the line, Estivill was ahead in a flip, and he remained so after the 9♠9♥8♠ flop.
The 10♠ hit on the turn to give Skinner additional outs to the straight, and it was followed by the 10♥ river to counterfeit Estivill in cruel fashion, and send Skinner the trophy.
The players warmly shook hands and shared a few words, before Skinner was left to collect the trophy.
Carlos Estivill raised to 800,000 from the button with 8♦7♣, and Ben Skinner defended with Q♣4♣.
On the A♠Q♥9♥ flop, Skinner check-called in the face of a bet of 700,000 from his opponent.
The 3♦ rolled off on the turn, and the same pattern followed, this time in respect of a bet of 1,300,000 from Estivill.
The 9♠ river completed the board, and Skinner checked for a third time. Estivill fired out a bet of 4,700,000 with eight-high, and after a good spell in the tank, Skinner found an excellent call with second pair.
Ben Skinner – 20,000,000 Carlos Estivill – 8,300,000
Late registration has now closed in Day 1a of the £100,000 guaranteed Main Event, which attracted a total of 62 entrants.
With 25% of the field set to qualify for Day 2, Day 1a will conclude when the field is reduced to 16 players, or the end of Level 16 is reached, whichever is earlier.
Ben Skinner raised to 600,000 from the button with 9♠7♥, and Carlos Estivill defended 10♣8♣.
The A♥A♣9♥ flop was checked to the 7♦ turn, where Estivill check-raised to 3,200,000 in the face of a bet of 1,200,000 from Skinner, forcing a fold from Skinner with the best hand.
Carlos Estivill – 17,000,000 Ben Skinner – 12,000,000
Michael Stanley raised to 600,000 from the small blind with A♣9♥, and was faced with a three-bet to 1,500,000 from Carlos Estivill with 5♣4♣ in the big blind.
Stanley called to see the 6♥5♦2♣ flop, where he check-called in the face of a bet of 800,000 from Estivill.
The 5♠ turn paired the board and gave Estivill trips, and Stanley check-folded versus a bet of 1,800,000 from Estivill.
Carlos Estivill – 15,000,000 Michael Stanley – 4,600,000
After brief deal discussions failed to bear fruit, Ben Skinner limped from the small blind with Q♦7♦, and Michael Stanley knuckled 10♦4♠ in the big blind.
On the Q♠J♥10♠ flop, Skinner led out with a bet of 300,000, which failed to shake off Stanley.
The J♠ hit on the turn, and was checked through to the 4♣ river.
Skinner checked, and Stanley fired out a bet of 800,000. Skinner quickly called, and took the pot with the better two pair.
Ben Skinner – 12,000,000 Michael Stanley – 6,800,000
On the return from break, Sam Acheampong got an all-in through with pocket deuces, a walk in the big blind with pocket kings, and a jam through with king-six from the small blind.
In the next hand, Acheampong was all-in for 4,100,000 from the button, and was looked up by Carlos Estivill in the big blind for his 3,200,000 stack.
Carlos Estivill: K♥10♦ Sam Acheampong: 3♥3♣
It was off to the races, but Estivill hit the front on the 10♣7♦4♦ flop, and Acheampong could not reverse the position on the remaining 8♦4♥ runout.
A hand later, Acheampong was left with 950,000 in the big blind in the next hand. Estivill jammed from the small blind, and Acheampong called off.
Sam Acheampong: 9♣7♥ Carlos Estivill: Q♥3♦
Acheampong needed help, but he bricked the J♠10♠6♠K♠5♣ runout, spelling the end of the road for the popular PartyPoker Tour Team member.
Ben Skinner – 11,000,000 Michael Stanley – 8,400,000 Carlos Estivill – 8,200,000 Sam Acheampong – 0
Michael Stanley opened to 400,000 from under the gun with K♦Q♦, and folded to a three-bet jam of 3,200,000 from Carlos Estivill in the cutoff with A♥J♥.
Carlos Estivill – 4,300,000 Michael Stanley – 3,700,000
Ayush Gandhi opened to 320,000 from early position with A♥3♥, and was met with a three-bet jam from Jaime Staples in the small blind of 1,400,000 with 6♠6♦.
Ben Skinner was in the big blind and folded 5♠5♥, and Gandhi followed suit after a brief period of deliberation.

