With his elimination of Andrew Wilson, Michael Breen is now crowned the winner of the £500 Main Event during the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Manchester. He takes home the prestigious title, the coveted trophy, and the £22,000 first-place payout.
That wraps up the poker.pro live coverage from the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Manchester; it’s been an amazing nine days. That being said, stay tuned, as a longer Main Event recap will follow shortly. Also, make sure to visit the “Results” tab, where the results from all side events are posted.
While you patiently wait for the Main Event recap, enjoy the final table results below.
The very first hand after the break, Andrew Wilson limped on the Button. Michael Breen then forced his opponent all in for 2,040,000 in total, and Wilson made the call without hesitation.
Michael Breen: A♣J♦ Andrew Wilson: K♥Q♠
This was Breen’s fifth attempt at eliminating his opponent in an all-in-and-call situation pre-flop, and, albeit only by a small margin, he had the best hand. He took a firm lead on the 7♦A♥5♥ flop, and Wilson was looking for running hearts, running two-pair, or a runner-runner straight to survive. Unfortunately for him, he was left drawing dead on the 9♠ turn, and the 5♣ was merely dealt for ceremonial reasons. Wilson had fought long and well, and he put all of his poker skills on full display. In the end, though, he was declared runner-up of the £500 Main Event, and was awarded £15,000.
Andrew Wilson limped on the Button, and Michael Breen checked his Big Blind.
First to act, Breen checked the 4♣7♥A♥ flop. Wilson bet 160,000, and Breen then completed a check-raise move to 325,000. After some consideration, Wilson made the call.
Having the aggressive initiative, Breen continued with a hefty 1,500,000 bet on the 3♣ turn. A small crowd gathered around the table as Wilson made the call. The river was the 4♠, and Breen now pulled the trigger, as he forced Wilson all in for 2,880,000. Throughout the final table, Wilson has been sitting upright in his chair, shuffling his chips calmly and steadily with his left hand. This time, he crossed his arms and leaned back. He was seriously considering making the call, but ultimately folded.
Breen revealed his hole cards to his friend, standing behind him. “That’s some serious poker,” his mate saluted Breen, who reclaimed a solid chip lead.
Michael Breen: 10,120,000 Andrew Wilson: 2,880,000
Michael Breen made it 320,000 on the Button, and Andrew Wilson made the call from the Big Blind.
Wilson check-called 375,000 from Breen on the 8♥Q♥K♠ flop. After another check from Wilson on the 5♣ turn, Breen announced a 1,000,000 bet. This was enough to scare Wilson away.
Michael Breen limped on the Button, then called a 480,000 raise from Andrew Wilson (Big Blind).
Wilson bet 600,000 on the 8♠A♦J♠ flop, and Breen then forced his opponent all in for 2,450,000. Wilson made the call without hesitation.
Michael Breen: 6♠4♠ Andrew Wilson: J♦10♥
Breen was looking to hit any spade to eliminate Wilson. That wouldn’t be the case, though, as the board completed with K♦2♥. In the most astonishing fashion, Wilson has now evened the playing field (more or less).
Seated on the Button, Andrew Wilson limped. Michael Breen (Big Blind) forced his opponent all in for 1,465,000 in total, and Wilson made the call.
Michael Breen: A♦9♣ Andrew Wilson: 7♦7♠
It was a classic coin flip confrontation. Wilson’s walking sticks stood the test of time as the board spelled out Q♦4♠3♦2♠J♠, and he doubled up for a third time.
Being down to a mere 700,000, Andrew Wilson (Big Blind) was forced all in for 700,000 by Michael Breen (Button). Wilson made the call.
Andrew Wilson: J♦5♣ Michael Breen: 10♠5♦
Wilson had Breen dominated, and was looking good to double up. Both players hit a pair on the J♣10♥Q♣ flop. They both improved to two pairs on the 5♠ turn, Wilson still way ahead. For good measure, he improved to a full house on the J♥ river to secure a full double-up to 1,520,000.
The very next hand, Wilson shoved the aforementioned 1,520,000 on the Button, and Breen made the call.
Andrew Wilson: Q♠10♥ Michael Breen: K♥2♥
This time, it was Breen who had a small lead. He didn’t maintain it on the J♥8♣10♦ flop, though, and the 9♣A♥ runout saw Wilson doubling up again. Will this be the beginning of a Cinderella story?
Calogero Morreale opened to 360,000 from the Small Blind. On a mission to put maximum pressure on the smaller stacks, Michael Breen (Big Blind) forced his opponent all in for 4,100,000. Morreale snap-called.
Michael Breen: 4♠4♦ Calogero Morreale: A♥A♦
“I can’t call with many hands, but with that one, I have to,” Morreale said, referring to Andrew Wilson being the shortest stack by some margin. Then, it happened. The brutal 5♣9♠4♥ flop saw Breen improving to a set. Morreale didn’t catch up on the 10♦K♣ runout, and in the most astonishing fashion, he was eliminated in third place for £10,000.
The stage is now set for a heads-up showdown between Breen and Wilson, where Breen has quite the chip lead.
Michael Breen: 11,580,000 Andrew Wilson: 1,420,000 Calogero Morreale: 0
The board read 6♣6♠9♦3♠6♦ with 720,000 in the middle. Andrew Wilson (Small Blind) bet 500,000, and the decision was on Calogero Morreale. He considered his options for three, maybe four minutes, before making the call.
Andrew Wilson: 8♦5♥ Calogero Morreale: Q♦3♣
Morreale had made the correct decision, and Wilson lost a big chunk of his stack.
Calogero Morreale: 4,000,000 Andrew Wilson: 1,780,000
Andrew Wilson min-raised to 200,000 on the Button, and was then faced with an 800,000 three-bet from Calogero Morreale from the Small Blind. Wilson made the call; there was a big pot brewing.
Morreale continued for 350,000 on the 8♦7♥J♠ flop. Wilson made the call, and poker.pro live reporter Christoffer Karlén was intrigued, to say the least. Morreale pulled the trigger on the Q♣ turn; he moved all in for roughly 1,700,000, and Wilson quickly folded.
Before raking in the massive pot, Morreale revealed his A♥10♦ holdings.
Calogero Morreale: 4,680,000 Andrew Wilson: 2,410,000
The board read Q♣5♠5♣3♥J♣ with 550,000 in the middle. Calogero Morreale (Big Blind) checked it over to Michael Breen, who fired a pot-sized 550,000. After a few minute’s worth of consideration, Morreale made the call.
Breen tabled K♣9♣ for a flush and was awarded the pot, reclaiming the chip lead.
Michael Breen: 5,800,000 Calogero Morreale: 3,050,000
Endrit Geci opened to 800,000 from the Cut-off, leaving himself with 275,000 behind. Andrew Wilson made the call on the Button, and the two contestants were soon heads-up to the flop.
Geci checked the 9♠9♦6♦ flop, and was then forced all in for the aforementioned 275,000 by Wilson. Geci made the call.
Andrew Wilson: 4♣4♦ Endrit Geci: A♠K♥
Geci didn’t improve on the J♥5♦ runout, and he bid farewell in fourth place for £7,500.
Calogero Morreale opened to 160,000 from the Cut-off. Seated in the Big Blind, Andrew Wilson was the sole caller.
All hearts on the 6♥Q♥2♥ flop. Wilson checked it over to Morreale, who continued for 165,000. Wilson then completed a check-raise move to 400,000, big enough to get a force out of Morreale.
Calogero Morreale: 3,050,000 Andrew Wilson: 2,640,000
Calogero Morreale min-raised to 160,000 from the Hi-jack, and was then faced with a 770,000 shove from Imran Pirmohamed from the Cut-off. Once the remaining players got out of the way, Morreale made the call.
Imran Pirmohamed: A♥10♣ Calogero Morreale: A♣J♣
Pirmohamed was dominated, and he didn’t find any help as the board spelled out 6♦Q♣7♦5♥Q♥. As such, Pirmohamed finished in fifth place for £6,400. What a week he’s had, considering he also finished second in the £150 Mini Main Event for £10,000.
Seated in the Cut-off, PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Daniel Garcia opened to 650,000, leaving himself with 150,000 behind. Chip leader Michael Breen re-shoved for roughly 4,000,000 on the Button, and Garcia committed to the task.
Daniel Garcia: A♦3♦ Michael Breen: A♥8♥
Garcia was dominated, and apart from a three, he was rooting for runner-runner spades on the A♠10♠2♠ flop. The 5♥Q♥ runout wasn’t it, and the Spaniard was out in sixth place for £5,300.
Michael Breen opened to 120,000 from the Lo-jack (i.e., UTG on the six-handed table). Imran Pirmohamed made the call from the Big Blind.
Pirmohamed check-called a 300,000 bet from Breen on the A♠6♥3♥ flop. Action repeated itself on the 6♠, the only difference being that the sizing from Breen now was 450,000. Both players checked the J♥ river.
Breen claimed the pot with a superior kicker, and he took a big chunk out of Pirmohamed’s stack in the process.
