As an official media partner, our team at poker.pro will be on-site at the 2026 PartyPoker Tour London at Genting Casino Stratford, covering key hands and biggest moments. Don’t miss a moment of the action as we bring you exclusive live updates from the tour’s third UK stop of the year.
Action folded to Sandra Reid, who open-shoved 101,000 on the Button. Ryan Wakefield made the call from the Big Blind, and as soon as action wrapped up on the other tables, the two players were given the green light to table their holdings.
Sandra Reid: 2♦2♠ Ryan Wakefield: 9♦9♣
As if Reid wasn’t already in bad shape enough, Wakefield took an overwhelming lead on the K♥9♥A♥ flop. No miracle for Reid on the 7♣K♠ runout, and she became the unfortunate bubble girl.
That wraps up today’s action; thanks to everyone who’s been following along with the live blog today. Tomorrow, the blog will go live at 18:00 and cover every knook and cranny of the action in Day 2. Before that, though, the chip counts of Day 1d, Day 1e, and Day 1f will be uploaded.
Tautvydas Jurkstas open-shoved 56,000 from the Lo-jack. Seated right next to him, Jay Sharman re-shoved for 108,000. Soon, the two contestants tabled their holdings.
Tautvydas Jurkstas: A♠Q♣ Jay Sharman: A♣A♥
The Q♦7♠J♥ flop brought some hope to Jurkstas, but as the board completed with 4♠5♠, his tournament life came to an end.
Jay Sharman open-shoved 86,000 UTG. Marius-Flaviu Scheul-Feldrihan re-shoved for roughly 350,000 from the Small Blind, and the two contestants were soon heads-up to the flop.
Jay Sharman: A♠Q♦ Marius-Flaviu Scheul-Feldrihan: A♥K♦
Sharman realized he was in rough shape, and he prepared to rise from his chair. He sat back down once he saw the Q♠7♦8♠ flop, and as the board completed with 10♦10♣, his tournament life was extended.
Marius-Flaviu Scheul-Feldrihan: 240,000 Jay Sharman: 184,000
Michael Moore opened to 11,000 from the Hi-jack. Seated on the Button, Marius-Flaviu Scheul-Feldrihan was the sole caller.
Moore continued for 15,000 on the K♣2♣2♦ flop, and Scheul-Feldrihan snap-called. Moore proceeded by checking the 3♦ turn, then it was his turn to snap-call 22,000 from Scheul-Feldrihan. Moore reclaimed the driver’s seat with a 50,000 bet on the 9♣ river, and Scheul-Feldrihan made the call.
Scheul-Feldrihan was visibly annoyed to see that Moore had rivered a flush with A♣10♦ to secure the pot.
Michael Moore: 490,000 Marius-Flaviu Scheul-Feldrihan: 262,000
Dillan Patel min-raised to 10,000 from the Lo-jack. Yi Gu made it 22,000 from the Cut-off; “Mr. X” made the call from the Big Blind before Patel swiftly folded.
Both players checked the A♥J♦A♣ flop, and the 9♠ turn. “Mr. X” bet 10,000 on the 4♠ river, and Gu utilized two 30-second timebank chips before making the call.
“Mr. X”: 8♥8♦ Yi Gu: Q♦Q♥
Gu’s pocket queens were good, and he claimed the pot.
Angel Popov opened to 12,000 from the Hi-jack, and was then faced with a 114,000 shove from Robert Ayton from the Big Blind. After receiving the count, Popov made the call.
Robert Ayton: Q♠Q♦ Angel Popov: A♦9♦
Ayton maintained his lead on the J♣3♣8♣ flop. The 7♣ turn brought a fourth spade to the board, and this poker.pro live reporter got flashbacks from a similar hand from yesterday’s Day 1b. No fifth club on the board this time, though; the 2♥ river secured Ayton a full double-up.
The remaining players are now on what is destined to be the final 20-minute break of the day. Only X more will have to go before the survivors can bag their chips for Day 2. Below are the biggest stacks this poker.pro live reporter was able to identify during the break.
“Mr.X” opened to 10,000 from UTG+2. “Mr. Y” decided to defend his Big Blind.
Both players checked the A♣8♥7♦ flop. “Mr. Y” checked again on the 5♠ turn, and “Mr. X” dipped his toes in the waters with a 15,000 bet. “Mr. Y” then completed a check-raise move to 45,000. “Mr. X” made the call, and the dealer introduced the Q♣ river. “Mr. Y” moved all in for 58,000, and “Mr. X” snap-called.
“Mr. Y”: 6♥4♣ “Mr. X”: A♥A♦
Quite the unfortunate scenario for “Mr. X,” who survived with roughly 14 Big Blinds.
Angel Popov opened to 6,000 from UTG+1. Jay Sharman (Cut-off) and “Mr. X” (Big Blind) both made the call.