With London gripped by a heatwave, along with World Cup and Wimbledon fever, the temperature is sure to rise further at Genting Casino Stratford today, June 9, as 14 players return at 4 p.m. local time for the final day of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour London (Summer Edition) Mini Main Event.
The last players left standing are led by PartyPoker Tour Team member Sam Acheampong (4,980,000), with PartyPoker Ambassador Jaime Staples (2,600,000) at the front of the chasing pack, along with Thomas Scott (3,170,000) and Ayush Gandhi (2,785,000), after two days of play whittled down the field of 697 entries.
Acheampong is looking to add to an impressive 18 recorded live victories, while Staples has recorded three wins, including lifting the trophy in the £150 NLH event in Sheffield at the PartyPoker Tour stop in February.
Jaime Staples. Photo: Nunzia Esposito
Gandhi is also in good form, with all but one of his 35 recorded cashes taking place in the last two years. He will be hoping to run better than his fourth place finish in the £200 NLH event in Sheffield, while players such as Ben Skinner (830,000) and Baptiste Auger (1,220,000) will be hoping to spin up relative short-stacks early. (All figures courtesy of The Hendon Mob.)
The players will have their eyes firmly set on the chunky £16,000 top prize, representing the lion’s share of the £87,125 prize pool, comfortably in excess of the £50,000 guarantee.

poker.pro‘s reporting today will focus on the Mini Main Event, and we will be on the floor from cards in the air until the trophy is hoisted, so stay tuned for all your coverage of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour London (Summer Edition).
During the last hand of the day, PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Sam Acheampong opened to 250,000 UTG. Seated in the Big Blind, PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples was the sole caller.
Both players checked the 7♥5♥9♥ flop. Staples bet 350,000 on the 9♣ turn, then called a 750,000 raise from Acheampong. Staples slowed down and checked the Q♣ river, then folded to another 750,000 from Acheampong.
With that, Day 2 came to an end. Fourteen players are bagging for Day 3, which will commence tomorrow, July 9, at 16:00. poker.pro live reporter Christoffer Karlén now bids farewell, and will leave the blog in the very competent hands of Richard Hayes from tomorrow onwards. Below are all results from today; stay tuned for the Day 3 chip counts.
Marius-Flaviu Scheul-Feldrihan opened to 250,000 UTG. Seated in the Lo-jack, Michael Stanley was the sole caller.
Scheul-Feldrihan continued for 325,000 on the 6♣8♣J♥ flop, and Stanley then decided to go all in for roughly 1,600,000. “I’ll gamble,” Scheul-Feldrihan said, and made the call for his tournament life, playing 1,500,000 on the dot.
Michael Stanley: A♠K♦ Marius-Flaviu Scheul-Feldrihan: Q♠J♣
Somewhat to his surprise, Scheul-Feldrihan was ahead. It wouldn’t last for long, though, as Stanley took the lead on the K♣ turn. No help for Scheul-Feldrihan on the 2♥ river, and he was eliminated in fifteenth place for £650.
“Dr. Scott” opened to 190,000 UTG before Florin-Vasile Sturzu moved all in for roughly 1,300,000 from the Hi-jack. Then, Michael Stanley too shoved for 790,000. “Dr. Scott” folded, and Stanley took his chips back; he had completely missed the action from Sturzu. He wasn’t too sad when he was forced to table his holdings, though.
Florin-Vasile Sturzu: 3♥3♣ Michael Stanley: K♣K♦
“What’s going on here?!” PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Sam Acheampong shouted, humored by Stanley’s misunderstanding. The Cowboys of Stanley were good on the 2♠6♣7♦10♠2♣ board, and Sturzu was left with coffee money.
Michael Stanley: 1,600,000 Florin-Vasile Sturzu: 300,000
Seated in the Lo-jack, Marius-Flaviu Scheul-Feldrihan decided to limp the 80,000 Big Blind. “Mr. X” (Cut-off) and “Mr. Y” (Small Blind) followed suit before Baptiste Auger moved all in for 2,150,000. Scheul-Feldrihan committed his 1,005,000 stack to make the call before the remaining players folded.
Auger was way ahead, but it was Scheul-Feldrihan who benefited from the 5♥10♠9♠ flop. For good measure, he improved to quads on the 7♥9♥ runout to double up.