Imran Pirmohamed: A♠Q♣ Michael Breen A♥7♣
The very next hand, action folded to Pirmohamed, who limped from the Small Blind. Breen checked his Big Blind, and then called 150,000 from Pirmohamed on the 5♥2♦A♥ flop. Pirmohamed continued for another 235,000 on the K♥ turn, and it didn’t take long before Breen forced his opponent all in for roughly 900,000 in total. Pirmohamed folded even faster, and Breen was the chip leader as the players went on the first break of the day.
Michael Breen: 4,215,000 Imran Pirmohamed: 610,000
Action folded to Endrit Geci on the Button, who opened to 125,000. PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Daniel Garcia decided to defend his Big Blind.
Both players checked the 10♥6♦6♥ flop before Garcia check-called another 125,000 from Geci on the A♥ turn. Garcia completed the check trifecta on the 6♠ river, and Geci sized up to 475,000. Garcia spent a minute or two in the tank before making the call.
Geci tabled A♣K♠ and Garcia quickly mucked his hand.
PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Daniel Garcia open-shoved 630,000 on the Button. “I wish I was better at math,” Imran Pirmohamed joked with Garcia, as he was contemplating a call from the Big Blind. Eventually, he did flick in a chip for the call, and cards were on their backs.
Daniel Garcia: 9♣9♥ Imran Pirmohamed: K♣J♣
Garcia took a firm lead on the 6♠2♣9♠ flop. He left Pirmohamed drawing dead as he improved to a full house on the 2♦ turn. For good measure, he improved to quads on the 9♦ river to secure a full double-up.
Imran Pirmohamed: 2,600,000 Daniel Garcia: 1,380,000
UTG, Calogero Morreale opened to 125,000. Action eventually came to Alex Montgomery, who moved all in for roughly 500,000 from the Small Blind. He was then made aware of Morreale’s opening; he didn’t know it before he pushed. Perhaps Morreale took this information into consideration, as he made the call after PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Daniel Garcia folded his Big Blind.
Alex Montgomery: K♣2♥ Calogero Morreale: 7♠7♦
Unfortunate scenario for Montgomery, and he wasn’t able to produce a miracle as the board spelled out J♠8♥3♠6♣Q♠. He went out in seventh place for £4,300 at the expense of Morreale.
Action folded to Calogero Morreale, who opened to 125,000 on the Button. Imran Pirmohamed made the call from the Small Blind before Thales Salomao moved all in for 765,000 from the Big Blind. After receiving the count, Morreale re-shoved for roughly 1,880,000. Pirmohamed got out of the way, and the two players tabled their holdings.
Thales Salomao: J♠J♦ Calogero Morreale: Q♣Q♠
If things were looking dark for Salomao before the flop, the Q♦7♣8♠ didn’t make things better. “Nine!” Salomao urged the Poker Gods after seeing the 10♦ turn. The 2♦ river wasn’t it, and Salomao bid farewell in eighth place for £3,600.
Action folded to chip leader Imran Pirmohamed, who limped from the Small Blind. Seated in the Big Blind, Thales Salomao checked.
Both players checked the A♠Q♣8♣ flop. Pirmohamed bet 50,000 on the 2♣ turn, and Salomao made the call. Another 50,000 from Pirmohamed on the 2♥ river was followed by a 200,000 raise from Salomao. After a minute’s worth of consideration, Pirmohamed made the call.
Salomao tabled 10♣4♣ for a flush, and Pirmohamed acknowledged the winning hand. Unless this poker.pro live reporter’s hearing is going bad, Pirmohamed claimed to have pocket kings.
Andrew Wilson opened to 100,000 UTG. Imran Pirmohamed (Cut-off), Michael Breen (Small Blind), and Endrit Geci (Big Blind) all made the call.
Action was checked to Wilson on the 3♠10♦Q♦ flop, who continued for 125,000. Pirmohamed made the call before the remaining players got out of the way. Both players then checked the 6♣ turn. On the 8♥ river, Wilson checked, and then snap-folded to a 1,000,000 bet from Pirmohamed.
Imran Pirmohamed: 4,200,000 Andrew Wilson: 1,670,000
Action folded to Dean Perry, who opened to 100,000 on the Button. Chip leader Imran Pirmohamed then three-bet to 350,000, and Perrymoved all in for 1,275,000 rather swiftly. Pirmohamed considered his options for two, maybe three minutes, before making the call.
Dean Perry: J♥10♠ Imran Pirmohamed: A♠Q♥
Pirmohamed had made a great call given the circumstances, and he was awarded as the board spelled out A♦5♣6♣5♥7♣. As such, Perry became the first casualty of the final table, finishing ninth for an even £3,000. Pirmohamed extended his chip lead.

Here we are, people. It’s the final day of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Manchester, and what better way to wrap it up than with crowning a winner of the £500 Main Event.
The nine remaining players have battled through two long, tough days to make it here. It’s safe to say that all players who’ve made it this far rightfully deserve their place at the final table, and boy, is it a skillful mix of players. In fact, four of them have more than $1,000,000 in total live earnings, according to The Hendon Mob. Andrew Wilson, perhaps more recognizable as “BowieEffect” online, is arguably the most experienced player left in the field, with more than $2,500,000 in total live earnings, including a WPT title. Add to that his incredible success online, and you have a very fearful player who will begin today’s final table fifth in chips.
Wilson will have his work cut out for him, though. Imran Pirmohamed has proven this week that he can lock horns with the best of them. He will begin the final table as the chip leader, albeit by the smallest of margins over both Michael Breen and Endrit Geci. The one who’s looking to defy the odds is Thales Salomao. To be fair, even though he’ll begin today’s battle with the least amount of chips, he still has 12 Big Blinds to work with.
All in all, it’s going to be an entertaining final table. The action will kick off at 15:00, and poker.pro live reporter Christoffer Karlén is on-site at Manchester235 Casino, ready to cover every knook and cranny of the action.

The second hand after the break, Ka Pun open-shoved 660,000 from the Hi-jack. Seated in the Big Blind, Imran Pirmohamed made the call, having his opponent covered.
Ka Pun: J♥10♥ Imran Pirmohamed: A♦Q♣
Both players got a piece of the A♠K♣10♣ flop. Pirmohamed certainly did not want to pair his queen, and the Poker Gods heard his silent prayers. The board completed with 9♦4♣. As such, Pun was eliminated in tenth place for £2,400, and play has concluded for the day.
The nine-handed final table of the £500 is set, and the remaining brave warriors will be reunited with their stacks tomorrow at 15:00 to continue the pursuit for eternal poker glory and the £22,000 payout. This wraps up today’s poker.pro live coverage. Live reporter Christoffer Karlén will resume the coverage tomorrow and cover every knook and cranny of action on the final table. Below are all the results from today; stay tuned for the chip counts going into Day 3.
Calogero Morreale opened to 80,000 from the Hi-jack, and Thales Salomao defended his Big Blind.
Salomao checked the Q♥5♥6♥ flop, and Morreale continued for 40,000. Salomao then completed a check-raise move to 100,000, and Morreale made the call. Salomao continued on the aggressive path with a 120,000 bet on the Q♠ turn, and Morreale called again. The Q♣ river brought a third queen to the table. Salomao now sized up to 310,000. Morreale looked uncomfortable, but ultimately made the call.
Thales Salomao: 8♦7♦ Calogero Morreale: A♥J♥
Morreale had read his opponent correct, and Salomao will be the shortest stack once the players return after the ongoing 15-minute break.
Action folded to Dean Perry, who open-shoved 705,000 from the Small Blind. Seated in the Big Blind, Thales Salomao made the call.
Dean Perry: K♠9♠ Thales Salomao: Q♠J♠
“God save the Queen,” Salomao started singing again. It may have worked last time, but this time, Perry got the better of his opponent as the board spelled out K♣5♥4♠7♦10♣.
On the five-handed table, Andrew Wilson opened to 80,000 from the Hi-jack. PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Daniel Diaz made the call from the Cut-off, and Endrit Geci came along for the ride from the Big Blind.
Action was checked to Diaz on the J♦Q♥2♥ flop, and he dipped his toes in the waters with a 15,000 bet. Geci made the call, and the decision was on Wilson. After spending two minutes in the tank, he moved all in for just shy of 1,000,000. This sent Diaz deep into the tank, and when this poker.pro live reporter says deep, he means deep. Diaz spent at least seven minutes contemplating his decision, looking back and forth between the flop and the stoneface of Wilson. Ultimately, he let his hand go, and Geci mucked swiftly.
“Ace-ten of hearts?” Diaz asked Wilson while he was stacking his newly won chips. Being a good sport, Wilson revealed one of his hole cards, the A♥. “I had a really good hand,” Diaz declared.
Imran Pirmohamed is still in the £500 Main Event, looking for redemption as he finished second in the £150 Mini Main Event the other day. He is the shortest stack with 10 players left, though.
Pirmohamed opened to 65,000 on the Button, and Dean Perry defended his Big Blind.
Both players checked the 2♥2♣10♥ flop. Perry bet 100,000 on the 3♦ turn, and Pirmohamed made the call. On the 10♠ river, Perry sized up to 250,000. Pirmohamed, playing 450,000 in total, made the call.