After a check from “Mr. X,” Popov bet 10,000 on the A♠8♠7♠ flop. Sharman utilized one 30-second timebank chip before making the call, and “Mr. X” mucked swiftly. Popov then sized up to 33,000 on the 8♣ turn, and Sharman then fancied a raise to 54,000. It didn’t take too long before Popov let his hand go. Popov is still one of the biggest stacks as of now.
While Day 1d of the £150 Mini Main Event is currently on Level 2, there is a lot going on at Genting Casino Stratford.
Day 1e, the turbo flight, kicked off 20 minutes ago. Some recognizable names in that are PartyPoker Tour regular Hady Sirbu and Lithuanian player Audrius Navickas. This is the second-to-last chance for players to qualify for Day 2; the Day 1f hyper turbo flight will kick off tomorrow, July 8, at 12:00.
Meanwhile, the £60 poker.pro PL Deuce-to-Seven Triple Draw is on its first break. There are many prominent Mixed Games players in the field, such as 2025 PartyPoker Tour London (Summer Edition) £60 poker.pro PL H.O.R.S.E. winner Vadims Veksins, three-time PartyPoker Tour trophy winner Henry Owen, PLO Masters founder/UK poker legend JJ Hazan, and PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Rebecca Hardisty.
Rikki McDonnell limped the 2,500 Big Blind from the Lo-jack. Marius-Flaviu Scheul-Feldrihan made the call on the Button before Lewis Henderson checked his Big Blind.
After an initial check from Henderson, McDonnell bet 3,000 on the Q♠8♣A♣ flop. Scheul-Feldrihan made the call while Henderson decided to let his hand go. Schedul called 6,000 from McDonnell on the 7♥ turn, and then another 10,000 on the 5♥ river.
Scheul-Feldrihan was visibly annoyed to see that McDonnell had rivered two-pair with A♦5♦. Whether he had a better ace, we’ll never know.
Late registration closed with 139 entries in Day 1d of the £150 Mini Main Event. Considering all starting-day flights of the tournament are playing down to 15% of the field, 21 players should make it through to Day 2. That number has yet to be confirmed, though.
The players are soon returning from the second 20-minute break of the day. When Level 10 kicks off, late registration will be closed. Below are the biggest stacks in the room as of now.
Timothy Biggs limped UTG before PartyPoker Tour regular Hady Sirbu made it 2,000 from the Hi-jack. Seyed Hosseinizad (Smal Blind), James Hampton (Big Blind), and Biggs all made the call.
All players checked the 6♦9♠10♥ flop. Hosseinizad bet 5,700 on the Q♦ turn, and all of his competition mucked. As he was raking in his newly won chips, Hosseinizad flashed the 6♣. Playing triple the average stack, things seem to be going good for Hosseinizad.

Last year, PartyPoker made its much-anticipated return to the live poker scene, as the 2025 PartyPoker Tour was born. The tour consisted of five stops (all in the UK), and the successful first year is why the tour is expanding to Spain this year.
The 2025 PartyPoker Tour wrapped up with its fifth and final stop at the same place it began: Genting Casino Stratford, London. As is always the case with the PartyPoker Tour, the £500 Main Event headlined the schedule, and considering the biggest-ever PartyPoker Tour Main Event to date went down in London during the inaugural stop of the tour last year, the expectations were high for yet another big turnout in the English capital.
The Main Event during the 2025 PartyPoker Tour Winter Edition attracted 399 entries, creating a £177,555 prize pool. In other words, the £100,000 guarantee was smashed in stellar fashion. After three days of intense poker action, it was Thomas Sanderson who emerged victorious, claiming the £27,780 first-place prize and the trophy. Sanderson, by the way, is on-site here in Madrid, and he bagged in Day 1a of the €500 Main Event.
Then, there was also the £150 Mini Main Event. A total of 726 entries translated to a £90,750 prize pool; the £50,000 guarantee was almost doubled. The tournament was a smashing success, and victory would belong to André Emerenciano, who emerged victorious and cashed for £14,530.
The PartyPoker Tour will return to Genting Casino Stratford, London, in 2026. It has been announced that the tour will pay the English capital a visit July 4-12, and considering the numbers the two previous London stops have delivered, players should have high expectations.
This poker.pro live reporter didn’t think Day 1d would be such a busy flight, but that has not been the case. Over 100 entries with three more levels of late registration to go; this could become one of the biggest starting-day flights.
Two familiar faces in the mix are PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Glenn Brown and 2025 PartyPoker Tour Manchester £500 Main Event winner Deniz Orhan.
Deniz Orhan, winner of the £500 Main Event during the 2025 PartyPoker Tour Manchester. Photo: Nunzia Esposito
Last year, PartyPoker made its much-anticipated return to the live poker scene, as the 2025 PartyPoker Tour was born. The tour consisted of five stops (all in the UK), and the successful first year is why the tour is expanding to Spain this year.
