Barbara Jiménez opened to 625,000 on the Button. Seated in the Big Blind, Francisco Garrido Cruz three-bet to 2,800,000. Moving as swiftly as always, PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Barbara Jiménez moved all in for 8,325,000, and Cruz made the call.
Barbara Jiménez: A♥9♥ Francisco Garrido Cruz: J♥J♦
The runout felt like it was scripted in Hollywood; Jiménez picked up additional outs on the 4♣5♣2♥ flop. The Q♦ saw Cruz staying in the lead, and the K♠ sealed the deal. Jiménez had displayed great poker skills throughout the tournament, and even if it stings right now, she should be very happy with her performance and the €20,035 she got for her second-place finish.
Francisco Garrido Cruz: 19,100,000 Barbara Jiménez: 0
Francisco Garrido Cruz opened to 500,000 on the Button, and Barbara Jiménez swiftly moved all in for 4,050,000. Cruz made the call as fast as humanly possible.
Barbara Jiménez: A♠8♥ Francisco Garrido Cruz: A♠8♥A♦Q♦
Cruz had Jiménez covered, and in very rough shape. It was looking like this was going to be the hand. He maintained his lead on the 2♣9♠J♠ flop. He took an even firmer grip on the 6♠ turn. Poker can be a brutal game, though; Jiménez hit the magical 8♣ on the river to double up and extend the battle.
Francisco Garrido Cruz: 10,750,000 Barbara Jiménez: 8,350,000
Francisco Garrido Cruz made it 400,000 on the Button, and Barbara Jiménez made the call from the Big Blind.
Jiménez checked the 7♣9♦A♦ flop, and Cruz bet 250,000. Jiménez made it 550,000, and Cruz decided to stick around. The dealer revealed the J♠ turn, and Jiménez wasted little time before moving all in for 3,975,000. After spending perhaps three minutes in the tank, Cruz decided to fold.
Thanks to the stream, we know the players’ hole cards.
Barbara Jiménez: 9♠7♦ Francisco Garrido Cruz: 10♥9♥
Francisco Garrido Cruz: 12,625,000 Barbara Jiménez: 5,975,000
The second hand of heads-up, Francisco Garrido Cruz limped the 200,000 Big Blind on the Button. PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Barbara Jiménez wouldn’t allow it, as she put in an 850,000 raise from the Big Blind. Cruz decided to go for it; he moved all in for 5,625,000. Jiménez made the call, hoping to see Cruz off in second place.
Francisco Garrido Cruz: 3♥3♦ Barbara Jiménez: A♦J♠
The small pocket pair of Cruz was still ahead on the 5♥2♠2♣ flop. The 6♦ turn gave Jiménez more outs, but the 8♠ ultimately saw Cruz securing a full double-up. He has successfully turned the tables, and he is now the chip leader.
Francisco Garrido Cruz: 11,450,000 Barbara Jiménez: 7,650,000
Seated on the Button, Jose Maria Nieto Martin open-shoved for 2,615,000. Francisco Garrido Cruz folded his Small Blind before PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Barbara Jiménez comfortably made the call from the Big Blind.
Jose Maria Nieto Martin: A♦K♥ Barbara Jiménez: Q♠Q♥
It was the third time today Jiménez was involved in a queens versus ace-king flip; would she go three for three? Yes, it turned out; the board spelled out 2♦8♠4♠2♣8♣, which meant that Martin was eliminated in third place for an impressive €14,400.
That means that the stage is now set for a heads-up showdown between Jiménez and Cruz, with Jiménez having the chip lead.
Barbara Jimenéz: 14,285,000 Francisco Garrido Cruz: 4,815,000 Jose Maria Nieto Martin: 0
Jose Aguilera, who was the chip leader after the dinner break, has had some bad luck since then. He’s lost some small pots here and there, and then, the big one, when Jose Maria Nieto Martin doubled up against him. A lot of his chips were distributed to the other players, and he became the shortest stack.
Francisco Garrido Cruz opened to 320,000 on the button, and Barbara Jiménez called from the Small Blind. Then, Jose Agiluera moved all in for 1,795,000 from the Big Blind. Cruz let his hand go before Jiménez made the call.
Jose Aguilera: 10♥10♦ Barbara Jiménez: A♥K♠
Jiménez took the lead in this very crucial flip on the 5♠Q♥K♦ flop. The board completed with 4♥8♦, and that sealed Aguilera’s fate. Despite being the chip leader after the dinner break, he went out in fourth for €11,400, and Jiménez became the first player in the €500 Main Event to reach an eight-digit stack.
After Jose Aguilera opened to 325,000 on the Button, Jose Maria Nieto Martin moved all in for 1,015,000 from the Small Blind. When the action came back to Aguilera, he made the call.
Jose Maria Nieto Martin: K♠K♣ Jose Aguilera: A♦8♣
Aguilera received additional outs to eliminate Martin on the J♦8♥2♥ flop, but as the board completed with 4♥10♣, Martin’s cowboys were deemed the best hand.
Jose Maria Nieto Martin: 2,350,000 Jose Aguilera: 5,210,000
Jose Maria Nieto Martin opened to 325,000 on the Button. Seated in the Big Blind, PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Barbara Jiménez made the call.
Jiménez came out firing on the 3♦6♥Q♦ flop with a 225,000 donk bet, and was faced with a 625,000 raise from Martin. Jiménez made the call, and the dealer revealed the 9♣ on the turn. Jiménez now check-called a hefty 1,150,000 bet from Martin. On the 5♥ river, Jiménez wasted little time before going all in for 1,585,000, and Martin snap-called.
Barbara Jiménez: 8♦7♦ Jose Maria Nieto Martin: Q♥3♥
A rivered straight saw Jiménez win quite a significant pot. As Martin was left with a few Big Blinds, Jiménez became the chip leader.
Barbara Jiménez: 7,810,000 Jose Maria Nieto Martin: 935,000
Chip leader Jose Aguilera opened to 240,000 UTG. Jose Maria Nieto Martin made the call on the Button, and Barbara Jiménez defended her Big Blind.
All three players checked the A♠4♥5♦ flop. First to act, Jiménez then bet 275,000 on the A♥ turn. Aguilera made the call before Martin folded. The river was the A♦, and Jiménez now bet 500,000. After contemplating his decision for about one minute, Aguilera folded.
Thanks to the stream, we know the players’ holdings; Jiménez pulled off a decent bluff.
Barbara Jiménez: 9♠6♥ Jose Aguilera: Q♥8♥
Jose Aguilera: 7,395,000 Barbara Jiménez: 4,545,000
Ruben Perez Correa open-shoved for 395,000 on the Button. Chip leader Jose Aguilera received a fantastic price from the Big Blind and decided to make the call.
Ruben Perez Correa: A♦J♠ Jose Aguelira: Q♣10♦
Aguilera wasted little time before taking over the lead on the 5♦Q♠8♦ flop. Correa never caught up on the 5♥6♥ runout, and as such, he bid farewell in fifth place for €9,400.
Ruben Perez Correa opened to 210,000 from the Cut-off. Francisco Garrido Cruz made the call from the Small Blind, before PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Barbara Jiménez three-bet to 400,000 from the Big Blind. Both of her opponents made the call.
After an initial check from Cruz on the J♥A♦8♠ flop, Jiménez continued for 100,000. Both of her opponents made the call, and the dealer revealed the 9♥ on the turn. Cruz checked again before Jiménez moved all in for 795,000. Correa made the call before Cruz folded.
Barbara Jiménez: A♠A♥ Ruben Perez Correa: A♣10♦
Correa didn’t improve to a straight on the 5♣ river, and Jiménez won a considerable pot.
Barbara Jiménez: 3,190,000 Ruben Perez Correa: 1,315,000
Jose Maria Nieto Martin min-raised to 200,000 from the Cut-off. Barbara Jiménez made the call from the Small Blind, and the two of them were soon heads-up to the flop.
Jiménez donked 100,000 on the 9♥8♥7♦ flop, and Martin raised to 300,000. Jiménez called almost instantly, and the dealer revealed the 4♥ on the turn. Jiménez check-called a 625,000 bet from Martin, and then checked the 8♠ river. Martin bet 1,165,000, and Jiménez called within two seconds.
Jose Maria Nieto Martin: J♥10♠ Barbara Jiménez: 10♣8♣
Martin had the best hand with the flopped straight, and it’s an educated guess that Jiménez would’ve gotten away cheaper, wasn’t it for the 8♠ river card. She lost a considerable amount of her stack.
Jose Maria Nieto Martin: 5,880,000 Barbara Jiménez: 1,145,000
Jose Maria Nieto Martin opened to 160,000 from the Hi-jack. Manuel Antonio Delgado moved all in for 1,000,000 on the Button. When action came back to Martin, he made the call.
Manuel Antonio Delgado: Q♥J♣ Jose Maria Nieto Martin: 9♠9♦
Delgado was flipping for his tournament life, but he wasn’t able to connect as the board spelled out A♣A♦3♣6♥8♥. He was eliminated in sixth place and got €7,600 for his feat.
Jose Maria Nieto Martin: 3,190,000 Manuel Antonio Delgado: 0
Manuel Antonio Delgado clicked it to 160,000 from the Hi-jack. PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Barbara Jiménez made the call from the Cut-off, and the two contestants were soon heads-up to the flop.
Delgado fired a 170,000 continuation bet on the 9♦10♣8♠ flop, and was faced with a 330,000 raise from Jiménez. Delgado made the call, and then continued for 160,000 on the 7♠ turn. Jiménez made the call, and Delgado then slowed down and checked the 7♣ river. Jiménez bet 400,000, and Delgado made the call within a split second.
Barbara Jiménez: 9♥9♣ Manuel Antonio Delgado: Q♦J♥
A rivered full house secured Jiménez the pot.
Barbara Jiménez: 4,285,000 Manuel Antonio Delgado: 2,330,000
Seated UTG, Jose Aguilera min-raised to 160,000. Ruben Perez Correa made the call from the Hi-jack, before Fernando Liano three-bet to 450,000 on the Button. Aguilera then moved all in for 3,505,000, having both of his opponents covered. Correa decided to let his hand go before Liano committed his 1,540,000 stack to make the call.
Jose Aguilera: A♠Q♠ Fernando Liano: 9♦9♣
It was a classic foin flip confrontation, and this time, it would be the two overcards’ turn to prevail. Aguilera took a solid lead on the A♣6♠K♦ flop, and no help for Liano on the 8♥K♠ runout. For his seventh-place finish, Liano was awarded €6,000.
UTG, Jose Aguilera opened to 125,000. Action folded all the way to Jose Lopez, who decided to make the call from the Big Blind.
Action Went check-check on the 5♥9♦8♣ flop. Lopez dipped his toes in the Waters with a 110,000 bet on the 10♦ turn, and Aguilera made the call. Lopez continued on the aggressive path with a 195,000 bet on the A♦ river, and Aguilera then forced his opponent all in for 670,000 in total. Lopez snap-called.
Jose Aguilera: K♦Q♦ Jose Lopez: Q♣J♠
Lopez’s turned straight was no match against Aguilera’s rivered nut flush. Lopez bid Farewell in eighth Place for €4,600, as Aguilera added chips to his stack. He claimed the chip lead, albeit by a small margin.
UTG, Barbara Jiménez opened to 175,000. Jose Maria Nieto Martin then three-bet to 500,000 from the Cut-off. When action came back to Jiménez, she moved all in for 1,740,000. Martin made the call.
Barbara Jiménez: Q♠Q♥ Jose Maria Nieto Martin: A♦K♠
This was the second time this final table Jiménez was up with pocket queens against ace-king, and once again, her ladies got the job done, as the board this time spelled out 4♣6♥5♣J♣J♠. For the third time during the nine-handed affair, she doubled up, this time at the expense of Martin.
Barbare Jiménez: 3,630,000 Jose Maria Nieto Martin: 1,535,000
After losing most of his chips to Barbara Jiménez, Carlos Gutierrez Garcia moved all in for 145,000 from the Small Blind. Receiving a good price, Jose Aguilera made the call from the Big Blind.
Carlos Gutierrez Garcia: A♦2♥ Jose Aguilera: 8♠7♦
Garcia was ahead with the smallest of margins, but this would turn out not to be his day. Aguilera more or less flopped his opponent dead on 5♠6♦4♠. The 2♦A♥ runout didn’t bring a chop, and as such, Garcia became the first casualty of the final table, going out in ninth for €3,600.
Jose Aguilera: 1,905,000 Carlos Gutierrez Garcia: 0
Action folded to PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Barbara Jiménez, who open-shoved for 750,000 on the Button. Seated in the Big Blind, Carlos Gutierrez Garcia made the call.
Barbara Jiménez: A♥K♣ Carlos Gutierrez Garcia: 6♠6♣
What followed was a runout that belonged in Hollywood. Jiménez took the lead on the A♦A♣4♠ flop. Garcia reclaimed the driver’s seat by some margin on the 6♦ turn, and Jiménez was now in rough shape. The Poker Gods were on her side, though; she improved to a superior full house on the 4♥ river. Jiménez earned herself a full double-up, while Garcia survived with crumbs.
Barbara Jiménez: 1,590,000 Carlos Gutierrez Garcia: 175,000
Seated in the Hi-jack, Fernando Liano opened to 100,000. Barbara Jiménez made the call from the Small Blind, and Jose Lopez joined the fun from the Big Blind.
Action was checked to Liano on the 8♦5♣2♥ flop, and he continued for 75,000. Jiménez made the call before Lopez raised to 260,000. Liano made the call, whilst Jiménez decided to let her hand go.
Lopez kept the aggression going with a 225,000 bet on the 8♥ turn, and Liano made the call once again. Lopez bet 350,000 on the A♥ river, leaving himself with 615,000 behind. Liano considered his options for one minute before forcing his opponent all in. Ultimately, Lopez decided to let his hand go.
Thanks to the stream, we know the players’ hole cards.
UTG, PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Barbara Jiménez opened to 125,000. Ruben Perez Correa made the call from the Hi-jack, before Jose Maria Nieto Martin three-bet to 425,000 from the Cut-off. When action came back to Jiménez, she moved all in for 870,000 in total. Correa swiftly folded before Martin snap-called.
Barbara Jiménez: Q♠Q♦ Jose Maria Nieto Martin: A♣K♠
It was a classic coin flip situation, with Jiménez being the player at risk. The 4♦9♥5♣J♣J♠ flop favored her, though, and the short stack doubled up.
Jose Maria Nieto Martin: 2,060,000 Barbara Jiménez: 1,990,000
Below is the seat draw and the chip counts for the final table of the €500 Main Event. Ruben Perez Correa is the current chip leader, but Manuel Antonio Delgado is breathing down his neck.
Action folded to Matthew Wharrie, who moved all-in for roughly 550,000 on the Button. Seated in the Big Blind, Manuel Antonio Delgado made the call.
Matthew Wharrie: A♦9♥ Manuel Antonio Delgado: A♣J♠
Wharrie was dominated, and he didn’t manage to overcome the odds on the K♣5♥7♥6♠Q♣ board. He was eliminated in tenth place for €3,000, and the nine-handed final table is now set.
That means that the live coverage here on poker.pro will now follow the 30-minute delay on the stream. The editorial office will soon return with the final table seat draw and chip counts.
Manuel Antonio Delgado: 3,805,000 Matthew Wharrie: 0
The very next hand after Simon Marks’ exit in thirteenth place, Rodrigo Araujo moved all in for 135,000 from the Hi-jack (Araujo began Day 3 with 905,000, but was crippled after an early all-in encounter didn’t go his way). Jose Aguilera three-bet to 280,000 from the Button, before Manuel Antonio Delgado made it 1,000,000 from the Small Blind. Aguilera went out of the way, and Araujo was heads-up to the flop against Delgado.
Rodrigo Araujo: J♦7♣ Manuel Antonio Delgado: 7♥7♦
Araujo was in rough shape, and the 5♠A♣6♣4♠Q♠ didn’t help him. All his chips went to Delgado, and he was eliminated in twelfth place for €2,500.
Manuel Antonio Delgado: 3,100,000 Rodrigo Araujo: 0
Day 3 of the €500 Main Event is afoot, and there was no slow start.
Simon Marks open-shoved for 430,000 from the Hi-jack. Jose Aguilera re-shoved for 770,000 from the Small Blind, and after Manuel Antonio Delgado folded his Big Blind, the two players turned over their cards.
Simon Marks: 6♥6♦ Jose Aguilera: A♥Q♥
“Argh,” Marks sighed as Aguilera immediately connected on the 7♦A♦7♥ flop. No miracle for Marks on the K♦7♣ runout, and he became the first Day 3 casualty, going out in thirteenth for €2,500.