Dean Perry: K♠6♣ Irman Pirmohamed: K♦J♥
Given the circumstances, it was an applause-worthy call from Pirmohamed, who won his half of the pot back.
Seated in the Lo-jack, Thales Salomao opened to 75,000. “Go on, then,” Dean Perry said as he moved all in for 495,000 from the Small Blind. Salomao made the call without hesitation.
Dean Perry: Q♥3♠ Thales Salomao: A♠J♠
Some players at the table laughed at the 3♥3♦9♠, some were astonished. The board completed with A♥5♠, and Perry received the full double-up. At the same time, at the other table, Gajanthan Kamalanathan was eliminated in tenth place for £2,400, meaning the remaining 10 players are now at the final table bubble.
Seated in the Lo-jack, Alex Montgomery open-shoved 405,000. Playing 415,000, Kevin Brzozowski re-shoved from the Small Blind, and the two players tabled their holdings.
Alex Montgomery: 6♥6♣ Kevin Brzozowski: A♠K♠
Big Slick didn’t get the job done on the 3♥Q♠J♥9♥6♦ board, and Brzozowski was left with a mere 10,000. The very next hand, he threw in his two orange 5,000 chips on the Button. PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Daniel Diaz made the call from the Small Blind, and Montgomery checked his Big Blind.
Diaz and Montgomery checked down every street of the 10♠3♦Q♣2♣5♣ board.
Kevin Brzozowski: A♥8♠ Daniel Garcia: J♦8♠ Alex Montgomery: 6♦3♣
Pair of threes was good for Montgomery, and Brzozowski was eliminated in twelfth place for £1,900.
Seated on the Button, Kevin Brzozowski limped the 30,000 Big Blind before PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Daniel Diaz made it 615,000 from the Small Blind, leaving himself with coffee money behind. Anthony Harkness then moved all in for perhaps 400,000 from the Big Blind. Brzozowski mucked, and the two contestants tabled their holdings.
Daniel Diaz: 7♣7♦ Anthony Harkness: J♠10♠
As Diaz won the flip on the 5♠Q♣5♣9♣5♦ board, Harkness bid farewell in fourteenth place for £1,6000. The very next hand, action folded to Diaz, who open-shoved perhaps 800,000. Seated in the Small Blind, Lee Mulligan committed his 320,000 stack to make the call.
Daniel Diaz: A♠9♣ Lee Mulligan: 8♦8♥
Diaz’s rungood continued, as he claimed the pot on the 7♣2♣A♥10♥10♦ board. As such, Mulligan went out in thirteenth place for £1,900, and Diaz’s stack went from zero (well, decent, to be fair) to hero.
Daniel Diaz: 1,280,000 Lee Mulligan: 0 Anthiny Harkness: 0
Action folded to Thales Salomao, who opened to 55,000 from the Cut-off. Luke Newman moved all in for 100,000 from the Small Blind, and Salomao made the call.
Luke Newman: A♠J♥ Thales Salomao: Q♥J♠
“God save the Queen, God save the Queen,” Salomao started serenading as he saw what he was up against. The Poker Gods were impressed by Salomao’s singing and delivered royalty on the Q♠2♠3♥ flop. Newman didn’t reclaim the driver’s seat as the board completed with 2♦7♦, and he was eliminated in sixteenth place for £1,350.
Gajanthan Kamalanathan open-shoved 375,000 from the Cut-off. Seated right next to him, Arian Hassankashani re-shoved for 435,000 from the Small Blind. Once Dean Perry surrendered his Big Blind, the two contestants tabled their holdings.
Gajanthan Kamalanathan: A♣9♠ Arian Hassankashani: K♠K♦
Hassankashani had a firm grip. Kamalanathan got some hope on the [invalid notations] flop, and he took a solid lead on the 9♦ turn. No miracle for Hassankashani on the 8♥, and he was left with breadcrumbs.
Gajanthan Kamalanathan: 1,000,000 Arian Hassankashani: 60,000
Chip leader Andrew Wilson opened to 50,000 on the Button. Calogero Morreale (Small Blind) and Kevin Remeile (Big Blind) both made the call.
After an initial check from Morreale, Remeile moved all in for 225,000 on the 2♦3♦ flop. Wilson folded before Morreale made the call.
Kevin Remeile: 7♥7♣ Calogero Morreale: K♦10♣
Remeile maintained his small lead on the 9♣ turn, but the 10♣ saw Morreale hitting his flush. As such, Remelie’s impressive run came to an end. For his seventeenth-place finish, he was awarded £1,350. Moments earlier, Lin Chen went out in eighteenth for the same amount.
After losing a big flip with Ace-king, Connor Lewis soon open-shoved 186,000 from the Cut-off. Seated on the Button, Alex Montgomery re-shoved for around 500,000, and the two of them were soon heads-up to the flop.
Connor Lewis: J♣J♦ Alex Montgomery: A♣Q♦
Lewis lost the flip on the 7♥Q♣5♥5♣7♦ board, and he was eliminated in nineteenth place for £1,350. Moments earlier, reigning champion Deniz Orhan was eliminated in twentieth place for the same prize, meaning there will be a new PartyPoker Tour £500 Main Event champion crowned in Manchester this year.
UTG, PartyPoker Team Pro Matt Staples opened to 40,000. Seated right next to him, tournament chip leader Andrew Wilson three-bet to 125,000. When action came back to Staples, he, after some consideration, moved all in for 600,000 and change. Wilson snap-called.
Matt Staples: J♥J♣ Andrew Wilson: K♠K♦
Quite the unfortunate scenario for Staples, and the 8♠2♥10♥10♦5♣ board offered zero conzellation. Staples was eliminated in twenty-second place for £1,150. Two minutes before that, his brother and fellow PartyPoker Team Pro, Jaime Staples, was eliminated in twenty-fourth place for the same prize. Wilson now plays more than three times the average stack.
The only player left in the field who wears the PartyPoker patch in an official capacity is PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Daniel Diaz.
Dean Perry opened to 35,000 from the Lo-jack before Andrew Wilson three-bet to 125,000 on the Button. Seated in the Small Blind, Will Stephenson committed his 110,000 stack to make the call. Getting a fair price, Perry made the call.
Perry check-called 60,000 from Wilson on the 6♣J♦K♥ flop. Both players checked the 8♦ turn, and the dealer revealed the 8♣ river. After another check from Perry, Wilson bet 125,000. Some consideration later, Perry made the call.
Will Stephenson: A♦Q♥ Andrew Wilson: K♠10♥ Dean Perry: 10♠10♣
Wilson scooped the lot; it was quite a significant pot. As his stack reached seven digits, Stephenson was eliminated in twenty-sixth place for £1,150.
Action folded to reigning champion Deniz Orhan, who limped in the Big Blind. Kevin Brzozowski min-raised from the Big Blind, and Orhan made the call.
Orhan check-called 25,000 from Brzozowski on the 3♦J♣9♣ flop. On the 10♠ turn, Orhan forced his opponent all in for 131,000. Brzozowski snap-called.
Deniz Orhan: 10♦9♦ Kevin Brzozowski: K♠K♦
Orhan had a firm grip, but the Poker Gods had other plans. The K♥ meant top set for Brzozowski. Orhan immediately turned his head around, staring into this poker.pro live reporter’s eyes, with a gaze that said, “Did you see that?” I did, Orhan, and I feel your pain.
Seated in the Hi-jack, Calogero Morreale open-shoved for 158,000. PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples re-shoved for 281,000 from the Cut-off. The two of them were soon heads-up to the flop, and they turned over their hole cards.
Calogero Morreale: A♣9♣ Jaime Staples: A♥K♦
Staples was still in the lead on the 4♣Q♠6♠ flop. Status quo on the J♦ turn, but the brutal 9♠ river saw Morreale doubling up, leaving Staples with 83,000.
Staples open-shoved for the aforementioned 83,000 the very next hand from the Hi-jack. The decision was on Luke Newman in the Big Blind. “I mean, if I call with this and win, it would be pretty funny.” “We’re here to gamble,” Staples encouraged his opponent. “Fudge it,” Newman smiled, and made the call.
Jaime Staples: A♣Q♠ Luke Newman: 4♥3♦
Staples rose from his chair and leaned over the table like a hungry gazelle. “Let’s go,” he clinched his fist as the board spelled out K♠K♣2♠9♥7♠. He’s still alive.
Calogero Morreale: 346,000 Luke Newman: 300,000 Jaime Staples: 190,000
The board read 8♥7♦Q♦6♥6♦ with roughly 100,000 in the middle. Will Stephenson (Big Blind) bet 35,000, and was then faced with a 135,000 raise from PartyPoker Team Pro Matt Staples (Cut-off). After some consideration, Stephenson made the call.
Staples tabled 10♥9♥ for the straight. Stephenson shared a cheeky smile before throwing his cards into the muck.
Action folded to Kevin Remeile, who opened to 32,000 from the Cut-off. James Smith three-bet shoved 128,000 on the Button, and Remeile made the call.