Action folded to chip leader Florin-Vasile Sturzu, who opened to 160,000 from the Cut-off. PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples then made it 400,000 on the Button. Back to Sturzu, who four-bet to 1,000,000. Staples called, and a small crowd gathered around the table.
Sturzu bet 1,200,000 on the 5♥2♠6♠ flop, and Jaime moved all in for roughly 1,500,000. Being priced in, Sturzu made the call.
Jaime Staples: A♥A♦ Florin-Vasile Sturzu: J♠J♣
Staples was well ahead, and as the board completed with 4♠7♥, he won the ridiculously large pot. He became the new chip leader, while Sturzu lost the majority of his stack.
The remaining 16 players are enjoying the final 15-minute break of the day. Play will conclude after two more levels or once the nine-handed final table is reached, whichever comes first. Below are the full chip counts.
Action folded to Florin-Vasile Sturzu, who limped from the Small Blind. PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples checked his Big Blind.
After an initial check from Sturzu, Staples bet 80,000 on the 10♦2♠4♦ flop. Sturzu then completed a check-raise move to 250,000, and Staples made the call.
Staples called 300,000 from Sturzu on the 7♠ turn, and then another 500,000 on the A♠ river.
Sturzu only showed the K♥ before mucking. Staples revealed his A♣4♣ holdings.
James Smith open-shoved 230,000 from the Hi-jack. Lawrence Graham then re-shoved for 515,000 from the Cut-off and successfully isolated himself with Smith.
James Smith: 9♦7♦ Lawrence Graham: K♦J♥
Smith took the lead on the 3♣9♣4♦ flop, but Graham caught up on the 4♥J♣ runout. As such, Smith became the next casualty.
Ayush Gandhi opened to 100,000 from the Lo-jack, and Marius-Flaviu Scheul-Feldrihan (Hi-jack) and Aleksandr Biriukov (Button) both made the call. “Send it,” PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples then said, as he moved all in for 635,000 from the Big Blind. Gandhi and Scheul-Feldrihan both folded, but Biriukov decided to make the call.
Jaime Staples: A♣J♦ Aleksandr Biriukov: K♣J♥
Staples had his opponent dominated, and there were no unpleasant surprises for him as the board spelled out 2♥Q♥8♣7♣3♣.
Jaime Staples: 1,495,000 Aleksandr Biriukov: 500,000
The board read 9♣5♣J♦ with what looked to be 160,000 in the middle. Guy Duggan (Big Blind) checked to “Mr. X”, who bet 115,000. Duggan then completed a check-raise move to 400,000, and “Mr. X” made the call.
Duggan wasted little time before moving all in for 610,000 on the 3♠ turn. After putting one 30-second timebank chip to good use, “Mr. X” made the call, being the player at risk with 570,000.
Guy Duggan: K♣2♣ “Mr. X”: Q♥9♠
A sublime call from “Mr. X,” and he was rewarded for his feat, as the 10♠ river didn’t complete Duggan’s flush.

PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples opened to 60,000 UTG. After some consideration, Alexander Beveridge moved all in for 260,000 on the Button. After getting the count confirmed, Staples made the call.
Alexander Beveridge: J♦J♥ Jaime Staples: A♦10♠
Beveridge had a solid lead, but Staples immediately claimed the driver’s seat on the A♥9♣2♥ flop. It wasn’t for long, though; Beveridge was back in front on the J♠ turn, and the 8♦ didn’t affect the outcome.
Alexander Beveridge: 595,000 Jaime Staples: 575,000
“Mr. X” opened to 60,000 from the Hi-jack, and was then faced with a 175,000 three-bet from Guy Duggan on the Button. “Mr. X” decided to force his opponent all in for 645,000, and Duggan made the call.
“Mr. X”: 6♥6♣ Guy Duggan: A♥5♥
“Mr. X” maintained his lead on the 8♣Q♥4♦ flop, but momentum swung on the A♦ turn. The 2♠ river ultimately extended Duggan’s tournament life.
Action folded to Aleksandr Biriukov, who open-shoved for perhaps 220,000 on the Button. PartyPoker Tour regular Jake George made the call for his tournament life from the Big Blind, playing ever so slightly less than Biriukov.
Aleksandr Biriukov: A♥K♦ Jake George: K♥Q♠
George was already in rough shape, and he wasn’t close to producing a miracle on the 7♠6♠A♣A♦9♠ board.