Below are all the results from the tournament so far.
The board read 4♥6♦4♦ with roughly 360,000 in the middle. Carlos Gutierrez Garcia (Hi-jack) bet 150,000, and Francisco Garrido Cruz (Button) made the call. Garcia continued for 250,000 on the 10♦ turn, and Cruz called once more. Garcia slowed down and checked the A♠ river; after some consideration, Cruz bet 250,000. Garcia made the call within a minute.
Cruz tabled his K♦9♦ holdings and took down the massive pot with the nut flush. Ten minutes earlier, Jack Sambrook (seventeenth, €1,650) and Dara O’Kearney (sixteenth, €1,650) were both eliminated.
Francisco Garrido Cruz: 2,400,000 Carlos Gutierrez Garcia: 1,675,000
This poker.pro live reporter is most certainly not sleeping on the job. The truth is that there hasn’t been that much action on the outer tables lately. Players are hugging their chips more now that the payouts are getting bigger. There’s been some shoves and some folds, and some small pots here and there.
Andres Herrera opened to 60,000 UTG, leaving himself with a mere 25,000 behind. Seated right next to him, qualifier Matthew Wharrie three-bet to 125,000 from the Lo-jack. Action folded back to Herrera, who made the call for his tournament life.
Matthew Wharrie: A♦K♥ Andres Herrera: A♠7♥
Herrera was dominated, and he was unable to produce a miracle on the 2♥6♦Q♠5♣2♦ board. For his twenty-first-place finish, he was awarded €1,350.
One might think this is turning into the “Dara O’Kearney Only” blog. While the Irish poker legend and this poker.pro live reporter shares a passion for long-distance running; there’s no partial shenanigans going on; the action caught has just involved him by chance.
O’Kearney checked his Big Blind after Carlos Gutierrez Garcia (Small Blind) limped. Action went check-check on the 3♣10♠4♠ flop. Garcia dipped his toes in the waters with a 20,000 bet on the 7♠ turn, and O’Kearney made the call. Garcia sized up to 45,000 on the 9♥ river, and O’Kearney put in the chips for a call.
Carlos Gutierrez Garcia: J♦9♠ Dara O’Kearney: 7♦3♥
Two pairs were good, and O’Kearney took down a small one.
Carlos Gutierrez Garica: 1,400,000 Dara O’Kearney: 525,000
Eloy Cordoba open-shoved for 125,000 UTG. After receiving the county, Dara O’Kearney reshoved for roughly 260,000. Soon enough, the two were heads-up to the flop.
Eloy Cordoba: J♠8♠ Dara O’Kearney: A♠10♦
O’Kearney maintained his lead on the 5♥6♥Q♣ flop. He cemented it on the A♣ turn, and after the 4♣, he knocked out Cordoba in twenty-third place for €1,350.
Francisco Garrido Cruz min-raised to 40,000 from UTG+1. Seated in the Big Blind, Dara O’Kearney was the sole caller.
Action went check-check on the 2♥A♠9♠ flop. O’Kearney check-called a 40,000 bet from Cruz on the 6♠ turn. The Irishman checked for a third time on the J♦ river, and was then faced with an 80,000 bet from Cruz. After spending perhaps one minute in the tank, O’Kearney decided to fold. It may not sound like a massive pot, but O’Kearney did, in fact, lose a considerable amount of his stack.
Francisco Garrido Cruz: 1,230,000 Dara O’Kearney: 260,000
PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples has been eliminated from the €500 Main Event, earning €1,200 for his twenty-fifth place finish. Staples went out on the featured table; the one who wants to see how he busted can navigate to the live stream on PartyPoker’s YouTube channel.
That means that PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Barbara Jiménez is the only player left officially representing the PartyPoker brand. With 24 players left, the floor is now conducting a redraw for the final three tables.
Fairly short-stacked Hugo Benitez opened to 180,000 from UTG+1, leaving himself with 20,000 behind. Jose Maria Nieto Martin then moved all-in for roughly 800,000 from the Hi-jack. The decision eventually came to Benyamin Canatan on the Button, who committed his 620,000 to make the call. When action was back on Benitez, he put in his last chips to make the call.
Jose Maria Nieto Martin: Q♦Q♥ Benyamin Canatan: J♠J♦ Hugo Benitez: J♥10♥
Things were looking good for Martin to score a double knockout. The 2♣7♦9♦ flop didn’t threaten his ladies. The turn was the 10♦, and for good measure, Martin improved to a set on the Q♣ river. As such, he sent two players to the rail and improved his stack significantly.
Jose Maria Nieto Martin: 1,650,000 Benyamin Canatan: 0 Hugo Benitez: 0
Action folded to Antonio Ramon Munoz, who min-raised to 32,000 on the Button. When the decision was on Irish poker legend Annette O’Carroll, she peeked at her hole cards, did the math in her head, then moved all in for 180,000 on the dot. Munoz made the call without hesitation.
Annette O’Carroll: A♣8♥ Antonio Ramon Munoz: J♣J♦
“That’s bad news for me,” O’Carroll declared as she saw Munoz’s hand. The Poker Gods were looking out for O’Carroll, though; she took a commanding lead on the 6♥8♠8♣ flop, and the Q♥Q♣ runout sealed the deal. With a full house, she doubled through Munoz.
Antonio Ramon Munoz: 538,000 Annette O’Carroll: 384,000
Bulgaria’s Ivan Ivanov opened to 25,000 from the Cut-off and was then faced with a 90,000 three-bet from Francisco Garrido Cruz in the Big Blind. Ivanov snap-called the raise.
Cruz pondered for a minute before continuing for 50,000 on the 3♥A♠8♠ flop. Again, Ivanov made the call faster than the speed of lightning. Cruz checked the 5♠ turn, and Ivanov checked back within a split second. The exact same scenario played out on the J♠ river.
Francisco Garrido Cruz: K♦J♦ Ivan Ivanov: A♣Q♣
Maybe Ivanov has somewhere to be and wanted to speed up the game. Hopefully for him, it’s going to be a long night until he reaches the final table.
Francisco Garrido Cruz: 1,300,000 Ivan Ivanov: 578,000
2024 EPT Paris Main Event winner Barny Boatman opened to 25,000 on the Button. Seated in the Small Blind, Jack Sambrook three-bet to 65,000. Back to Boatman, then, who four-bet to 125,000, leaving himself with 40,000 behind. Sambrook forced his opponent all-in for 175,000 in total, and Boatman, naturally, made the call.
Jack Sambrook: Q♠Q♣ Barny Boatman: A♠J♠
Boatman was trailing. He picked up a straight draw on the Q♣K♣5♥, while Sambrook improved to a set. Boatman was left drawing dead on the K♦ turn; the A♣ river was dealt for ceremonial reasons. With his full house, Sambrook eliminated Boatman in forty-third place for €1,000.