James Smith: A♠J♣ Kevin Remeile: K♥Q♣
Smith was ahead, albeit by the smallest of margins. It was Remeile who claimed the lead on the 7♣5♥Q♠ flop, and Smith didn’t catch up on the 8♠6♥ runout. He was eliminated in thirty-second place for £1,000.
Michael Breen opened to 25,000 on the Button, and Luke Newman made the call from the Big Blind.
After an initial check from Newman, Breen continued for 31,000 on the 8♦4♠7♣ flop. Newman then completed a check-raise move, seeing as he moved all in for 122,000. Breen made the call without hesitation.
Luke Newman: A♦4♥ Michael Breen: J♥J♠
Newman saw the bad news and rose from his chair. The old trick always seems to work; Newman improved to a superior pair on the A♥ turn, and the Q♣ couldn’t help Breen. As such, Newman doubled up.
Lin Chen opened to 24,000 from the Lo-jack before PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples moved all in for 137,000 from the Big Blind. Chen snap-called.
Jaime Staples: A♥9♥ Lin Chen: 10♦10♣
The odds were in Chen’s favor, but the Poker Gods granted Staples a 9♣A♠K♦4♠K♥ flop. “He’s a dangerous man now,” tablemate Michael Breen said while Staples stacked his newly-won chips.
Seated UTG, short-stacked Karl Roberts open-shoved for 82,000 UTG. Action folded all the way to PartyPoker Tour Team Pro Matt Staples, who made the call, ahving Roberts covered by the smallest of margins.
Karl Roberts: Q♥8♥ Matt Staples: K♠Q♣
Staples maintained his lead on the 5♦3♦7♠ flop. No dice for Roberts on the 9♦4♠ runout, and Roberts was sent to the rail in thirty-sixth place for £1,000.
Two hands after the bubble burst, the players went on the second 15-minute break of the day. Craig Heaton (thirty-ninth) and Darren Harris (thirty-eighth) both were eliminated shortly before for £1,000 each. Below are the biggest stacks this poker.pro live reporter was able to identify during the break.
Matthew Cox open-shoved 37,000 from UTG+1. Daniel Lubera made the call on the Button before Csaba Kovacs forced Lubera all in for 180,000 in total. Lubera made the call, meaning the players were three-way to the flop.
Matthew Cox: 6♦6♠ Csaba Kovacs: 5♥5♣ Daniel Lubera: A♠Q♥
A decent crowd gathered around Table 14 to watch the drama unfold. It was Lubera who claimed the lead on the J♦Q♣10♣ flop. “Nine!” a spectator joked as the dealer revealed the 8♦ turn. The river was instead the 7♦, meaning Lubera scooped the pot. At the same time, Cox became the unfortunate bubble boy, and the remaining 39 players are now all guaranteed the €1,000 min-cash.
Csaba Kovacs: 475,000 Daniel Lubera: 423,000 Matthew Cox: 0
Kevin Remeile opened to 20,000 from the Hi-jack. The short-stacked PartyPoker Team Pro Matt Staples then moved all in for 42,000 on the Big Blind. Remeile made the call, and the two contestants were soon given the green light to table their holdings.
Matt Staples: A♦K♠ Kevin Remeile: A♠9♦
Staples had his opponent dominated, and he maintained his lead on the Q♥3♥8♥ flop. The 2♥ turn brought some possibilities for a chop, but the K♣ river ultimately granted Staples the full double-up. “Let’s go, Matt!” brother/fellow PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples rose from a nearby table and applauded his brother.
On the bubble, action folded to Arian Hassankashani, who limped from the Small Blind. Seated in the Big Blind, Csaba Kovacs put pressure on his opponent with a 60,000 raise. Hassankashani made the call.
Both players checked the 7♦A♥A♣ flop. Hassankashani check-called 65,000 from Kovacs on the 5♥ turn, and both players then checked the K♥ river.
Hassankashani tabled 7♣6♠, and Kovacs mucked his hand. An impressive play from Hassankashani considering the circumstances.
Csaba Kovacs: 624,000 Arian Hassankashani: 600,000
Seated UTG, Lee Mulligan min-raised to 16,000. Rajinder Shina moved all in for 70,000 on the Button; after receiving the count, Mulligan made the call.
Rajinder Shina: A♣K♥ Lee Mulligan: Q♥J♣
The Big Slick of Shina would not stand the test of time, as the 7♥2♥9♠Q♥J♣ board favored Mulligan. Shina was out, and as such, the dreaded bubble is now here. Hand-for-hand play has been announced.
Dean Perry opened to 16,000 from the Lo-jack. Jon Bentley shoved for 86,000 on the Button, and Perry made the call.
Jon Bentley: A♣J♥ Dean Perry: K♠Q♥
Bentley extended his lead on the 10♠A♠2♦ flop. He was still looking good on the 5♥ turn, but the brutal J♠ river saw Perry improving to a straight. Unfortunate for Bentley, who exited the tournament area; only two more will have to go before the remaining players will be guaranteed a £1,000 min-cash.
Action folded to Gajanathan Kamalanathan, who opened to 19,000 on the Button. Seated in the Small Blind, PartyPoker Tour Ambassador moved all in for 130,000. Kamalanathan couldn’t have made the call any quicker.
Barry Carter: A♠6♠ Gajanathan Kamalanathan: A♦K♦
Carter was in rough shape, and he didn’t produce a miracle as the board spelled out Q♣A♥8♠9♦8♥. That’s one ambassador out; Daniel Diaz is still in the mix, as well as PartyPoker Team Pros Jaime Staples and Matt Staples.
Thales Salomao opened to 15,000 on the Button. Reigning champion Deniz Orhan moved all in for 77,000 from the Small Blind. After Kevin Brzozowski folded his Big Blind, Salomao made the call.
Deniz Orhan: Q♣J♣ Thales Salomao: 9♣9♥
Orhan claimed the lead on the 3♦Q♦10♥ flop, and as Salomao didn’t catch up on the A♣3♠ runout, Orhan doubled up.
Seated UTG, PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Barry Carter open-shoved 60,000. Action folded to chip leader Gajanathan Kamalanathan, who made the call from the Big Blind.
Barry Carter: K♠J♣ Gajanathan Kamalanathan: A♠9♥
Both players improved to a pair on the 4♥K♣9♣ flop. Carter was in the lead, and the 3♠5♦ granted him a full double-up.
Gajanathan Kamalanathan: 850,000 Barry Carter: 129,000
PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples opened to 14,000 from the Lo-jack. Kin-Hang Man then moved all in for 79,000 from the Cut-off. When the decision was back on Staples, he made the call without hesitation.
Kin-Hang Man: 7♠7♥ Jaime Staples: A♦K♦
“Give me some paint, dealer,” Staples was hoping for face-cards. The board spelled out 9♠J♥6♦5♥3♥, meaning Man doubled up.
Action folded to PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples, who opened to 11,000 from the Hi-jack. Seated in the Big Blind, Dean Perry was the sole caller.
Perry check-called a 20,000 bet from Staples on the 5♥3♠9♦ flop. Action repeated itself on the 7♣ turn, the only difference being the sizing from Staples now was 20,000. Perry completed the check trifecta on the 9♥ river, and Staples now pulled the trigger. He moved all in for 98,000, and Perry flew back in his chair, releasing a heavy sigh. After a minute’s contemplating, he folded, revealing his 7♦5♦ holdings.
David Herd opened to 12,000 UTG. Alex Montgomery (Hi-jack) and Kevin Brzozowski (Small Blind) both made the call.
All three players checked the K♠3♣7♠ flop. Brzozowski bet 13,000 on the 10♠ turn, and Herd snap-raised to 32,000. Montgomery folded before Brzozowski made the call.
After a check from Brzozowski on the K♦ river, Herd bet 95,000. “Aw, maaan,” a troubled Brzozowski said after a minute’s worth of consideration, and then, he folded.
Being a good sport, Herd tabled his 7♥7♦ holdings.
Marta Porter min-raised to 8,000 UTG. Calogero Morreale made the call from the Cut-off before Michael Breen three-bet to 40,000 from the Small Blind. Porter swiftly got out of the way, but Morreale moved all in for 142,000. Breen thought the scenario over for a good four minutes before making the call, having Morreale covered.
Calogero Morreale: A♥Q♥ Michael Breen: K♠Q♦
Morreale was still ahead on the J♣8♠6♥ flop. The 10♣ turn offered Breen an up-and-down straight draw, but he didn’t get there on the 10♥ river.
“That’s amazing, and in only 20 minutes as well,” Porter saluted Morreale, referring to the fact that he’s turned 45,000 into something much more respectable in the blink of an eye.
Calogero Morreale open-shoved for 45,000 from UTG+1. Kin-Hang Man made the call from the Cut-off before Marta Porter three-bet to 130,000 on the Button. A visibly troubled Man contemplated his decision for a minute or two before letting his hand go; Morreale and Porter tabled their holdings.