The second stop of the 2025 tour was held at the picturesque Manchester235 Casino in Manchester. The £500 Main Event attracted 257 entries, generating a £107,248 prize pool. Deniz Orhan managed to conquer the field, taking home £19,843 after making a deal. Orhan is also here in Madrid, and he bagged in yesterday’s Day 1a flight of the €150 Mini Main Event.
The £150 Mini Main Event in Manchester was claimed by Ion Oprea. He maneuvered his way through the field that consisted of 418 entries, ultimately claiming the £8,885 first-place prize, which was the biggest slice of the £52,710 prize pool. Oprea followed up his Mini Main Event win with a third-place finish in the Main Event.

Last year, PartyPoker made its much-anticipated return to the live poker scene, as the 2025 PartyPoker Tour was born. The tour consisted of five stops (all in the UK), and this year, there are nine: four in the UK, four in Spain, and one in Ireland.
The first event ever of the tour was the 2025 PartyPoker Tour London, played at Genting Casino Stratford (back then, it was known as Aspers Casino). The festival featured 12 unique events, where the £150 Mini Main Event and the £500 Main Event were arguably the two most prestigious events.
The £150 Mini Main Event scored an impressive 866 entries, translating to a £109,200 prize pool. Local player Dost Ghrabie claimed the win, beating poker legend Will Kassouf heads-up and taking home £17,170.
The 2025 PartyPoker Tour London wasn’t the ordinary live poker festival. It was a statement from PartyPoker: the event hit it out of the park and set a standard for the remainder of the 2025 tour. Even though the inaugural event was a slam-dunk, PartyPoker continually improved leading up to each subsequent stop. Looking back at a great first year for the PartyPoker Tour, it’s safe to say the entity now has some meat on its bones.

Last year, PartyPoker made its much-anticipated return to the live poker scene, as the 2025 PartyPoker Tour was born. The tour consisted of five stops (all in the UK), and the successful first year is why the tour is expanding to Spain this year.
The third stop of the 2025 PartyPoker tour was in Glasgow. The legendary PokerBrand took over Alea Casino for a week; it’s an utterly beautiful casino with the most amazing view over the River Clyde.
The £500 Main Event featured a Cinderella story, as exchange student Zhen Zhen navigated her way through the field that consisted of 256 entries. For her win, Zhen was awarded £22,500, the largest chunk of the £111,821 prize pool.
The festival, naturally, also featured the £150 Mini Main Event. That particular affair scored 468 entries, creating a £57,966 prize pool. It was local player Christian Watt who claimed the win and the £10,260 first-place payout.
PartyPoker will return to Glasgow and Alea Casino as a part of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour. All players would be very wise to mark August 3-9 in their calendars, preparing for yet another PartyPoker Tour event in the Scottish gem.
The £50,000 guarantee has been hit in the £150 Mini Main Event. Perhaps, the prize pool will be similar to £109,200, which was the number generated during the 2025 PartyPoker Tour London (Summer Edition).
Also, make sure to navigate to the “Results” tab, which has just been updated with the results from yesterday’s £60 poker.pro PL H.O.R.S.E.

Good afternoon, fellow poker enthusiasts. It’s the fourth day of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour London (Summer Edition), and the action has kicked off with Day 1d of the £150 Mini Main Event. Right now, there are 45 players in the mix, including PartyPoker Tour Ambassador/poker legend Joe Beevers.
The intriguing side event of the day is the £60 poker.pro PL Deuce-to-Seven Triple Draw, which kicks off at 19:00. One hour after that, Day 1e of the Mini Main Event will start, and that’s a turbo one. There are also three satellites on today’s schedule.

UTG, short-stacked “Mr. X” opened to 28,000, leaving himself with 3,000 behind. Zhizhi Peng then moved all in for 120,000, and once the decision was back on “Mr. X,” he made the call for his tournament life.
Zhizhi Peng: K♦Q♠ “Mr. X”: A♣3♣
“Mr. X” extended his lead somewhat on the K♠J♠A♠ flop, but the dream scenario for Peng to end today’s action with a royal flush was there. That would not be the case, but the 2♦10♦ runout was good enough. With a straight, she saw “Mr. X” off, and the remaining 13 players are now bagging their chips.
That wraps up today’s live coverage; thanks to everyone who’s been following along. The poker.pro editorial office will soon return with the Day 1c chip counts. The blog will go live tomorrow at 14:00 when Day 1d kicks off.
Zhizhi Peng opened to 22,000 UTG. Action then folded to fairly short-stacked “Mr. X,” who made it 70,000, leaving himself with a mere 1,000 behind. Peng forced her opponent all-in for the rest of it, and “Mr. X” made the call with his tournament life on the line.