The 44 players left in the €500 Main Event are currently enjoying a 60-minute dinner break. Below are the first casualties since reaching the money. The poker.pro editorial office will soon return with some of the biggest stacks in the room.
Action folded to Geron Dalipi, who opened to 16,000 on the Button. Seated in the Small Blind, Andres Herrera three-bet to 50,000, and Dalipi made the call.
Herrera continued with a 45,000 bet on the 7♥3♦Q♠ flop. After a minute’s worth of pondering, Dalipi moved all in for 215,000. Herrera made the call faster than you could say “Vamos rápido,” and soon, the players were given the green light by the floor to turn over their cards.
Geron Dalipi: Q♥J♣ Andres Herrera: Q♣3♥
Herrera was way ahead with two-pair, and Dalipi didn’t manage to catch up as the board completed with 6♣8♠. As such, Dalipi became the unfortunate bubble boy, going out in fifty-sixth place. As he exited the tournament area, the remaining players could breathe a sigh of relief; they’ve now secured a €1,000 min-cash.
Matthew Warrie made it 16,000 UTG. Seated in the Small Blind, Rodrigo Araujo was the sole caller.
Araujo check-called a 16,000 bet from Warrie on the 7♣K♣4♥ flop. Action went check-check on the K♠ turn, and on the J♣, it was Araujo who claimed the driver’s seat, as he bet 45,000. After some consideration, Warrie made the call.
Rodrigo Araujo: A♠Q♣ Matthew Warrie: A♥Q♦
A nice hero call from Warrie, but it only earned him 50% of the pot. PartyPoker Team Pro is seated at the same table, enjoying a good book.
Geron Dalipi opened to 12,000 from the Hi-jack. He got two customers: Carlos Gutierrez Garcia called from the Small Blind, and Ruben Perez Correa joined the fun from the Big Blind.
Action was checked to Dalipi on the 9♦K♥3♥ flop, and he continued for 10,000. Garcia called before Correa got out of the way. Garcia check-called a 16,000 bet from Dalipi on the 7♥ turn, and the dealer then revealed the A♠ river. Garcia checked again, and Dalipi now bet 22,000. After two minutes’ worth of consideration, Garcia made the call. Dalipi turned over 3♠3♣ for a flopped set, and Garcia acknowledged the strength of his opponent’s hand.
The €500 Main Event is now down to 58 players, meaning three more will go out before the 55 remaining are all guaranteed a €1,000 min-cash.
Geron Dalipi: 220,000 Carlos Gutierrez Garcia: 207,000
Matthew Warrie min-raised to 12,000 from the Hi-jack before Jose Aguilera made it 36,000 to go from the Cut-off. Christopher Lamb made the call from the Button, and Warrie then mucked.
Aguilera put out a 20,000 continuation bet on the 7♥2♥2♠ flop, and Lamb wasted little time before raising to 50,000. After a minute’s worth of consideration, Augilera forced his opponent all in for 295,000 in total. Lamb looked visibly troubled, and after considering his options for a good three minutes, he folded, revealing his K♥K♣ holdings. Aguilera looked surprised over the fold; he turned over his hand, Q♥10♥, before raking in the pot.
The remaining 68 players in Day 2 of the €500 Main Event are now on a 25-minute break. Just before the break, a big hand played out at Table 24.
Adrian Creagh opened to 10,000 from the Lo-jack. Daniel Ciancio then three-bet to 30,000 from the Cut-off. Next, Gonzalo Rodriguez four-bet shoved for roughly 160,000. As if things weren’t already crazy enough, Dara O’Kearney then five-bet shoved, having Rodriguz covered. Creagh folded, and so did Ciancio, albeit after spending at least four minutes in the tank.
Gonzalo Rodriguez: A♦K♣ Dara O’Kearney: K♠K♦
Rodriguez was in rough shape, and he didn’t manage to find an ace or any other help as the board spelled out 4♠K♥Q♥4♥10♥. As such, he was eliminated, and O’Kearney secured a very respectable stack right before the break.
Luke Bird limped UTG. Carlos Alonso made the call from the Small Blind before PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Barbara Jiménez checked from the Big Blind.
After an initial check from Alonso on the A♣K♥7♣ flop, Jiménez dipped her toes in the waters with a 10,000 bet. This was enough to scare both of her opponents away.
Not an exciting hand at all; this poker.pro live reporter just wanted an excuse to say that Jiménez has a very good stack.
Jose Maria Rodriguez opened to 10,000 from the Hi-jack. Lucia Antunes put out a 30,000 three-bet from the Button, and Rodriguez then moved all in for 85,000. Antunes made the call.
Jose Maria Rodriguez: 10♥10♦ Lucia Antunes: A♦K♠
It was a classic coin flip situation, and Rodriguez’s pocket pair stood the test of time, as the board spelled out 9♠7♣4♥J♣7♥. He received a full double-up at the expense of Antunes.
Lucia Antunes: 195,000 Jose Maria Rodriguez: 182,000
PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Niall “Firaldo” Farrell is out of the €500 Main Event. He’s the second ambassador to hit the rail today, as Barry Carter was the first one. Time will tell how Firaldo decides to spend the rest of his night.
After finding a set of queens against his opponent’s aces, PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples is now up to 440,000. The last time this poker.pro live reporter visited his table, he was playing around 150,000, so it seems like things are picking up for the Canadian now.
Francisco Huelva opened to 8,000 UTG. Niall “Firaldo” Farrell is watching the football on his phone, but he decided to play some poker as well, as he defended his Big Blind.
Firaldo check-called a 10,000 bet from Huelve on the 3♠8♠6♥ flop. Action repeated itself on the 8♦ turn, the only difference being that Huelva now sized up to 25,000. Both players checked the 3♦ river.
Firaldo turned over A♦3♥ for a rivered full house and improved his stack by 50%.
Niall “Firaldo” Farrell: 152,000 Francisco Huelva: 125,000
Poker legend/The Hendon Mob founder Barny Boatman opened to 8,000 from the Button. Lampros Proimos decided to dance with Boatman, as he called from the Big Blind.
Proimons check-called a 5,000 bet from Boatman on the 3♥Q♥J♣ flop. Both players checked the Q♣ turn and the 8♥ river. First to show, Proimos turned over 9♣8♦, and Boatman sighed as he mucked his hand.

PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples opened to 7,000 UTG. Collette Stewart made the call from the Lo-jack, and the two of them were soon heads-up to the flop. “Watch out, Collette, I’ve got a monster,” Staples informed his combatant. “Shut up,” Stewart joked with her old friend, and the table shared a laugh.
Staples check-called a 7,000 bet from Stewart on the 6♣A♠3♠ flop. “There it is!” Staples screamed in joy as the dealer revealed the 9♥ turn. Yet, he decided to check, and Stewart checked behind. Staples checked for a third time on the 7♦ river, and Stewart bet 20,000. “Show the bluff,” Staples urged his opponent while throwing his cards in the middle. Stewart turned over the 3♥ as she raked in the pot.
Ivan Monje opened to 7,000 UTG. Kevin Moreno made the call from UTG+1, before PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Barry Carter three-bet to 25,000 from the Cut-off. Monje and Moreno both decided to make the call.
Action was checked to Carter on the J♠4♣9♠ flop, and after doing the math, he moved all-in for what this poker.pro live reporter estimated to be 180,000. Monje called faster than the speed of lightning before Moreno mucked.
Barry Carter: K♥K♦ Ivan Monje: 4♦4♠
Unfortunate from Carter, and the Q♥7♥ offered no consolation. As such, he became the first PartyPoker Tour Ambassador to bid farewell from Day 2 of the €500 Main Event.
UTG, Francisco Huelva min-raised to 6,000. Carlos Gutierrez Garcia (Hi-jack), Jonathan Rees (Small Blind), and PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Niall “Firaldo” Farrell (Big Blind) all made the call.
Rees fancied an 11,000 donk bet on the 8♠4♥3♣ flop, and Huelva was the sole caller. Rees kept going on the 10♣ turn with a 20,000 bet. Huelva stuck around, and the action then went check-check on the 10♦ river.
Rees turned over J♦8♦, and Huelva’s cards hit the muck.
Blaise Bourgeois opened to 6,000 from the Lo-jack. Seated in the Small Blind, Luke Bird three-bet to 13,000. Bourgeois made the call.
Bird continued on the aggressive path with a 22,000 continuation bet on the 4♣Q♦3♥ flop, and Bourgeois made the call. On the 10♥ turn, Bird snap-shoved, effectively forcing Bourgeois all-in for 86,000. Without Hesitation, Bourgeois made the call.
Luke Bird: 2♠2♦ Blaise Bourgeois: Q♥10♠
A dream scenario for Bourgeois, but poker can be a brutal game at times. The 2♥ river sawe Bird improving to bottom set, and as such, Bourgeois became one of the earlier casualties in Day 2.