Calogero Morreale: K♥K♠ Marta Porter: 10♥10♣
What a dream spot for Morreale, as he could triple up against only one opponent. That was the case as the board spelled out 5♠4♦5♥2♠Q♥.
Marta Porter: 230,000 Kin-Hang Man: 170,000 Calogero Morreale:145,000
PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Daniel Diaz opened to 8,000 from the Hi-jack. Seated in the Big Blind, Ka Pun made it 25,000. Diaz made the call.
Pun checked the 5♣8♥4♣ flop, and Diaz bet 27,000. It didn’t take long for Pun before he completed a check-raise move to 100,000. This sent Diaz deep into the tank; he counted out his stack, looked into the soul of his opponent, and considered his options for a good three minutes, before letting his hand go.
“Show me the kings of eights?” Diaz asked if his opponent was interested in revealing his hand. Not a single word came out of the mouth of Pun. The PartyPoker Tour Ambassadors are not off to a great start; Barny Boatman is out, and roughly 15 minutes ago, Barry Carter folded on the flop in a three-bet pot.
Thales Salomao opened to 8,000 UTG. Seated in the Big Blind, Josh Hardman was the sole caller.
Both players checked the 8♠4♦4♠ flop. Hardman checked again on the Q♥ flop, and Salomao bet 10,000. Hardman then completed a check-raise move to 32,000, and Salomao made the call.
Hardman sized up to 65,000 on the 3♥ river. Rather swiftly, Salomao made the call.
Josh Hardman: 7♣5♦ Thales Salomao: A♠Q♦
Salomao’s gut feeling was correct, and top-pair top-kicker awarded him the pot.
The board read J♣5♣7♦K♣9♦ with 108,000 in the middle. Reigning champion Deniz Orhan (Big Blind) checked it over to Lin Chen (UTG). After some consideration, Chen forced Orhan all in for his remaining 98,000.
“This is sick,” Orhan leaned back in his chair, visibly troubled by the situation. “I have ace-king,” he stated, trying to get some information out of his opponent. “You show if I fold?” Orhan continued. Chen was laughing. After a while, Orhan decided to let his hand go, folding A♥K♦ face-up.
Andrew Wilson opened to 6,000 UTG. Barny Boatman then moved all in for 30,000 from the Big Blind; after receiving the count, Wilson made the call.
Barny Boatman: J♣J♠ Andrew Wilson: J♦10♦
Even though improving to a set on the Q♦3♦J♥ flop, Boatman wasn’t looking too comfortable. He maintained his lead on the 10♠ turn, but as Wilson improved to a flush on the 8♦ river, Boatman’s £500 Main Event endeavor came to an end.
PartyPoker Tour regular James Grogan opened to 7,000 from the Cut-off. PartyPoker Tour Ambassador/poker legend Barny Boatman made the call from the Small Blind.
Boatman check-called 10,000 from Grogan on the K♣J♦6♣ flop. Both players checked the 7♠ turn, and Boatman then checked for a third time on the 10♣ river. Grogan bet another 10,000 and was then faced with a 60,000 raise from Boatman. After spending a minute in the tank, Grogan made the call.
Barny Boatman: 9♣9♠ James Grogan: J♣10♠
Boatman’s bluff didn’t work, and the bigger chunk of his stack went to Grogan.
Andrew Wilson min-raised to 6,000 from the Cut-off. Seated in the Big Blind, Ka Pun was the sole caller.
Pun check-called 4,000 from Wilson on the A♣2♥Q♦ flop before both players checked the 3♠ turn. Pun took the aggressive lead with a 10,000 bet on the 4♠ river, then snap-folded to a 38,000 raise from Wilson, who is the chip leader at Table 13.

Man, time is crazy. The days have just flown past this week, and it’s already the penultimate day of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Manchester. It’s a bittersweet feeling, but nevertheless, this Saturday (June 20) promises more action than Martin Scorcese.

There’s also Day 1b of the £250 PLO Masters Main Event (which is also going on as we speak) and Day 1c later in the evening. In terms of side event action, there are three intriguing tournaments on today’s schedule, alongside two satellites.

Alex Montgomery has been eliminated in thirty-third place. As such, 32 players are left in Day 1b of the £500 Main Event, and play has wrapped up. The survivors are now bagging their chips, and they’ll be reunited with them tomorrow at 16:00 for Day 2.
That wraps up today’s live coverage on poker.pro. That being said, the Day 1b chip counts will be uploaded soon.
Tomorrow’s live coverage will kick off at 16:00 when Day 2 commences. See you all then.
PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Rebecca Hardisty open-shoved 33,000 from UTG+2. Connor Lewis re-shoved for perhaps 250,000 from the Small Blind, and the two of them were soon heads-up to the flop.
Rebecca Hardisty: A♣9♦ Connor Lewis: A♦Q♣
Lewis had his opponent dominated, and Hardisty didn’t manage to produce a miracle as the board spelled out 3♠A♥5♥7♥2♦. She went out in thirty-fourth place, and now, only one more player has to go.
Seated UTG+1, Dean Perry opened to 10,000. Action folded to Gary Callan, who moved all in for roughly 60,000 from the Small Blind. Perry twisted and turned in his chair for a minute before making the call.
Gary Callan: A♦7♣ Dean Perry: J♥10♥
Callan maintained his lead on the Q♦6♦Q♣ flop, but the 10♣ turn wasn’t the card he wished for. The 2♠ ultimately ended his tournament life.
Seated UTG; Michael Breen min-raised to 8,000. Reigning champion Deniz Orhan (Big Blind) was the sole caller.
After a check from Orhan, Breen continued for 4,000 on the 7♦Q♥J♣ flop. Orhan then moved all in for what looked to be 60,000, and Breen called faster than you could say “Manchester.”
Deniz Orhan: K♣9♠ Michael Breen: 7♥7♣
Orhan was in dire need to hit his gutshot, but the 6♥4♠ runout didn’t make the prophecy come true. As such, the 2025 PartyPoker Tour Manchester £500 Main Event champion is out, and now, only four more players will have to go before the survivors can bag and tag.
What is destined to be the final 15-minute break of the day has commenced. Below are four stacks that this poker.pro live reporter think need attention.
PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Barry Carter opened to 6,000 UTG. Dean Perry (Button), Josh Hardman (Small Blind), and Chun Man (Big Blind) all made the call.
After Hardman and Man both checked, Carter bet 14,000 on the 3♥7♣10♠ flop. Perry and Hardman both made the call before Man decided to get out of the way. All three players then checked the 7♦ turn. Hardman checked, Carter bet 25,000, Perry mucked, and Hardman made the call.
Carter tabled K♠K♦, and Hardman threw his cards into the muck.
Josh Hardman: 217,000 Barry Carter: 212,000 Dean Perry: 175,500 Chun Man: 70,500
James Butterworth opened to 6,000 from the Lo-jack. Seated right next to him, Daniel McIntyre made the call before Matthew Harniman moved all in for roughly 70,000 on the Button. Butterworth folded before McIntyre made the call, being the player at risk with 60,000 on the dot.
Matthew Harniman: K♣J♣ Daniel McIntyre: A♣J♥
McIntyre had his opponent dominated. Harniman flopped a flush draw on 5♣9♥3♣ flop, but the 2♠9♠ ultimately granted McIntyre the full double-up, leaving Harniman in dire needs.
Imran Primohamed, who finished second in the £150 Mini Main Event yesterday, opened to 6,000 on the Button. Sebastian Toperczer moved all in for 42,500 on the Big Blind, and Primohamed made the call.
Sebastian Toperczer: K♠J♠ Imran Primohamed: A♣10♣
Both players improved to a pair on the 6♦A♥K♦ flop, but Primohamed was still in the lead. No further improvement for Toperczer on the 9♣Q♠ runout, and Primohamed’s shot at redemption got some strength.
Wing Ko opened to 5,000 from UTG+1. Action folded all the way to PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Rebecca Hardisty, who moved all in for 18,500 from the Big Blind. Ko made the call.
Rebecca Hardisty: 6♠6♥ Wing Ko: 4♣4♥
The pocket sixes of Hardisty stood the test of time as the board spelled out J♠K♠7♥5♥5♦, and she doubled through Ko.
The board read 7♥J♦3♦10♥ with 13,500 in the middle. Sebastian Dadbin (Big Blind) bet 6,000, and PartyPoker Team Pro Matt Staples (Button) made the call.
Dadbin slowed down and checked the K♥ river. Staples bet 12,000, and Dadbin folded after spending one, maybe two, minutes in the tank.
“Good fold,” Dadbin told Staples while the latter was stacking his newly won chips. Staples shared a smile.
Will Stephenson min-raised to 5,000 from the Lo-jack. Seated in the Small Blind, Dean Perry made it 15,000. Stephenson made the call.
Stephenson called a 10,000 continuation bet from Perry on the [pcnAhAd7h][/pcn] flop, then another 30,000 on the 4♥ turn. Perry then moved all in for 84,000 on the 10♥ river, effectively putting Stephenson at risk for 39,500. Stephenson leaned back in his chair and considered the situation carefully. Stephenson was sitting quietly in his chair, but was all of a sudden confronted by the waiter. Perhaps his relaxed response to the bar attendant gave Stephenson enough information to fold.