Action folded to PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples, who opened to 50,000 from the Cut-off. Seated right next to him, PartyPoker Tour regular Jacob George moved all in for 90,000 on the Button. When the decision was back on Staples, he made the call.
Jacob George: J♠10♠ Jaime Staples: K♦J♥
George was dominated, but the Q♠5♠4♥ brought some hope. He picked up an additional straight draw on the 8♥ turn, and the 9♠ ultimately saw him improving to a flush and securing a full double-up at the expense of Staples.
Action folded to PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples, who opened to 40,000. “Mr. X” decided to defend his big Blind.
“Mr. X” check-called 25,000 from Staples on the 8♠6♠K♣ flop. Both players checked the 5♣ turn, and “Mr. X” then bet 75,000 on the 5♠ river. Staples now decided to make it 200,000. After a minute’s worth of consideration, “Mr. X” folded.
Sam Acheampong is the sole PartyPoker Tour Ambassador left in the field. After his opponent made it 120,000 from the Small Blind, Acheampong forced him all in for 260,000 in total. “The Villain” made the call.
Sam Acheampong: A♥10♣ Villain: A♠9♦
The flop potentially was 2♠8♠K♦. What is certain is that the turn was the 3♠, giving Acheampong’s opponent the flush dras. The river was something like 5♥, which secured Acheampong the crucial pot.
Big-stacked Mohammad Joian opened to 39,000 on the Hi-jack, and was then faced with a 327,000 shove from Guy Duggan from the Small Blind. Joian made the call without hesitation.
Guy Duggan: K♦Q♦ Mohammad Joian: J♥J♠
Duggan immediately took a solid lead on the Q♥10♠5♥ flop, and he never looked back as the board spelled out 2♣7♦.
Masoud Etemadiherisi opened to 28,000 UTG. Antonio Bounicontro then moved all in for 147,000 from the Small Blind, and Etemadiherisi made the call.
Antonio Bounicontro: J♣J♥ Masoud Etemadiherisi: A♥K♥
It was a classic coin flip confrontation. Etemadiherisi received additional outs on the 9♣3♥10♥ flop, but Bounicontro managed to dodge disaster on the 2♣2♠ runout to double up.

The remaining X players in Day 2 of the £150 Mini Main Event are currently on the first 20-minute break of the day. They will soon resume play on Level 18. Below are the biggest stacks in the room that this poker.pro live reporter was able to identify.
“Mr. X” opened to 20,000 from UTG+2. “Mr. Y” made the call on the Button, and Ben Skinner decided to defend his Big Blind.
Action was checked to “Mr. Y” on the 7♠2♣6♥ flop, who continued for 20,000. Skinner folded before “Mr. X” made the call. Both players checked the J♥ flop before “Mr. Y” called a 25,000 bet from “Mr. X” on the A♠ river.
“Mr. X”: K♠6♠ “Mr. Y”: A♥9♦
Rivered top pair was enough for “Mr. Y” to take down the pot and add to his already impressive stack.
Michael Moore was recently eliminated in seventy-second place, meaning the 71 players left have all made the first payjump and now secured £330. Below are those who earned £300.
PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples opened to 20,000 from the Lo-jack. “Mr. X” (Cut-off) and Pyungte Kim (Button) both made the call before Mohammad Joian made it 65,000 from the Small Blind. Staples and “Mr. X” both made the call before Kim folded.
Joian continued for 48,000 on the 5♦9♥A♦ flop. Staples folded swiftly, but “Mr. X” put one 30-second timebank chip to use before throwing his cards into the muck.
Joian has a very healthy stack, and Staples himself doesn’t look too shabby, having way more than the 227,000 he started the day with.
Mohammad Joian: 1,100,000 Jaime Staples: 522,000 “Mr. X”: 210,000
Karim Louis open-shoved 64,000 from the Hi-jack. Mark Fernandes re-shoved for 124,000 from the Small Blind, and the two contestants soon tabled their holdings.
Karim Louis: A♠5♥ Mark Fernandes: 8♥8♠
Louis couldn’t find an acce or any other help on the 9♣4♦K♥Q♦6♣ board. With a set of eights, Fernandes saw Louis off.
The Day 1d chip leader, Marius-Flaviu Scheul-Feldrihan, opened to 12,000 from the Lo-jack. Seated in the Cut-off, “Mr. X” made the call.