With the 2026 PartyPoker Tour currently in town, it’s a good time to look at the biggest winners in Casino Admiral Sevilla’s history, courtesy of The Hendon Mob.
Top 10 All-Time Earners at Casino Admiral Sevilla, as of March 2026
Italy’s Federico Castiglioni sits atop the leaderboard, thanks entirely to his victory in the 2023 ESPT Sevilla Main Event, where he banked €73,290 ($78,360).
Hot on his heels is Ramon Fernandez with $77,526 in total earnings. The biggest piece of Spaniard’s winnings in the Casino Admiral came last month with a win at the Circuito Nacional de Poker Main Event for €60,000.
Rounding out the top three is André Franco from Portugal. Similar to Fernandez, a large portion of his earnings comes from the CNdP, where he secured €58,937 for winning a year earlier.
With the PartyPoker Tour in full swing and the €500 Main Event featuring another hyper starting flight today ahead of Day 2 later on, there’s a very good chance the eventual winner will climb straight into the Casino Admiral Sevilla top 10 once the dust settles, with currently sixth-placed Manuel Delgado already in a strong position after bagging the second-biggest stack from Day 1B
Play has come to an end in Day 1b of the €500 Main Event, and that concludes today’s live coverage on poker.pro.
The editorial office will be back with the chip counts for Day 1b (and the turbo flight that is Day 1c, once it finishes). Tomorrow, a more thorough recap of today’s action will be posted.
Thanks to everyone who’s been following along with today’s action, and see you all tomorrow at 18:00 when Day 2 of the Main event kicks off.

Niall “Firaldo” Farrell is one of the most recent additions to the PartyPoker Tour Ambassador team. Firaldo is a living legend who has a triple crown to his name, over $7,000,000 in live earnings, and a resume that mere mortals would die for.

The €60 poker.pro Friday Party Crazy Pineapple Bounty has proved to be a stellar success. With the conclusion of Level 9 (including the break before Level 10), the tournament now tells the tale of 138 entries and a €3,174 prize pool, making it one of – if not the – biggest-ever poker.pro branded events.

the €60 poker.pro Friday Party Crazy Pineapple Bounty has kicked off. There are currently 85 entries in the field, which is a great start. It’s an educated guess that the locals aren’t spoiled with Mixed Games tournaments.
There might even be a secret prize for the winning alongside the trophy…
The 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville has proved to be a smashing success, and although there are still two more days of action to come, it’s never too early to get excited for what’s next to come. It was fairly recently that PartyPoker announced an additional five stops in 2025 on top of the four revealed a few months ago. The tour has now announced nine stops in three different countries. Click the article below to learn exactly where the PartyPoker Tour is going this year.
While late registration has closed in Day 1b of the €500 Main Event, players can still tangle in the turbo flight that is 1c. The tournament kicked off roughly one hour ago and is currently on Level 3; as is the case with all starting-day flights, late registration will be open until Level 10 starts.
Thomas Sanderson, winner of the £500 Main Event during the 2025 PartyPoker Tour London Winter Edition. Photo: Nunzia Esposito
Last year, PartyPoker made its much-anticipated return to the live poker scene, as the 2025 PartyPoker Tour was born. The tour consisted of five stops (all in the UK), and the successful first year is why the tour is expanding to Spain this year.
The 2025 PartyPoker Tour wrapped up with its fifth and final stop at the same place it began: Genting Casino Stratford, London. As is always the case with the PartyPoker Tour, the £500 Main Event headlined the schedule, and considering the biggest-ever PartyPoker Tour Main Event to date went down in London during the inaugural stop of the tour last year, the expectations were high for yet another big turnout in the English capital.
The Main Event during the 2025 PartyPoker Tour Winter Edition attracted 399 entries, creating a £177,555 prize pool. In other words, the £100,000 guarantee was smashed in stellar fashion. After three days of intense poker action, it was Thomas Sanderson who emerged victorious, claiming the £27,780 first-place prize and the trophy.
Then, there was also the £150 Mini Main Event. A total of 726 entries translated to a £90,750 prize pool; the £50,000 guarantee was almost doubled. The tournament was a smashing success, and victory would belong to André Emerenciano, who emerged victorious and cashed for £14,530.
The PartyPoker Tour will return to Genting Casino Stratford, London, in 2026. It has been announced that the tour will pay the English capital a visit July 4-12, and considering the numbers the two previous London stops have delivered, players should have high expectations.
The dinner break has concluded, and late registration is closed for Day 1b of the €500 Main Event. It has been confirmed that 42 players will advance to Day 2, joining those 30 who bagged in Day 1a.
One who utilized the late reg was PartyPoker Team Pro Jaime Staples. After a Spanish siesta, he registered for Day 1b with just minutes left of late registration. His brother Matt Staples is still in the field, playing a respectable stack.
The 93 players currently in Day 1b of the €500 Main Event are on a 60-minute dinner break. When they resume play on Level 10, late registration will be closed. In other words, it’s the last window now to enter for Day 1b.
Below are some of the biggest stacks in the room as of now.
Day 1b of the €500 Main Event has reached Level 9; there will be a 60-minute dinner break after this level. When Level 10 resumes, late registration will close.
Below are all the chip counts for the PartyPoker Tour Ambassadors. Also included is PartyPoker Team Pro Matt Staples, who plays a very respectable stack. For reference, the average stack at this point is 87,000.
Wonderful news, as the €100,000 guarantee of the €500 Main Event has already been surpassed. It was actually a few hours ago, and the prize pool currently reads €124,650. Considering the pace, this is on par to become the biggest-ever Main Event of the PartyPoker Tour.
PartyPoker Tour Ambassadors Sam Acheampong and Daniel Garcia are currently on the featured table. Watch them put their full poker skills on display through the player above.

PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Rebecca Hardisty started Friday with a trophy, as she emerged victorious in the €20 Invitational Staff Tournament. Heads-up, she beat brother-in-law Matt Staples, and it’s safe to say she’s in fine form. She’s currently playing 27,800 in Day 1b of the €500 Main Event; only time will tell if she gets more trophies this week.
The two PartyPoker Team Pros, Jaime Staples and Matt Staples, have been at Admiral Casino since the very start of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville. While Jaime is still to be seen on Day 1b of the €500 Main Event, things are going great for Matt. This poker.pro live journalist just passed by him, seeing him stacking 172,000. It turned out he’d just busted Peggy “Pocket Peg” Crawford in brutal fashion with a full house against the nut flush.
While most players are currently locking horns in the €500 Main Event Day 1b, there are some contestants in Day 1a of the €250 PLO Masters Main Event. Hazan is the founder of the PLO Masters, which runs in conjunction with the PartyPoker Tour, and he’s excited for his series of PLO tournaments to expand to Spanish Soil. I asked Hazan what it means to him that the PLO Masters have made it to Seville:
“It’s a challenge, because the PLO scene in Spain is not very big. That being said, 71 entries in yesterday’s €100 PLO Masters 4/5/6 were great. PartyPoker and the PLO Masters had predicted a maximum of 50 entries in that specific event, so it exceeded our expectations. Perhaps, the Spanish PLO scene is growing.”
Day 1a of the PLO Masters Main Event is currently on Level 3, featuring Blinds 100/300. Thirteen players out of the total 15 entries are still in the mix; late registration is still open, and Hazan himself is just about to enter the inaugural flight, perhaps with the mission to teach the Spaniards their way around four cards. That being said, it was a local player who knocked Hazan out of yesterday’s PLO Masters 4/5/6…
It’s break time for the Day 1b players of the €500 Main Event. They are soon set to resume play on Level 7, featuring Blinds 500/1,000 with a 1,000 Ante. Below are the 10 biggest stacks in the room as of now.
One player who busted shortly before the break was PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Barry Carter. He will rebuy, though; late registration for Day 1b is open until Level 10 starts.