Play has resumed after the dinner break, and it has been confirmed that 32 players will make it through to Day 2.
One who won’t is Oliver Hutchins. After an opening from Michael Breen to 4,000 from the Hi-jack, Hutchins moved all in for 34,000 from the Cut-off. Breen made the call.
Oliver Hutchins: Q♠Q♥ Michael Breen: A♣J♠
There’s always an ace on the flop, isn’t it? Even though being in good shape, Hutchins trailed on the 5♠A♠K♦ flop. The 4♣3♦ runout sealed the deal, and Hutchins will have to enter either the ongoing Day 1c turbo flight or tomorrow’s 1d turbo flight if he wants to continue his £500 Main Event endeavor.
The players in Day 1b of the £500 Main Event are currently midway through the 45-minute dinner break. Late registration will be closed once they return and Level 10 commences. Below are the biggest stacks this poker.pro live reporter was able to identify. What’s amazing is that the current chip leader, Ronnie Marland, had 14,000 on the last break. Quite the spin!
PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Natalie Bromley min-raised to 3,200 UTG. Rajinder Shina (Cut-off), Imran Primohamed (Button), and Sebastian Toperczer (Big Blind) all made the call.
Action was checked to Bromley on the Q♣4♦9♣ flop, and she continued for 6,500. Shina made the call, whilst the remaining competition got out of the way. Bromley continued for another 10,000 on the 9♠ turn, and Shina wasn’t going anywhere. Action went check-check on the 4♣ river.
Shina tabled A♣Q♠, and Bromley threw her hand into the muck shortly before pursuing the 45-minute dinner break.
With his elimination of Imran Primohamed in second place, Anwar Kanj is now crowned the winner of the £150 Mini Main Event during the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Manchester. He takes home the prestigious title, the coveted trophy, and the £15,500 first-place payout.
That wraps up today’s live coverage here on poker.pro. That being said, a longer recap of the Mini Main Event will be uploaded tomorrow morning; make sure not to miss that one, as it will include every knook and cranny of the action.
From this moment forward, poker.pro live reporter Christoffer Karlén will switch focus to the £500 Main Event. Day 1a is currently ongoing at Manchester235 Casino; the chip counts from that flight will be uploaded once the flight is finished. Tomorrow’s live coverage will kick off at 12:00 when Day 1b is afoot.
Again, don’t forget to check out the recap tomorrow morning. In the meantime, enjoy the full results from the Mini Main Event below.
Imran Primohamed limped on the Button before Anwar Kanj made it 2,000,000 from the Big Blind. Primohamed decided to pull the trigger; he moved all in for 12,500,000 and was swiftly called by Anwar Kanj.
Imran Primohamed: A♥3♣ Anwar Kanj: A♥J♠
Primohamed was dominated, and things weren’t exactly looking brighter on the 8♦J♦7♥ flop. “It’s never easy,” Kanj said as the dealer revealed the 3♦ turn. The 5♣ river ultimately sealed the deal, though. Primohamed finished as the runner-up for £10,000, while Kanj became owner of all the chips.
Imran Primohamed limped on the Button, and Anwar Kanj checked his Big Blind.
Kanj check-called 600,000 from Primohamed on the 3♠8♣4♥ flop. Kanj checked again on the Q♣ turn, and Primohamed bet 2,000,000. Kanj then completed a check-raise move to 4,000,000, and Primohamed made the call.
Primohamed moved all in for 13,300,000 on the 2♣ river. Kanj, who was the player at risk with 3,020,000, made the call.
The board read 7♦A♥7♥J♠K♦ with 3,500,000 in the middle. After a check from Imran Primohamed (Big Blind), Anwar Kanj (Button) bet 2,500,000.
“I flopped the flush draw and rivered a pair,” Primohamed said in an attempt to get intelligence from Kanj. After a minute’s worth of consideration, Primohamed made the call.
Kanj tabled 10♠7♠, and three-of-a-kind was enough to secure the pot.
Imran Primohamed limped on the Button, and Anwar Kanj checked his Big Blind.
Kanj check-called 500,000 from Primohamed on the J♣9♥Q♥ flop. Kanj checked again on the 8♥ turn, and Primohamed sized up to 2,000,000. Rather swiftly, Kanj forced his opponent all in for 8,300,000 in total. Primohamed snap-called.
Anwar Kanj: 10♣7♦ Imran Primohamed: 10♥3♥
Kanj’s straight was no good, and the Q♦ river couldn’t change the outcome. Primohamed doubled up to once again take a solid lead.
Imran Primohamed put out a big stack of blue 500,000 chips, raising to 10,000,000. Anwar Kanj committed his 9,000,000 stack to make the call.
Imran Primohamed: A♣Q♦ Anwar Kanj: A♠J♦
Primohamed was in really good shape to secure the win. Both players improved to a pair on the J♣3♣Q♠ flop. The K♦ brought some opportunities for a chop. There wasn’t a ten on the river, but the incredible J♠ saw Kanj improving to trips to take a solid lead. Oh, how the turn-tables.
Kye Hamilton open-shoved 6,800,000 from the Small Blind. Imran Primohamed peeked at his hole cards, then made the call from the Big Blind.
Kye Hamilton: A♣7♠ Imran Primohamed: 9♣9♥
The nines of Primohamed were unthreatened on the 4♦10♦4♥K♦8♠ board, and Hamilton went out in third place for £7,000. As such, the stage is now set for a heads-up showdown between Primohamed and Anwar Kanj.
Imran Primohamed opened to 500,000 on the Button. Anwar Kanj made the call from the Small Blind.
Kanj check-called a 400,000 continuation bet from Primohamed on the 2♦4♥3♦ flop. Both players checked the 10♣ turn, and Primohamed then called a 1,200,000 bet from Kanj on the 9♦ river.
“Wow,” Primohamed uttered as Kanj tabled 9♥9♣ for the rivered set. “You didn’t even need it,” he said, as he mucked his hand.
Seated in the Cut-off, Anwar Kanj opened to 600,000. Action folded to Andrew Mathews, who moved all in for roughly 3,000,000 from the Big Blind. Kanj made the call.
Andrew Mathews: 4♠4♦ Anwar Kanj: 10♣10♥
Mathews was in rough shape, and no four or any other help for him on the 3♣7♠3♦K♠7♣ board. All his chips went to Kanj, and Mathews bid farewell in fourth place for £5,000.
Kye Hamilton open-shoved 2,425,000 from the Cut-off. Seated in the Big Blind, Anwar Kanj made the call without hesitation.
Kye Hamilton: 5♥5♣ Anwar Kanj: A♣K♦
Hamilton maintained his small lead on the 6♠2♦3♣ flop. He improved to a straight on the 4♣ turn; Kanj’s rivered pair of kings on the courtesy of the K♠ was rendered pointless, and Hamilton received a full double-up.
Matthew Archer opened to 1,000,000 from the Cut-off, leaving himself with 400,000 behind. Seated in the Small Blind, chip leader Imran Primohamed made the call.
Both players checked the 8♣A♣4♠ flop. After another check from Primohamed on the 3♠ turn, Archer moved all in for his remaining 400,000. “I don’t have anything good, but I can’t fold for that little,” Primohamed said, and made the call.
Matthew Archer: J♣10♦ Imran Primohamed: K♠Q♠
“Oh,” Primohamed was surprised to see he was ahead. No dice for Archer on the 5♦ river, and Archer was eliminated in fifth place for £3,500.
Short-stacked Matthew Archer appeared to be card dead for quite some time. Eventually, he was forced all in from 100,000 from the Small Blind. Kye Hamilton got a “free” chance to eliminate an opponent.
Matthew Archer: 10♦10♥ Kye Hamilton: J♥8♥
It was a crucial time for Archer to pick up a premium hand, to say the least. The board spelled out 3♥4♠A♦3♦Q♠, and he was now playing 400,000.
Two hands later, he moved all in for the aforementioned 400,000 from the Hi-jack. Andrew Matthews (Small Blind) and Anwar Kanj (Big Blind) both made the call.
Matthews and Kanj checked down every street of the 6♥9♠A♠J♦Q♥ board.
Matthew Archer: A♥10♦ Andrew Matthews: K♠2♠ Anwar Kanj: 4♣2♣
A pair of aces granted Archer a triple-up. Is this the beginning of something extraordinary?
Chip leader Imran Primohamed opened to 400,000 from the Hi-jack. Kye Hamilton decided to defend his Big Blind.
Both players checked the 2♣7♣J♣ flop. Hamilton check-called 300,000 from Primohamed on the 8♠ turn, then checked the 10♥ river. Primohamed sized up to 1,200,000, and Hamilton snap-called.
Primohamed tabled 10♣9♣ for a turned straight, and he extended his chip lead even further at the expense of Hamilton.
Action folded to Kye Hamilton, who opened to 400,000 on the Button. Nim Rattan decided to defend her Big Blind.
First to act, Rattan checked the 3♠2♦9♣ flop. Hamilton forced his opponent all in for 1,275,000, and Rattan made the call.