Zhizhi Peng: A♠J♦ “Mr. X”: A♦Q♠
“Mr. X” was in good shape to double up, but that would not be the case. “Yes! Friendly game!” Peng laughed, as the board spelled out K♣9♣6♣7♣2♣. The two players split the pot, and “Mr. X” was now up to 81,000. On the very next hand, action folded to him on the Button, and he committed 50,000 to a pre-flop raise. Within seconds, Baptiste Auger re-raised to 205,000. When action came back to “Mr. X,” he sighed, then folded.
Seated on the Hi-jack, Jitin Dhawan opened to 17,000. Action folded all the way to Jacob George, who moved all in for 73,000 on the Big Blind. After a minute’s worth of consideration, Dhawan made the call, but the two players were not given the green light, as hand-for-hand play is activated on the bubble. There was another hand going on at Table 22.
There, the board read J♣Q♣7♦3♥ with roughly 100,000 in the middle. Cristina Cioara (Big Blind) checked to “Mr. X” (Lo-jack), who bet 76,000. Cioara utilized not one, not two, but three timebank chips before moving all in for 126,000. “Mr. X” didn’t have any time bank chips of his own left; after 30 seconds in the tank, his hand was declaraed dead.
As such, George and Dhawan could table their hole cards at the other table.
Jacob George: A♣J♥ Jitin Dhawan: A♥7♥
George and the £150 Mini Main Event are not friends, seeing as George bubbled three starting-day flights of the tournament during the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Sheffield. He took a solid lead on the J♣4♥2♣ flop. The 6♥ turn saw Dhawan improving to a flush draw, but, in the end, George was relieved to double up on courtesy of the 3♦ river.
Seated in the Lo-jack, “Mr. X” open-shoved 105,000. Volodymyr Dulepa made the call on the Button before Tsz Wa To re-shoved for 126,000 on the Button. Receiving a good price, Dulepa made the call.
“Mr. X”: A♠Q♥ Tsz Wa To: 9♣9♦ Volodymyr Dulepa: 5♠5♥
Dulepa was looking to improve to a set to eliminate two players and put an end to Day 1c. It was “Mr. X” who benefited from the 10♣3♦A♥ flop, and as the board completed with K♥K♣, he tripled up. Wa To won a small side pot, and Dulepa lost a big chunk of his stack.
“Mr. X”: 324,000 Volodymyr Dulepa: 115,000 Tsz Wa To: 45,000
Action folded to Boyuan Xue in the Small Blind. He put in a big pile of purple 25,000 chips, effectively forcing Gareth Taylor (Big Blind) all in. Taylor committed his 27,000 stack to make the call.
Boyuan Xue: Q♠7♦ Gareth Taylor: A♣9♥
Taylor was ahead, and he maintained his lead on the 6♣K♠10♦ flop. The Q♣ turn saw Xue claiming the driver’s seat, though, and as Taylor didn’t catch up on the 10♥ river, his tournament life came to an end.
The sole PartyPoker Tour Ambassador in the field, Rebecca Hardisty, is also out.
What is destined to be the final 20-minute break of the day is currently midway. The remaining players will soon resume play on Level 14. Below are the biggest stacks that this poker.pro live reporter was able to identify during the break.
With Day 1a and 1b of the £150 Mini Main Event already in the books, the chip lead for Day 2 currently belongs to Florin-Vasile Sturzu, who bagged 949,000 from Day 1a. Everything can obviously change, though, as there are six starting-day flights in total.
PartyPoker Tour regular Jacob George opened to 4,500 from UTG+2. Seated in the Small Blind, Alexander Beveridge was the sole caller.
Beveridge check-called a 5,500 bet from George on the 2♠3♣7♣ flop before both players checked the K♠ turn. It was Beveridge who bet 15,000 on the K♥ river, and he was swiftly called by George.
Alexander Beveridge: Q♠9♣ Jacob George: J♠J♦
Two fishhooks were good, and George claimed the pot.
Registration for Day 1c of the £150 Mini Main Event closed with 89 entries. Considering all starting-day flights are playing down to 15% of the field, 13 players will make it through to Day 2 (which will be played on Wednesday, July 8, at 18:00).
It’s the second 20-minute break of the day, and once the players return and resume play on Level 10, registration will be closed. Below are the biggest stacks this poker.pro live reporter was able to identify during the break.
“If someone tries to steal my Big Blind, I will raise,” PartyPoker Tour regular Hady Sirbu said as the dealer was distributing the cards at Table 25. Perhaps that’s why “Mr. X” decided only to limp on the Button. Tai Tran then moved all in for 31,600 from the Small Blind. As promised, Sirbu reshoved for roughly 80,000, and after “Mr. X” got out of the way, the two contestants tabled their holdings.