Last year, PartyPoker made its much-anticipated return to the live poker scene, as the 2025 PartyPoker Tour was born. The tour consisted of five stops (all in the UK), and the successful first year is why the tour is expanding to Spain this year.
The fourth stop of the 2025 PartyPoker Tour was held in Birmingham. It was the first time in some years that Genting Resorts World, Birmingham, hosted a live poker event of this magnitude, and the local players were very grateful for PartyPoker bringing new life to the scene.
The £500 Main Event attracted 343 entries; the £100,000 guarantee was shattered, as the final prize pool read £152,635. The £27,420 and the coveted trophy were ultimately claimed by Tai Hoang, who displayed great poker skills throughout the 2025 PartyPoker Tour Birmingham.
Robert Douras, winner of the £150 Mini Main Event during the 2025 PartyPoker Tour Birmingham. Photo: Nunzia Esposito
Speaking of Hoang, he had quite the week, as he also finished as the runner-up in the £150 Mini Main Event. Out of the 660 entries, Robert Douras was the only one who could outlast Hoang. Douras claimed £14,370 after what has to be one of the most dominating performances ever on a final table. Hoang got £9,080, which was also a considerable amount of the £82,500 prize pool.
Looking for action, this poker.pro live reporter stopped by the table featuring PartyPoker Tour Ambassadors Barry Carter and Natalie Bromley, as well as prominent player Franky Green. While partaking in some banter with Carter, Bromley opened to 2,000 from the Lo-jack. The Big Blind decided to defend his forced bet.
Action went check-check on the J♣Q♦7♥ flop. Bromley bet 2,000 on the 2♣ turn, and her opponent decided to stick around. Bromley fired again on the 8♥ river, this time 6,400. Her opponent considered the situation for a minute or two before mucking his hand.
Noticing my presence, Bromley pulled up the arms on her shirt, proving she did not have any aces up her sleeves.

Those who’re not tangling in the €500 Main Event or the €250 PLO Masters Main Event might take their shot in the €60 poker.pro Friday Party Madness Crazy Pineapple Bounty. The tournament kicks off at 22:00, and it’s far from the first poker.pro-branded tournament that’s been hosted in conjunction with the PartyPoker Tour. Below is a breakdown of all former poker.pro-branded tournaments; after tonight, there will be another winner joining the Hall of Fame.
After eliminating Jonas Araujo in second place, Juan Anguas is now the winner of the €150 Mini Main Event. He takes home €9,770 and the coveted trophy.
That’s a wrap for today’s live coverage on poker.pro. A longer recap of today’s action will be uploaded tomorrow, which will also include the results from the €150 PLO Masters 4/5/6 and the chip counts for Day 1a of the €500 Main Event.
Carlos Gomez moved all in for 2,455,000 from the Button. Jonas Araujo made the call from the Big Blind.
Carlos Gomez: K♥2♥ Jonas Araujo: K♦8♦
Gomez was in rough shape, and as the board spelled out J♦7♣4♣Q♥9♠, he bid farewell in third place for 6,900. As such, the stage is now set for a heads-up showdown between Araujo and Juan Anguas.
Jonas Araujo: 17,230,000 Juan Anguas: 8,870,000 Carlos Gomez: 0
Action folded to Oscar Rodriguez, who moved all in for 2,700,000 from the Small Blind. Jonas Araujo made the call from the Big Blind.
Oscar Rodriguez: K♥Q♠ Jonas Araujo: J♦10♣
Rodriguez maintained his lead on the 8♦4♠4♥ flop, but the 10♦ brought a momentum switch. Rodriguez didn’t reclaim the driver’s seat on the A♦ river, and as such, he was eliminated in fifth place for €6,190.
Gilberto Lopez opened to 450,000 from the Cut-off and was then faced with a 1,350,000 three-bet from Jonas Anguas. Lopez forced his opponent all in for 3,195,000 in total, and Anguas made the call.
Gilberto Lopez: A♠K♥ Jonas Anguas: 9♠9♦
It was a classic coin flip situation, but Anguas didn’t make it too exciting on the 9♣3♠6♠ flop. The board completed with 4♥2♥, and Anguas doubled up.
After Peggy “Pocket Peg” Crawford’s exit in seventh place, the remaining six Spanish players have agreed to an ICM deal. Below are the amounts locked up; the winner will get an extra €4,000.
Peggy “Pocket Peg” Crawford open-shoved for 1,430,000 from the Small Blind. Seated in the Big Blind, Jonas Anguas made the call.
Peggy Crawford: K♦Q♣ Jonas Anguas: A♠10♥
Anguas improved his lead significantly on the A♥7♠3♣ flop. The 10♠ turn saw Crawford picking up a straight draw, but the Q♠ river ultimately ended her tournament life. For her seventh-place finish, Crawford was awarded €1,780.
Peggy “Pocket Peg” Crawford min-raised to 400,000 from the Cut-off. Jonas Araujo decided to defend his Big Blind.
Action went check-check on the 5♥6♥5♣ flop. Araujo bet 865,000 on the 10♥ turn before Crawford forced her opponent all in for 2,600,000 in total. Araujo made the call faster than the speed of lightning.
Peggy Crawford: K♥Q♦ Jonas Araujo: 9♥7♥
Araujo had turned a flush, and Crawford didn’t improve to a superior one on the 10♠ river. A visibly happy Araujo doubled through Crawford.
UTG+1, PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Niall “Firaldo” Farrell committed 1,440,000 of his stack to a pre-flop raise, leaving himself with a mere 40,000 behind. Oscar Rodriguez made the call from the Big Blind.
First to act, Rodriguez forced Firaldo all-in on the 9♣K♦Q♦ flop. Naturally, Firaldo made the call.
Oscar Rodriguez: A♦8♥ Niall “Firaldo” Farrell: K♣J♣
Firaldo was still ahead with a pair of kings, but the 8♦ was one of the best cards in the decks for Rodriguez, and especially for the suspension. He improved to the nut flush on the 4♦, seeing Firaldo off in eighth for €1,430.
Oscar Rodriguez: 3,800,000 Niall “Firaldo” Farrell: 0
PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Niall “Firaldo” Farrell min-raised to 320,000 from UTG+1. Action folded to Juan Anguas, who moved all in for 950,000 from the Small Blind. When action came back to Firaldo, he made the call without the slightest hesitation.
Juan Anguas: A♥10♠ Niall “Firaldo” Farrell: K♠K♣
Firaldo was way ahead with the cowboys, but there’s always an ace, isn’t it? The board spelled out 2♥9♦J♥A♣4♠, awarding the pot and a full double-up to Anguas.
Juan Anguas: 2,220,000 Niall “Firaldo” Farrell: 1,880,000
Seated in the Cut-off, Carlos Gomez opened to 325,000. The charismatic Hady Sirbu made the call from the Big Blind.
After an initial check from Sirbu on the Q♣K♥9♥ flop, Gomez continued for 275,000. “You’re very good,” Sirbu acknowledged his opponent’s skill set as he raised to 600,000. Gomez made the call.
Seconds before the dealer turned over the A♠ turn, Sirbu announced all-in in the dark for his last 1,160,000. Gomez made the call.
Hady Sirbu: K♦Q♠ Carlos Gomez: A♣10♠
Sirbu was an 80% favorite, but the Poker Gods were looking out for Gomez, who improved to a superior two-pair on the 10♥ river. As such, Sirbu became the first casualty of the final table, earning €1,120 for his ninth-place finish.
The €150 Mini Main Event is now down to the final table. Peggy “Pocket Peg” Crawford still has the chip lead; PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Niall “Firaldo” Farrell is still in the mix. Below is the final table chip counts.
Seated in the Cut-off, Alberto Simon open-shoved for 625,000. After receiving the count, Peggy “Pocket Peg” Crawford made the call from the Button.
Alberto Simon: K♠7♠ Peggy Crawford: 7♥7♣
A dream spot for Crawford to pick up additional chips, and as the board spelled out 3♠8♦9♦2♠7♦, she sent Simon to the rail, bringing the total number of players left down to 10.
Action folded to Manuel Salamanca, who moved all in for 880,000 from the Cut-off. Fernando Banda made the call from the Big Blind.
Manuel Salamanca: K♥7♦ Fernando Banda: A♦Q♦
Banda was already ahead, and he improved his lead drastically on the 5♥Q♠2♠ flop. Salamanca didn’t manage to catch up on the 4♠8♠ runout, and he bid farewell in twelfth place for €720.
UTG, Juanmi Cubero opened to 250,000. Seated in the Small Blind, Gilberto Lopez was the sole caller.
Lopez check-called a 275,000 bet from Cubero on the A♣2♣4♥ flop. After another check from Lopez on the 10♥ turn, Cubero moved all in for 1,475,000. Lopez made the call without hesitation.
Juanmi Cubero: K♥Q♥ Gilberto Lopez: 4♠4♣
Not a half-shabby semi-bluff from Cubero, but Lopez was way ahead with a flopped set. Cubero didn’t hit any of his outs on the 5♣ river, and he was sent to the rail in thirteenth place for €720.
Action folded to short-stacked Manuel Salamanca, who moved all in for 320,000 from the Small Blind. It was a “Call with any two” scenario for Gilberto Lopez Manzanero, and, as such, he did make the call from the Big Blind.
Manuel Salamanca: 8♣7♦ Gilberto Lopez Manzanero: A♠J♥
Salamanca was trailing, but he was well alive. He immediately connected on the Q♥6♥8♠ flop, and as the board completed with 9♠5♣, he secured a full double-up.
Gilberto Lopez Manzanero: 2,225,000 Manuel Salamanca: 880,000
Level 26 has concluded, and that means that Day 2 of the €150 Mini Main Event has wrapped up. The 14 remaining players are bagging their chips, and they will return tomorrow at 20:00 to resume the hunt for the €15,920 first-place payout. The final day will feature a live-streamed table; the broadcast will start at 20:30 with a 30-minute delay.
That’s a wrap for today’s live coverage on poker.pro; thanks to everyone who’s been tuning in during the day. The poker.pro editorial office will soon return with the chip counts, and tomorrow’s blog will go live at 20:00, following the streamed table. When the final table is set, the blog will follow the stream delay. Tomorrow, around 14:00, a longer recap of today’s action will be posted on poker.pro.