Scheul-Feldrihan bet 14,000 on the 9♣K♥8♥ flop, and then called a 28,000 raise from “Mr. X.” Both players checked the K♦ turn, and after another check from Scheul-Feldrihan on the 6♥ river, “Mr. X” sized up to 75,000. After a minute’s worth of consideration, Scheul-Feldrihan made the call.
Much to Scheul-Feldrihan’s displeasure, “Mr. X” tabled K♣8♣ for a full house. There’s a good chance “Mr. X” is the first one to reach a seven-digit stack.
Yi Gu opened to 10,000 from UTG+1. James Smith (Small Blind) and Victor Hairapetyan (Big Blind) both made the call.
All three players checked the 3♠6♠6♥ flop. Action was checked to Gu on the 5♠ turn, who scouted the terrain with a 12,000 bet. Both of his opponents made the call, and the dealer revealed the 9♠ river. It was checked again to Gu, who now sized up to 75,000. Smith mucked before Hairapetyan made the call.
Gu tabled A♠A♦ for the nut flush. Hairapetyan revealed J♠10♣ before mucking.
The payouts for the £150 Mini Main Event have now been announced. All players are guaranteed a £300 min-cash; up top is a juicy £16,000 first-place payout.
Day 1f of the £150 Mini Main Event wrapped up roughly 20 minutes ago, with PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Glenn Brown sadly becoming the unfortunate bubble boy. The poker.pro editorial office will soon return with the payouts, before hitting the floor for some interesting hand coverage.

The sixth and final starting-day flight of the tournament attracted 110 entries, and 17 made it through to Day 2. That means the numbers are now confirmed: a total of 697 entries were made in the tournament, which has created a £87,125 prize pool. One hundred five players made Day 2, which just kicked off.
The poker.pro editorial office will soon return with the payouts, before hitting the floor for some interesting hand coverage.
The temperature’s not the only thing that brings the heat to Genting Casino Stratford today, as the fifth day of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour London (Summer Edition) is the busiest day of the festival so far.
Day 1f of the £150 Mini Main Event is currently ongoing. The sixth and final starting-day flight attracted 110 entries, and 17 will make it through to Day 2, which kicks off at 18:00. All in all, the tournament has attracted a combined 697 entries, which translates to a £87,125 prize pool; well over the £50,000 guarantee.
There are three side events on today’s schedule, including the prestigious £1,000 PLO Masters High Roller 6-Max. The poker.pro live blog will mostly focus on Day 2, though.

Action folded to Sandra Reid, who open-shoved 101,000 on the Button. Ryan Wakefield made the call from the Big Blind, and as soon as action wrapped up on the other tables, the two players were given the green light to table their holdings.
Sandra Reid: 2♦2♠ Ryan Wakefield: 9♦9♣
As if Reid wasn’t already in bad shape enough, Wakefield took an overwhelming lead on the K♥9♥A♥ flop. No miracle for Reid on the 7♣K♠ runout, and she became the unfortunate bubble girl.
That wraps up today’s action; thanks to everyone who’s been following along with the live blog today. Tomorrow, the blog will go live at 18:00 and cover every knook and cranny of the action in Day 2. Before that, though, the chip counts of Day 1d, Day 1e, and Day 1f will be uploaded.
Tautvydas Jurkstas open-shoved 56,000 from the Lo-jack. Seated right next to him, Jay Sharman re-shoved for 108,000. Soon, the two contestants tabled their holdings.
Tautvydas Jurkstas: A♠Q♣ Jay Sharman: A♣A♥
The Q♦7♠J♥ flop brought some hope to Jurkstas, but as the board completed with 4♠5♠, his tournament life came to an end.
Jay Sharman open-shoved 86,000 UTG. Marius-Flaviu Scheul-Feldrihan re-shoved for roughly 350,000 from the Small Blind, and the two contestants were soon heads-up to the flop.
Jay Sharman: A♠Q♦ Marius-Flaviu Scheul-Feldrihan: A♥K♦
Sharman realized he was in rough shape, and he prepared to rise from his chair. He sat back down once he saw the Q♠7♦8♠ flop, and as the board completed with 10♦10♣, his tournament life was extended.
Marius-Flaviu Scheul-Feldrihan: 240,000 Jay Sharman: 184,000