Tai Tran: A♦8♣ Hady Sirbu: K♦K♠
What a magical spot for Sirbu. He started recording the runout on his phone, and the first three cards captured on film were 8♦3♥6♦. He was still good on the 9♠ turn, but considering the A♣, time will tell whether the footage reaches his Instagram.
The board read 8♠6♠3♣ with what looked to be 10,000 in the middle. Zhizhi Peng (Big Blind) checked to Jitin Dhawan (UTG+1), who moved all in for 26,500. Big-stacked “Mr. X” made the call from the Hi-jack before Peng re-shoved for 69,300. After utilizing a 30-second time bank chip, “Mr. X” decided to fold. “I think you’re good,” Peng told her opponent before tabling her cards. “No, I am not,” Dhawan replied.
Jitin Dhawan: 2♥2♠ Zhizhi Peng: 9♠8♥
Indeed, Peng was ahead, and as the board completed with 4♥6♣, she won the considerable pot, seeing off Dhawan in the process.
“Mr. X” opened to 3,500 UTG. Michael Moore called on the Button, and PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Rebecca Hardisty decided to defend her Big Blind.
After an initial check from Hardisty, “Mr. X” bet 3,500 on the 5♣A♦K♠ board. Moore folded before Hardisty made the call. Hardisty then folded to a 5,000 bet from “Mr. X” on the 6♠ turn.
Roughly one year ago, Hardisty finished twenty-ninth in the £150 Mini Main Event during the 2025 PartyPoker Tour London (Summer Edition). She’s looking to do even better this time around.
Freddy Bogie opened to 1,800 from the Lo-jack. Seated in the Big Blind, Hady Sirbu was the sole caller.
Sirbu check-called a 2,000 bet from Bogie on the Q♦10♠J♠ flop. The action repeated itself on the 7♦ turn, the only difference being that the sizing from Bogie was now 6,500. Both players checked the Q♥ river.
It’s time for the first 20-minute break of the day, and play will soon resume on Level 6. Below are the biggest stacks in the room that this poker.pro live reporter was able to identify.
While PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples advanced from Day 1b of the £150 Mini Main Event yesterday, his equally good half, PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Rebecca Hardisty, became the unfortunate bubble girl. Hardisty isn’t known for lying down and cry, though; she’s back in the saddle, currently in Day 1c, looking for redemption.

Four of them are already done and dusted, meaning that this is the tenth in the tour’s one-and-a-half-year-long history. When Day 1c of the £150 Mini Main Event will be the main focus of today’s blog, it’s worth mentioning that the £100 poker.pro PL H.O.R.S.E. side event is kicking off in one hour.
For two years now, poker.pro have been running self-branded tournaments in conjunction with mainly the PartyPoker Tour. It has all been Mixed Games, and it’s evident that players enjoy trying something other than Texas once in a while. Players such like Lewis Henderson, Ryan Wivill, and Henry Owen have frequently played the various tournaments.
Below is a breakdown of all the poker.pro branded tournaments, ever.
Ever since the PartyPoker Tour launched back in April 2025, Hady Sirbu has been one of the most recurring faces. His best result on the tour is an eighth-place finish in the £150 Mini Main Event during the 2025 PartyPoker Tour Manchester, and he’s looking do to even better this time in London.
Sirbu played Day 1b yesterday but didn’t make it through. Now, he’s in Day 1c, competing for glory.
Lewis Osbourne limped UTG before James Langford made it 800 from the Hi-jack. Thanh Hoang (cut-off), Alexander Beveridge (Small Blind), and Osbourne all made the call.
After all four players checked the 2♣K♣9♥ flop, Beveridge bet 800 on the 7♥ turn. Osbourne and Langford both made the call before Hoang mucked. Beveridge kicked off the 3♥ river action with a check. Osbourne bet 2,500, which was enough to scare away both of his opponents.
Day 1c of the £150 Mini Main Event is underway, with 18 players in from the get-go. One familiar face in the field is PartyPoker Tour regular Jacob George.
It’s an educated guess, it’s all good vibes in England today, after an historic win in yesterday’s World Cup. Of course, the fact that it’s day three of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour London (Summer Edition) doesn’t make things much worse.
In roughly one and a half hours, the third starting-day flight of the £150 Mini Main Event will kick off. The £100 poker.pro PL H.O.R.S.E is the sole side event of the day; this special twist on the classic Mixed Games discipline has proven to be a success, and it’s perhaps the sixth or seventh time this tournament is part of a PartyPoker Tour schedule.

PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Rebecca Hardisty open-shoved 65,000 from the Lo-jack. After receiving the count, Matthew Murphy made the call from the Big Blind.
Rebecca Hardisty: K♠J♠ Matthew Murphy: 5♥5♣
Hardisty was still trailing on the 4♦10♥3♠. The Q♣ turn gave her additional outs, but the 6♦ river ultimately ended her tournament life.