Seated UTG, Jose Maria Lozano Granjo open-shoved for 685,000. After receiving the count, Daniele Barbera made the call from the Small Blind. The two of them were soon heads-up to the flop.
Jose Maria Lozano Granjo: 5♦5♥ Daniele Barbera: J♥10♥
Granjo’s small pocket pair stood the test of time, as the board spelled out 8♥A♦7♦5♣8♦. As Granjo doubled up, Barbera was left in critical condition.
Jose Maria Lozano Granjo: 1,490,000 Daniele Barbera: 60,000
Linda Iwaniak opened to 150,000 UTG. Action folded all the way to Dillan Patel, who defended his Big Blind.
After an initial check from Patel on the 3♥K♠7♣ flop, Iwaniak forced her opponent all in for 585,000. Patel wasted little time before making the call for his tournament life.
Linda Iwaniak: 5♠5♦ Dillan Patel: K♦J♦
A good scenario for Patel, and the runout didn’t see Iwaniak reclaim the lead. She lost the bigger chunk of her chips to Patel, but she’s still one of three women standing in the €150 Mini Main Event (together with Peggy “Pocket Peg” Crawford and Carmen Lopez Cubero).
After winning a significant pot against Hady Sirbu, PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Niall “Firaldo” Farrell now seems to have reclaimed the chip lead. He’s playing 2,450,000, and two seats to the right of him. Rodriguez Ialamonte has almost an identical stack. Those two are currently leading the field with three tables remaining.
Action folded to the charismatic Hady Sirbu, who opened to 75,000 from the Button. Markus Mortensen decided to defend his Big Blind.
Mortensen chose to donk bet 80,000 on the K♥A♠6♣ flop, and Sirbu made the call. Mortensen slowed down and proceeded to check-call a 50,000 bet from Sirbu on the 7♠ turn. The river was the A♦, pairing the board, and Mortensen now bet 225,000. This had Sirbu visibly troubled. “It doesn’t make sense,” he scratched his head. After perhaps two minutes’ worth of pondering, he decided to let his hand go.
“Show me,” Sirbu urged his opponent. “I’m not sure you want to see it,” Mortensen replied, as he revealed his J♦5♠ holdings. The table shared a laugh, and being a good sport, Sirbu bro-fisted his opponent.
The board read 5♦7♥2♠J♠ with 450,000 in the middle. Niall “Firaldo” Farrell (UTG) checked it over to Ryana Kritzer, who checked it back. On the 10♣ river, Firaldo put out a 350,000 bet, big enough to get a fold out of Kritzer.
It’s quite the interesting table with Firaldo, Kritzer (who is the fiancée of PartyPoker Team Pro Matt Staples), Day 1a chip leader Peggy “Pocket Peg” Crawford, and early-stages chip leader Jose Maria Lozano Granjo.
Niall “Firaldo” Farrell: 1,700,000 Peggy Crawford: 1,160,000 Jose Maria Lozano Granjo: 700,000 Ryana Kritzer: 700,000
It’s a 15-minute break for the remaining 33 players in the €150 Mini Main Event. Below are the 10 biggest stacks in the room as of now. PartyPoker Tour Ambassador and poker legend Niall “Firaldo” Farrell is the current chip leader.
Seated UTG, Adrian Casado Lopez opened to 50,000. Action folded all the way to Gabriel Barba, who decided to defend his Big Blind.
Barba immediately moved all in for roughly 200,000 on the 2♠9♦8♦ flop, and Casado Lopez called just as fast.
Gabriel Barba: 10♥8♥ Adrian Casado Lopez: K♦K♠
“Again?!” This poker.pro live reporter was thinking, as pocket kings appeared for at least the fifth time tonight. No dice for Barba on the monotone runout, and all his chips went to Casado Lopez.
Seated on the same table is PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Niall “Firaldo” Farrell, who is playing roughly 1,000,000.
PartyPoker Team Pro Matt Staples was all in before the flop for what looked to be 200,000.
Matt Staples: A♠K♦ Opponent: 2♥2♠
Both players improved on the 2♣J♣10♥ flop, but Staples was in rough shape. The runout turned out to be quite the rollercoaster; Staples improved to a straight on the Q♠ turn, but the Q♥ river saw his opponent improving to a full house.
As such, Staples was eliminated in fortieth place for €360. That means that Niall “Firaldo” Farrell is the only one left wearing a PartyPoker patch. What’s worth mentioning, though, is that Staples’ fiancée, Ryana Kritzer, is still in the field. Not too shabby, considering it’s her first-ever live poker tournament.
Action folded to Peggy “Pocket Peg” Crawford, who min-raised to 40,000 from the Button. Matteo Fritz then moved all in for 155,000, and Miguel Gomez Parraga re-shoved for roughly 500,000 from the Big Blind. Crawford grimaced, “That’s unfortunate,” before folding her hand.
Matteo Fritz: A♣4♥ Miguel Gomez Parraga: K♦K♥
This is the fourth time today that this poker.pro live reporter sees pocket kings. The Q♣9♠Q♦ flop didn’t help Fritz, and he was drawing dead when Gomez Parraga improved to a full house on the K♣ turn. The dealer dealt the A♥ for ceremonial reasons, before pushing all the chips to Gomez Parraga.
Action folded to Manuel Sanchez, who opened to 24,000 from the Lo-jack. Seated right next to him, Carlos Herrador made it 60,000 from the Hi-jack. When it came back to Sanchez, he forced his opponent all in for 259,000 in total. Herrador made the call without hesitation.
Manuel Sanchez: Q♠Q♥ Carlos Herrador: K♣K♥
Sanchez was dominated, and no case queen or any other help as the board spelled out 4♠3♥4♦6♣10♥. As such, he lost a big part of his stack to Herrador.
Seated UTG, Adrian Casado Lopez opened to 24,000. Jose Antonio Guerrero then fancied a three-bet to 55,000 from the Hi-jack. Once the action folded back to Lopez, he made the call.
Lopez check-called a 33,000 bet from Guerrero on the 6♦10♣9♥ flop. Both players checked the 6♥ turn, and the 7♥ river.
Adrian Casado Lopez: 8♥8♦ Jose Antonio Guerrero: A♥A♦
A rivered straight saw Lopez crack the pocket aces of Guerrero.
Adrian Casado Lopez: 660,000 Jose Antonio Guerrero: 527,000

Feel like you’re not up to date with everything that’s been going down at Admiral Casino during the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville so far? Don’t worry; poker.pro got you covered. Through the links below, you can read up on every knook and cranny of the action so far. Also, during the “Results” tab in the live blog, you can see all the results from the various events so far.
the €60 poker.pro Friday Party Crazy Pineapple Bounty has kicked off.