Kye Hamilton: A♣9♦ Nim Rattan: 9♠6♠
Rattan was out-kicked, and the Q♠Q♥ runout didn’t see her produce a miracle. As such, Rattan, who began Day 3 as the chip leader, busted in sixth place for £2,500 moments before the first 20-minute break of the day.
Action folded to Antony Horn, who moved all in for 645,000 from the Hi-jack. Seated right next to him, big-stacked Anwar Kanj made the call from the Cut-off. Soon, they were heads-up to the flop.
Antony Horn: A♦8♥ Anwar Kanj: A♣Q♠
Horn was dominated, and he wasn’t able to produce a miracle on the 2♣4♦K♣6♠10♠ board. As such, Horn bid farewell in seventh place for £1,890.
Action folded to Antony Horn, who opened to 320,000 on the Button. Anwar Kanj made tthe call from the Small Blind, and the two of them were soon heads-up to the flop.
Kanj checked the 4♦5♦7♦ flop. Horn bet 250,000, and within a split second, Kanj forced his opponent all in for 1,350,000 in total. Horn folded after 30 seconds’ worth of consideration.
The board read 10♠J♦3♥10♥ with roughly 1,000,000 in the middle. Nim Rattan (Big Blind) checked it over to Andrew Mathews (UTG), who bet 450,000. Rattan made the call, then checked the 7♥ river. Mathews moved all in for 1,460,000; after contemplating her decision for three minutes, Rattan made the call.
Andrew Mathews: A♠10♣ Nim Rattan: J♣7♣
Trip tens were good for Mathews; he doubled up, while Rattan lost a considerable amount of her stack.
Seated UTG+1, David Greenough limped the 120,000 Big Blind. Antony Horn made the call from the Small Blind before Anwar Kanj made it 470,000 from the Big Blind. Greenough decided to move all in for 2,250,000; Horn folded before Kanj made the call.
David Greenough: A♠10♣ Anwar Kanj: K♠J♠
Greenough was ahead by the smallest of margins, but it was Kanj who took the lead on the 10♥4♠J♦ flop. Greenough didn’t catch up on the Q♣Q♦ runout, and Greenough became the first casualty of the final table, going out in ninth place for £1,100.
After losing roughly half his stack to Imran Primohamed, Ali Mallu was left with 2,500,000.
Primohamed opened to 250,000 on the Cut-off, and Mallu wasted zero time before going all in for the aforementioned 2,500,000 on the Button. When action came back to Primohamed, he made the call swiftly.
Ali Mallu: K♥7♥ Imran Primohamed: 10♣10♦
The board spelled out 2♥2♦J♠4♥9♠. No help for Mallu, and he was eliminated in tenth place for £900. As such, the nine-handed final table is now set.
The 10 remaining players in the £150 Mini Main Event have returned for Day 3. They’ve taken their seats, and the dealers are currently distributing the cards.
It’s the sixth day of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Manchester, and boy, is it going to be a big one. Only 10 players remain in the £150 Mini Main Event, and in roughly one hour, they will take their seats and resume the fight for the prestigious title, the coveted trophy, and the £15,500 first-place payout. Nim Rattan is the only woman left in the field and the chip leader going into the finale; that being said, she has her work cut out for her, as there are many competent competitors still in the mix.
Today’s schedule also includes the inaugural flight for the £500 Main Event, two juicy side events, and two satellites. All in all, it’s going to be another busy day at Manchester235 Casino. See you all in roughly 30 minutes, when the live coverage of the Mini Main Event kicks off.

Ten players made it through to Day 3 of the £150 Mini Main Event. Nim Ratta will be the chip leader when Day 3 kicks off at 16:00 tomorrow (Thursday, June 18). Below are the chip counts.
Tournament director Jacobo Marcelletti announced that five more hands would be played before the remaining players would bag and tag. During the very last hand, Kyle Hamilton opened to 250,000. Antony Horn moved all in for roughly 1,400,000 from the Cut-off. Short-stacked Dominic Bedling decided to go all in for 520,000 on the Big Blind. Hamilton folded; Horn and Hamilton tabled their holdings.
Antony Horn: 10♦10♥ Dominic Bedling: A♦9♠
Bedling didn’t favor from the Q♥6♦4♥K♣6♥ board. He went out in eleventh, and the 10 survivors bagged their chips. They’ll be reunited with them tomorrow at 16:00.
That wraps up today’s poker.pro live coverage. The editorial office will soon return with the chip counts. See you tomorrow when Day 3 kicks off at 16:00.
Benjamin Liu open-shoved for 655,000 from the Cut-off. Anwar Kanj made the call from the Small Blind.
Benjamin Liu: 6♠6♥ Anwar Kanj: K♥10♠
Liu maintained his lead on the J♦4♣9♣ flop, and on the 4♠ turn. His luck ran out on the 10♦ river, though, and the skillful Liu was eliminated in twelfth place for £750.
Benjamin Liu opened to 225,000 on the Button. Seated in the Big Blind, Nim Ratta was the sole caller.
Ratta checked the 6♣9♦4♣ flop. Liu continued for 200,000, and Ratta wasted little time before raising to 550,000. Liu spent a minute considering the situation before making the call.
The dealer revealed the Q♥ turn, and Ratta swiftly moved all in. “I’m not that strong, but I just don’t think you have anything,” Liu tried to get a reaction from Ratta. After some contemplating, Liu ultimately made the call.
Nim Ratta: Q♦6♥ Benjamin Liu: J♣9♠
The turn was quite a good card for Ratta. Liu improved to a weaker two-pair on the J♦ river; the bigger part of his chips went to Ratta, who’s seeking to become the first-ever female £150 Mini Main Event champion of the PartyPoker Tour. She seem to be the current chip leader.
Cristian Popescu opened to 160,000 from the Cut-off before Andrew Mathews moved all in for 770,000. Mihail Zglavoci re-shoved for roughly 1,000,000 from the Big Blind, which was enough to scare Popescu away.
Andrew Mathews: 3♥3♠ Mihail Zglavoci: A♥Q♥
Zglavoci had a pretty hand, but it couldn’t beat pocket threes as the board spelled out K♠2♣10♠9♦4♣. Mathews doubled, and Zglavoci was left with breadcrumbs. A few hands later, he moved all in from the Cut-off for what was now 280,000, after Jonathan Roberts had opened to 160,000 from the Hi-jack. Roberts made the call.
Mihail Zglavoci: K♠Q♥ Jonathan Roberts: 7♠7♦
“I haven’t won any of these situations today,” Roberts assured Zglavoci that he was in good shape. The Poker Gods decided to stir the pot and delivered the 9♣6♥7♥ flop. “It’s not over,” set-flopper Roberts delivered a pep talk to Zglavoci. “Now it is,” one of the other players at the table declared, as Roberts improved to a full house on the 6♦ turn. The 10♠ river was pointless, and Zglavoci was eliminated in seventeenth place for £550.
“I thought I’d try pre-complaining and see if it worked,” Roberts said as he stacked his newly-won chips.
Jonathan Roberts: 2,200,000 Andrew Mathews: 1,600,000 Mihal Zglavoci: 0
Action folded to Joshua Price, who opened to 160,000 on the Button. Dominic Bedling made the call from the Small Blind before Chris Allen moved all in for 1,270,000. Price made the call, whilst Bedling mucked his hand.
Chris Allen: A♣J♣ Joshua Price: J♥J♠
Allen didn’t receive any help on the Q♥10♠2♠7♥5♥ board, and he became the first one to go after the break, earning £550 for finishing in nineteenth place.
It’s time for the final 15-minute break of the £150 Mini Main Event. The 19 players who will soon resume play will play down to nine players, or two more 30-minute levels. Below are the current chip counts.
PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Barry Carter open-shoved for roughly 450,000 from the Cut-off. Seated in the Big Blind, Ali Mallu made the call.
Barry Carter: 8♦7♦ Ali Mallu: K♠9♦
Both players improved to a pair on the 2♠K♦7♦ flop; the 3♥A♣ runout ultimately saw Mallu securing the pot. As such, Carter was eliminated in nineteenth place for £550.
Joshua Price open-shoved 755,000 from the Hi-jack. Ali Mallu peeked at his hole cards, then made the call from the Big Blind without hesitation.
Joshua Price: A♦4♦ Ali Mallu: J♠J♣
Mallu was ahead, but Price took a solid lead on the 8♠A♠K♠ flop. No flush or anything else for Mallu on the 8♥4♥ runout, and the two players more or less traded places in the chip counts.
PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Rebecca Hardisty late registered for Day 1b of the £500 Main Event, and just took her seat at Table 9.
During her very first hand, Hardisty (Hi-jack) three-bet to 5,000, after Bogdan Boerescu opened to 2,400 from UTG+1. Boerescu made the call.
Boerescu check-called 7,000 from Hardisty on the 6♥9♥10♦ flop, then another 12,000 on the Q♣ turn. Boerescu checked the K♦ river, and Hardisty checked it back.