That’s a wrap for today’s live coverage; thanks to everyone who’s been following along with the action. The 16 players who survived are now bagging their chips. Tomorrow, the blog will go live at 17:00 when Day 1c kicks off. Before that, though, the Day 1b chip counts will be uploaded.
While Day 1b of the £150 Mini Main Event is still going on, only two players are left in the £150 PLO Masters 4/5/6 Bounty. Considering the two heads-up contestants want to stay anonymous, the final results can already be revealed.
Seated UTG, Mohammed Afzal decided to limp. Somewhat surprising, action folded all the way to PartyPoker Team Pro, who checked his Big Blind.
After both players checked the 2♠Q♦A♦ flop, Staples bet 10,000 on the 8♠ turn. Afzal made the call, but then folded to another 25,000 from Staples on the 4♥ river. Afzal tabled K♣10♣.
The remaining 29 players are now enjoying what is destined to be the final 20-minute break of the day. Below are the biggest stacks this poker.pro live reporter was able to identify.
Anil Belpu open-shoved 6,000 from the Lo-jack. Seated right next to him, James O’Rourke three-bet to 20,000 before Mohammed Afzal re-shoved for roughly 150,000. O’Rourke folded, and the two contestants tabled their holdings.
Anil Belpu: J♣10♠ Mohammed Afzal: A♠Q♥
The 9♦8♣3♥ brought some hope to Belpu, but the 9♣2♣ runout ultimately ended his tournament life.
“Mr. X” opened to 6,000 UTG+1. “Mr. Y” (Button), “Mr. Z” (Small Blind), and PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Rebecca Hardisty (Big Blind) all made the call.
Action was checked to “Mr. Y”, who bet 10,000 on the 2♦2♣7♦ flop. “Mr. Z” snap-raised to 25,000, and “Mr. Y” was the sole caller. “Mr. Z” bet another 20,000 on the 10♦ turn to secure the pot.
Late registration closed in Day 1b of the £150 Mini Main Event with 109 entries. Considering all starting-day flights are playing down to 15% of the field, it should be 16 players who advance to Day 2 from the second starting-day flight. However, that number still needs to be confirmed by the floor.
Action folded to “Mr. X”, who opened to 7,000 from the Hi-jack. PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Rebecca Hardisty made the call from the Cut-off, and “Mr. Y” joined in on the fun from the Small Blind.
“Mr. Y” kicked the action off with a 10,000 bet on the 9♠8♠J♥ flop. “Mr. X” made it 25,000 within a second, and Hardisty mucked as fast before “Mr. Y” made the call.
“Mr. Y” check-called 15,000 from “Mr. X” on the 7♦ turn before both players checked the 7♠ river.
It’s the second 20-minute break of the day, and once Level 10 commences, late registration will be closed. Below are the biggest stacks this poker.pro live reporter was able to identify.
“Mr. X” opened to 3,200 from the Hi-jack. “Mr. Y” (Small Blind) and “Mr. Z” (Big Blind) both made the call.
It was “Mr. Y” who took the aggressive lead on the 4♠4♣3♠ flop with a 5,000 bet. “Mr. Z” snap-called before the original raiser, “Mr. X,” made it 15,000. “Mr. Y” made the call before “Mr. Z” folded.
“Mr. Y” checked the 7♠ turn, then immediately folded to a 10,000 bet from “Mr. X”.

PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Saples and PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Rebecca Hardisty have both registered for Day 1b of the £150 Mini Main Event on Level 9. In roughly 15 minutes, the players will go on the second 15-minute break of the day, and that break will be the last window for players to register for the tournament.
John Murray opened to an unconventional 3,500 UTG. Nicusor Leonache (Cut-off) and James O’Rourke (Button) both made the call.
Murray wasted little time before going all in for 12,000 on the 9♦7♣6♣ flop. Leonache committed his 6,500 stack to make the call before O’Rourke got out of the way.
John Murray: Q♦Q♠ Nicusor Leonache: 3♥3♣
Leonache didn’t improve on the 8♦A♠ runout, and all his chips went the way of Murray.
The sole side event of the night, the £150 PLO Masters 4/5/6 Bounty, kicked off roughly one hour ago. The tournament is currently on Level 3, and late registration will be open until the commencement of Level 9. Some notable names in the field are four-time PartyPoker Tour champion Lewis Henderson, prominent player Vadims Veksins, and PLO Masters founder JJ Hazan.
It was a delayed start, but poker.pro live reporter Christoffer Karlén is now on-site at Genting Casino Stratford, ready to cover every knook and cranny of the action.
Claudiu Clipei limped UTG, then called a 2,000 three-bet from Jay Sharman (Cut-off).
Clipei checked the 8♣6♦Q♦ flop, and Sharman bet a hefty 7,000. Clipei sighed and folded rather swiftly, revealing his 8♥7♥ holdings.