The featured table of the €500 Main Event currently has PartyPoker Tour Ambassador Niall “Firaldo” Farrell in the mix. Watch the live-stream through the player above.
This poker.pro live reporter took a stroll through the tournament area and noticed Irish poker legend Dara O’Kearney opening to 1,500 from the Hi-jack. His opponent in the Big Blind decided to defend her Big Blind, and the dealer brought the 6♠8♠K♠ flop to the table. The opponent check-called a 1,500 continuation bet from O’Kearney. Action then went check-check on the 9♣ turn. The opponent completed the check trifecta on the 3♥ river; O’Kearney now fired a 4,000 bet, and the opponent called.
O’Kearney revealed 6♣3♣, which was enough to take down the pot.
Zhen Zhen, winner of the £500 Main Event during the 2025 PartyPoker Tour Glasgow. Photo: Nunzia Esposito
Last year, PartyPoker made its much-anticipated return to the live poker scene, as the 2025 PartyPoker Tour was born. The tour consisted of five stops (all in the UK), and the successful first year is why the tour is expanding to Spain this year.
The third stop of the 2025 PartyPoker tour was in Glasgow. The legendary PokerBrand took over Alea Casino for a week; it’s an utterly beautiful casino with the most amazing view over the River Clyde.
The £500 Main Event featured a Cinderella story, as exchange student Zhen Zhen navigated her way through the field that consisted of 256 entries. For her win, Zhen was awarded £22,500, the largest chunk of the £111,821 prize pool.
The festival, naturally, also featured the £150 Mini Main Event. That particular affair scored 468 entries, creating a £57,966 prize pool. It was local player Christian Watt who claimed the win and the £10,260 first-place payout.
PartyPoker will return to Glasgow and Alea Casino as a part of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour. All players would be very wise to mark August 3-9 in their calendars, preparing for yet another PartyPoker Tour event in the Scottish gem.

Yesterday’s schedule featured the exciting conclusion of the €150 Mini Main Event. It was Spaniard Juan Anguas who ultimately emerged victorious, claiming the trophy and €9,770.
the poker.pro live reporter Christoffer Karlén has uploaded a recap of everything that went down yesterday at Admiral Casino, including Day 1a of the €500 Main Event and the €100 PLO Masters 4/5/6.
At the PartyPoker Tour in Seville, I met Kristina Rutia and Paola Morrondo — two players at very different stages of their poker journeys, yet united by something powerful: the decision to show up.
For Paola, this was her first time ever playing poker in person.
“It was the last opportunity I had to come, and I just came,” she tells me, smiling. Work had almost made it impossible. With only one free day in an otherwise packed schedule, she nearly didn’t make it. Online poker had always fit her life better — fast, flexible, something you can dip in and out of. Live poker felt like a different commitment altogether.
Paola
And yet, encouraged by her boyfriend Marcos, she took the leap.
“I was really nervous,” she admits. “I’d never sat down with people playing right next to me.”
That first experience could easily have been overwhelming. Instead, it became something else entirely.
“The people were really encouraging. They told me I played well. It made me want to keep going.”
Kristina’s story begins differently, but arrives at a similar place.
Originally from Zaragoza, she had played poker casually with family and friends. But everything changed when she started watching professional games online.
“It felt like a completely different world,” she says. “I couldn’t quite grasp the nuances.”
Kristina
That changed when her partner Yeyu introduced her to the deeper mechanics of the game.
“He said to me, ‘Son of a gun, you’re playing better than me!’ That was it. From that moment, I never looked back.”
Since then, poker has become central not just to her life, but to her relationship. And travel is a huge part of the appeal.
“I love going to different places. That’s one of the best things about the PartyPoker tour.”
Of course, the reality is not always glamorous.
“Sometimes you’re playing until 5am. There’s no way I’m getting up at 9am to explore the city,” she laughs. “But it’s worth it. After all, I’m here for the poker.”
What makes this story particularly compelling is that Kristina and Paola met here in Seville.
A shared experience at the tables quickly turned into a friendship — and now, a plan.
They want to travel together to future poker stops, building a small but growing community of women who can support each other.
“There were only four women and more than a hundred men,” Paola says. “I almost didn’t come because of that.”
But she did.
And Kristina is quick to point out that things are changing.
“I always notice how many women are playing. And there are more and more of us.”
Visibility matters. Representation matters. And interestingly, she notes that even in online spaces, gender plays a role.
“A lot of usernames are female, even when men are playing. People assume women are weaker players.”
It’s a revealing insight into the psychology of the game — and the quiet strategies that shape it.
Online poker and live poker, both agree, are two completely different beasts.
Online, you can get used to patterns, styles, and rhythms. In person, everything shifts. You read the room. You read people. You learn again.
And yet, platforms like PartyPoker make that transition possible.
They offer real accessibility — the chance to qualify, to try, to step into the live arena without barriers that once felt insurmountable.
For Paola, that opportunity made all the difference.
“This is just the beginning,” she says.
Seville, too, plays its part.
There is something about the city — its warmth, its openness, its energy — that mirrors the atmosphere at the tables. Even among strangers, there is a sense of ease. The games are not silent, tense spaces. People talk. They help. They encourage.
And then there is everything else: the food, the weather, the rhythm of the streets.
It is a city that welcomes you, even if you have never been before.
At the tables, Kristina is effortlessly stylish, adorned with poker-inspired accessories. Paola, with her distinctive glasses, brings her own sharp edge.
Poker, here, is not just a game. It is becoming something else — a space of identity, style, and community.
And perhaps most importantly, it is becoming a space where women feel they can belong.
They are still nervous. That doesn’t disappear overnight.
The number of entries in Day 1b of the €500 Main Event is increasing at a rapid pace. There are many notable names in the field already, such as PartyPoker Tour Ambassadors Daniel Garcia, Barry Carter, Joe Beevers, Natalie Bromley, and Niall “Firaldo” Farrell.
The “Results” tab in the live blog has now been updated with all results from the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville so far. Navigate to it in order to see how your friends have been doing in the various events.
Welcome, all, to the fourth day of the 2026 PartyPoker Tour Seville. The poker.pro live reporter Christoffer Karlén is ready to catch every knook and cranny of the action.
Today’s live blog will focus a little bit of everything, but perhaps a little more on Day 1b of the €500 Main event. The tournament kicked off roughly 10 minutes ago, with 30 players in from the get-go. The editorial office will soon return with the chip counts from yesterday’s Day 1a flight.
Today’s schedule features two starting-day flights of the Main Event, but that’s far from the only action going on. The €250 PLO Masters Main Event also kicks off with its first starting-day flight, and tonight at 22:00, it’s time for the much-anticipated €60 poker.pro Friday Party Madness Crazy Pineapple Bounty.

Level 23 has come to an end, and that’s a wrap for today. Day 2 of the €500 Main Event was a marathon, and 13 players will return tomorrow at 17:00 to battle it out for the title.
That’s a wrap for today’s live coverage on poker.pro. The editorial office will be back with the chip counts as soon as possible. A longer recap of today’s action will be uploaded tomorrow, and tomorrow’s live coverage will commence at 17:00.

With His Elimination of Barbara Jiménez in second place, Francisco Garrido Cruz is now crowned the winner of the €500 Main Event during the 2026 PartyPoker Tour. For his achievement, he takes home €30,500, the coveted trophy, and the prestigious title.
That’s a wrap for today’s live coverage on poker.pro; thanks to everyone who’s been following along with the action. A longer recap of everything that went down at Casino Admiral today will be published tomorrow on poker.pro. Until then, enjoy the full results of the €500 Main Event.

Below are the chip counts for the 13 players remaining in the €500 Main Event. They will resume play tomorrow (Sunday, March 22) at 17:00, on Level 24, featuring Blinds 25,000/50,000 and a 50,000 Ante.