Bogdan Boerescu: J♣10♦ Rebecca Hardisty: A♣A♠
Aces were indeed cracked, and Hardisty lost 50% of her stack on the first hand. She’ll bounce back!
Darach Rogan limped the 1,000 Big Blind from the Cut-off before reigning champion Deniz Orhan moved all in for roughly 15,000. Amir Kamal re-shoved for roughly 50,000 from the Big Blind, and he was soon heads-up with Orhan to the flop as the players turned over their hole cards.
Deniz Orhan: K♥7♣ Amir Kamal: K♦Q♦
No miracle for Orhan on the A♣3♥J♠K♠4♣ flop, and his second bullet came to an end. Will it be third time’s the charm for our 2025 PartyPoker Tour Manchester £500 Main Event champion?
The board read 3♠10♦8♣2♣ with 25,600 in the middle. Darach Rogan (UTG+1) bet 10,000, and the decision was now on Sigurjon Thoradson. He moved all in for a tiny bit more than 50,000. Being the player at risk, Rogan folded.
Play has resumed after the second break, and there are no fewer than three PartyPoker Tour Ambassadors sitting next to each other at Table 8.
The board read J♥7♦Q♠2♥ with 6,500 in the middle. Daniel Diaz (Cut-off) bet 4,500, and fellow Ambassador Natalie Bromley (Button) made the call. Action then went check-check on the 3♣ turn.
“Oh, Danny, Danny,” Bromley sighed as Diaz tabled J♣10♦. After revealing the A♦, Bromley mucked her cards. The third PartyPoker Tour Ambassador at the table, Barry Carter, usually laughs in these spots, but now, he was as quiet as a churchmouse.

It’s time for another short break in Day 1b of the £500 Main Event. Below are some of the biggest stacks this poker.pro live reporter was able to identify.
After his first bullet came to an end (courtesy of reigning champion Deniz Orhan), PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Sam Acheampong is now back in Day 1b of the £500 Main Event.
Big-stacked Michael Breen opened to 1,800 from UTG+2. Aacheampong (Lo-jack) and Connor Butt (Big Blind) both made the call.
All three players checked the A♣9♦Q♦ flop. After another check from Butt on the 5♥ turn, Breen bet 2,500. Acheampong wasted little time before raising to 7,500. Butt folded before Breen made the call. Both contestants then checked the 3♥ river.
Acheampong turned over A♦5♦ for two-pair. This poker.pro live reporter saw one of the cards Breen revealed, the A♠, before he threw them into the muck.

PartyPoker Team Pro Matt Staples is now in Day 1b of the £500 Main Event. His brother, Jaime Staples, bagged 67,000 in yesterday’s Day 1a flight.
After two players, David Greenough and Richard Mackay, limped from early position, Staples made it 4,000. Both of his opponents made the call. Action was checked to Staples on the 9♣8♥10♠ flop, and he continued on the aggressive path with a 10,000 bet. Greenough then moved all in for roughly 20,000. Mackay folded before Staples made the call.
David Greenough: Q♣J♣ Matthew Staples: 9♦8♦
Greenough was ahead with the flopped straight, but Staples improved to a full house on the 9♥ turn. The 7♣ river didn’t change anything, and Staples now plays twice the average stack.
Action folded to Imran Primohamed, who finished second in the £150 Mini Main Event. Seated in the Cut-off, he min-raised to 1,200. Juan Oyarzabal defended his Big Blind.
Both players checked the 9♠K♥7♣ flop, and Primohamed then called 1,500 from Oyarzabal on the A♣ turn. Oyarzabal bet another 3,200 on the 7♦ river, and Primohamed snap-called. Oyarzabal was apparently deep-sea fishing, seeing as he threw his cards straight into the muck. As such, Primohamed didn’t have to show; what the two players were holding will forever be an enigma.
Ali Mallu limped from UTG. Sigurjon Thordarson made the call from UTG+1 before Kai Chu made it 2,700 on the Button. Mallu folded, but Thordarson four-bet to 8,600. After some consideration, Chu, made the call.
Thordarson continued on the aggressive path with a 6,000 bet on the 6♠10♠6♣ flop, and Chu made the call. The dealer revealed the 2♥ turn, and Thordarson moved all in for 24,100. Chu counted his stack, considered the situation for a minute or two, then made the call.
Sigurjon Thordarson: A♣K♥ Kai Chu: J♣10♣
A sublime call from Chu, and he was awarded, as the 9♣ river didn’t bring any nasty surprises. All of Thordarson’s chips went to Chu; time will tell whether Thordarson decides to rebuy or not.
One of the two Spanish PartyPoker Tour Ambassadors, Daniel Diaz, has entered Day 1b of the £500 Main Event. The other one, Barbara Jimenez, is also on-site in Manchester, but is not currently in the tournament.
Seated in the Lo-jack, Connor Butt limped the 400 Big Blind. So did James Buckley (Hi-jack) and Angelo Avanzato (Small Blind) before 2025 PartyPoker Tour London (Winter Edition) £500 Main Event winner Thomas Sanderson checked his Big Blind.
Action was checked to Butt on the 3♦2♥8♥ flop, who bet 1,500. Buckley and Avanzato both made the call before Sanderson put in a 6,000 raise. Avanzato was the sole caller. The two contestants then checked down the 9♣7♣ runout.
Angelo Avanzato: A♣5♥ Thomas Sanderson: 9♥6♥
“I knew you had nothing,” a disappointed Avanzato said, referring to his call on the flop. Nevertheless, Sanderson claimed the pot, and his campaign to become the first-ever two-fold PartyPoker Tour Main Event champion is off to a decent start.
It’s time for the first 25-minute break of the day in Day 1b of the £500 Main Event. Below are the biggest stacks this poker.pro live reporter was able to identify.
Action folded to Chenyi Lyu, who made it 1,000 from the Small Blind. Darach Rogan defended his Big Blind.
Rogan called another 700 from Lyu on the Q♣5♦10♣ flop. Both players checked the 4♥ turn, and Rogan bet 2,400 on the 3♦ river after a check from Lyu. Lyu made the call.
Rogan tabled K♠Q♥ and was awarded the pot. It’s quite the table lineup, including PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Sam Acheampong and reigning champion Deniz Orhan.
Day 1b of the £500 Main Event is approaching the number of entries scored in yesterday’s Day 1a flight (65). Today, late registration will be open until Level 10 commences (approximately 19:25).
Some familiar faces in the crowd at this stage are PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Barry Carter, reigning champion Deniz Orhan, and 2025 PartyPoker Tour London (Winter Edition) £500 Main Event winner Thomas Sanderson.
Michael Breen opened to 600 UTG. Gary Callen (Lo-jack) and Hasmukh Khodiyara (Hi-jack) both made the call before Elliot Anthonioz made it 3,000 from the Cut-off. Back to Breen, who four-bet to 7,500. Callen and Khodiyara both went out of their way before Anthonioz made the call.
Rather interesting, Breen bet a shy 700 on the 4♥10♥2♣ flop. Both players then checked down the 7♥2♥ runout.
First to show, Breen tabled 8♦7♦. Anthonioz didn’t expect to see that hand; he threw his cards into the muck.

It’s Friday, and it’s the beginning of the second weekend of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Manchester. The days are going by unexplainably fast, but there are still three more days of fun and games at Manchester235 Casino.

Deniz Orhan topped a field of 243 entries to win the 2025 PartyPoker Tour Manchester £500 Main Event for £19,843 after a three-way deal with Ronnie Marland and Ion Oprea. The final table featured a strong lineup that included PartyPoker ambassadors Natalie Bromley and Alexander Georgiev, while Oprea came close to completing an incredible double after already winning the £150 Mini Main Event earlier in the festival.

The wait is over as the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Manchester gets underway this weekend at Manchester235 Casino. Running through June 21, the festival features a packed schedule headlined by the £100,000 guaranteed Main Event, the £150 Mini Main Event, PLO Masters events, mixed games, and five poker.pro-branded tournaments. As the fourth stop of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour season and the first of three consecutive UK festivals, Manchester promises nine days of non-stop poker action.
The poker.pro live reporting team will be on the floor from Sunday, June 14, bringing readers live updates, chip counts, photos, interviews, and daily recaps throughout the festival. Coverage begins with Day 1 of the £150 Mini Main Event, one of the tour’s most popular tournaments, before following all the major storylines as players battle for trophies, titles, and six-figure guaranteed prize pools.

One can’t deny that Day 2 of the £500 Main Event is the highlight of today’s schedule. As this poker.pro live reporter is writing this post, Day 1d (the fourth and final starting-day flight) is still ongoing. Late registration is closed, and a total of 21 entries means that five brave warriors and/or warrioresses will advance to Day 2. They will join the combined 63 who’ve already made it through from the three other flights. The £100,000 guarantee has been reached; the final prize pool reads £115,700, meaning there’ll be quite a lot to play for.
There’s also Day 1b of the £250 PLO Masters Main Event (which is also going on as we speak) and Day 1c later in the evening. In terms of side event action, there are three intriguing tournaments on today’s schedule, alongside two satellites.