Cards are in the air for Day 1b of the £150 Mini Main Event. The live coverage will kick off in roughly one hour, though, due to circumstances beyond this poker.pro live reporter’s control.

It’s Sunday in London, and what a day this is destined to be. This poker.pro live reporter has a hard time deciding what he’s looking forward to the most today: a swarm of intriguing matches at Wimbledon, the upcoming England-Mexico game, or the second day of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour London (Summer Edition).
The poker is what we’re here for, though, and it’s going to be another thrilling day at Genting Casino Stratford. The nine-day-long festival kicked off yesterday with the first starting-day flight of the £150 Mini Main Event, as well as two side events. The inaugural flight of the ever-so-popular Mini Main Event attracted 151 entries, and 23 players made it through to Day 2. For the side event results, navigate to the “Results” tab.
Today, poker.pro live reporter Christoffer Karlén will follow the action in Day 1b of the Mini Main Event, which kicks off at 16:00. At 19:00, the only side event of the day will kick off, namely the £150 PLO Masters 4/5/6 Bounty. The last tournament of the day is a £30 Target Stack Satellite to the Mini Main Event, which will commence at 22:00 with three tickets guaranteed.

Day 1a of the £150 Mini Main Event has come to an end, and the remaining 23 players are now bagging their chips; they’ll be reunited with them on Day 2 (July 8, 18:00). Before that, though, there are five more starting-day flights to go.
That wraps up today’s live coverage here on poker.pro. Tomorrow’s blog will go live at 17:00 when Day 1b kicks off. The poker.pro editorial office will soon return with the Day 1a chip counts.
Edgar Uribe made it 16,000 UTG+2 before Jodi Hurley moved all in for 79,000 from the Lo-jack. Florin-Vasile Sturzu then made the call from the Hi-jack, and Uribe also added what was required for him to see the flop.
Uribe and Sturzu both checked the 3♦K♥7♣ flop. Uribe bet 60,000 on the 4♥ river; Sturzu got out of the way before Hurley and Uribe tabled their holdings.
Jodi Hurley: A♦J♣ Edgar Uribe: A♥K♦
Hurley was drawing dead, and after a ceremonial 10♦ river, he exited the tournament area.
Edgar Uribe: 900,000 Florin-Vasile Sturzu: 700,000 Jodi Hurley: 0
Seated UTG, the charismatic Richard Stranava min-raised to 10,000. Guy Duggan snap-called from UTG+1 before short-stacked “Mr. X” moved all in for 21,000 from the Lo-jack. Stranava and Duggan both made the call.
Stranava check-called a 25,000 bet from Duggan on the 3♦5♣6♣ flop before both players checked the 4♠ turn. On the 10♠ river, Stranava threw out a 45,000 bet, big enough to get a fold out of Duggan.
“Mr. X”: A♥Q♠ Richard Stranava: 7♣7♦
With a straight, Stranava sent “Mr. X” to the rail.

For the PartyPoker Tour, there are 10 Ambassadors, spreading love, kindness, and the good word of the tour. One of them is Natalie Bromley; Bromley is scheduled to arrive in London on Wednesday and join the fun in the 2026 PartyPoker Tour London (Summer Edition). Below, you can read an interview with Bromley that poker.pro journalist Christoffer Karlén made, where you can get to know the saint a little bit better.
The remaining 31 players are now on what is destined to be the last 20-minute break of the day. Only seven more will go before the survivors can bag for Day 2. Below are the biggest stacks at this point.

The ongoing 2026 PartyPoker Tour London (Summer Edition) is the fifth stop of the tour this year. There won’t be much rest for the PartyPoker crew, as the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Glasgow will be played August 3-9 at Alea Casino. Satellites are continuously running online, where all players can secure their live poker adventure for mere pennies. Check out the full 2026 PartyPoker Tour calendar below.
Seated UTG, Stephen Chen opened to 9,000. Florin-Vasile Sturzu (Cut-off), Masoud Etemadiherisi (Button) and Konagh Greensall (Big Blind) all made the call.
All four players checked the Q♠6♠5♠ flop. On the Q♥ turn, Greensall dipped his toes in the waters with a 15,000 bet, a bet which Etemadiherisi was the only one to call. On the wet 2♠ river, Greensall bet 30,000. Etemadiherisi sighed then folded, flashing the Q♦. Before raking in the pot, Greensall revealed one of his hole cards, the Q♣.
Action folded to Mohamed Mohamed, who opened to 6,000 on the Button. Mark Fernandes decided to defend his Big Blind.
After an initial check from Fernandes on the A♣7♣10♠ flop, Mohamed announced a 7,000 bet. Fernandes made the call before Mohamed even had a chance to put his chips in. Just as swiftly, Fernandes then bet 11,000 on the 7♠ turn. Mohamed wasn’t much slower before raising to 27,000. This finally slowed Fernandes down; he spent a minute in the tank before letting his hand go.
Action folded to Mohamed Mohamed, who made it 5,500 from the Lo-jack. Seated in the Cut-off, Mark Fernandes was the sole caller.
Fernandes called a 7,000 bet from Mohamed on the 8♣7♠K♣ flop. Mohamed slowed down and checked the 4♠ turn, and Fernandes wasted little time before moving all in for 39,000. A visibly troubled Mohamed requested the count and twisted and turned in his chair for a good minute, before ultimately letting his hand go.
Matthew Horn opened to 5,500 from the Lo-jack. Jordan Caplan (Hi-jack), Lawrence Graham (Cut-off), “Mr. X” (Button) and Stephen Chen (Big Blind) all made the call.
All five contenders checked the colorful 9♥Q♥2♥ flop. After an initial check from Chen on the 9♦ turn, Horn bet 7,000. Caplan folded before Graham snap-raised to 35,000. The big bet was enough to scare the competition away.

Late registration in Day 1a of the £150 Mini Main Event closed with 151 entries. Since all starting-day flights of the tournament are playing down to 15% of the field, 24 players will bag and tag for Day 2.
It’s time for the second 20-minute break of the day in Day 1a of the £150 Mini Main Event. When the break is over and Level 10 commences, late registration will be closed.
Below are the biggest stacks in the room as of now.
PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples and PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Rebecca Hardisty. Photo: Nunzia Esposito
Late registration is still open in the £60 poker.pro PL Sviten. PartyPoker Tour Ambassador and PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples are now both in the field. The current chip leader is Simon Green (81,800 on Blinds 300/600 with a 600 Ante), and breathing down his neck is JJ Hazan with 68,000.
The board read 2♥8♣5♥2♣ with perhaps 10,000 in the middle. Lithuanian Audrius Navickas (Big Blind) checked it over to “Mr. X,” who bet 7,500. Navickas then completed a check-raise move to 15,200, a raise which “Mr. X” called. On the A♠ river, Navickas bet another 15,200, and “Mr. X” flicked in a chip for the call.
Audrius Navickas: J♠6♦ “Mr. X”: K♥8♠
As it turned out, Navickas was deep-sea fishing, and “Mr. X” was a non-believer.
“Mr. X” opened to 2,400 from the Lo-jack. “Mr. Y” (Hi-jack), Farooq Saleem (Buton), Zak Ly (Small Blind) and Michael Brisley (Big Blind) all made the call.
Action was checked to “Mr. Y” on the 2♣8♦A♣ flop, who bet 3,500. Ly was the sole caller, and the two contestants checked both the 9♣ turn and the 10♠ river.
“Mr. Y” tabled A♥K♠, and top pair was enough to take down the pot.
While Day 1a of the £150 Mini Main Event is on Level 8, the first side event of the night, the £60 poker.pro PL Sviten, kicked off roughly one hour ago. Players such as PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Sam Acheampong and poker legend/PLO Masters founder JJ Hazan are in the field. So is Lewis Henderson, who currently is the player with the most PartyPoker Tour trophies (he got his fourth one in Manchester about three weeks ago).
PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Rebecca Hardisty will soon register for the tournament as well, considering the Canada-Morocco football game has wrapped up.

“Mr. X” limped UTG. Mark Fernandez (Cut-off) and Konagh Greensall (Button) both made the call before “Mr. Y” made it 2,500 from the Small Blind. “Mr. X” and Fernandez made the call, while Greensall folded.
All three players checked the 5♥7♣6♥ flop. Action was checked to Fernandez on the Q♠ turn, and he bet 3,000. “Mr. Y” folded before “Mr. X” made the call. “Mr. X” then check-folded to a 6,000 bet from Fernandez on the A♣ river.
PartyPoker Tour photographer Nunzia Esposito has been capturing some amazing photos of London earlier today. Enjoy the photos below; Esposito is currently taking photos of the £150 Mini Main Event Day 1a players, and those photos will also be uploaded here on the poker.pro live blog once they are ready.
Michael Bremley made it 800 from UTG+1. PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Sam Acheampong made the call from the Cut-off, and Matthew Murphy came along for the ride on the Big Blind.
After an initial check from Murphy, Bremley continued for another 800 on the J♠A♠Q♥ flop. Acheampong made the call, Murphy mucked, and the dealer revealed the 3♠ turn. Action went check-check, and Acheampong then called 1,100 from Bremley on the 4♣ river.
“Aiyaah,” Acheampong said as Bremley tabled A♥K♥. Acheampong flashed Q♦ before folding.
Also seated at the same table is PartyPoker Tour regular Jordan Caplan. He and Acheampong at the same table is guaranteed entertainment.
